高岭土矿物组分特征对纸张涂布粘浓度的影响

摘    要:粘浓度是纸张涂布的一项重要指标,它受涂布高岭土的矿物组分特征所影响。蒙脱石、水云母类矿物的存在,特别是蒙脱石的混入对涂布高岭土是有害的。高岭石的结晶有序度与粘浓度存在一定联系。高岭石的结晶指数采用Hinckley方法测定,从0.33变化至1.27,其粘浓度的范围从41.7-66.5%。当结晶度指数大于1时,粘浓度大于66%;当结晶度指数小于1时,粘浓度小于66%。有序的高岭石有利于粘浓度的提高。进

Abstract:he viscosity concentration (VC) is an important index for the paper coating and related to the component charateristics of clay minerals. The analysis results show that the montmorillonite and the hydromica are harmful materal on the paper coating. The VC varies from 41. 7% to 66. 5% and the Hinckley index (HI) has a range of variation from 0. 33 to 1. 27. It Is interesting to note that when HI>1 the VC is more than 66 per cent in the samples and that when HI<1 the VC less than 66 per cent in the samples. It is evident that the wellordered kaolinnes play a major role in the increase of VC. The more detailed study shows that the low-ordered koalinites can exhibit a less width/thickness radio, though they present no whole crystal outline. The less width/thickness ratio, the more the VC in the samples.Therefore, the crystal morphlogical property of kaolinite is one of important factors which are effect on the VC of paper coating.
