| Abstract: | By taking the actual measured flood series with less uncertainty as the leading principle, the computing methods associated with the extraordinary flood series are discussed in this paper, which includes the plotting position, parameter estimation and curve fitting procedure. The methods are analyzed with examples and the improvement to these methods has been proposed. |
