| Abstract: | Entering the 21 st century, a ＂golden age for city＂ boom of large-scale construction came into being in China driven by a series of policies. Consequently, architectural design also entered a historical period of unprecedented prosperity, which is the mainstream of the times. Nevertheless, it can not be ignored that there still exists plagiarism, similarity, and grotesquerie etc in architectural designing, which reflects inadaptability to China＇s national realities in present stage. Therefore, the author puts forward a six-point proposal in public building design and a three-point proposal in residential building design respectively, in order to promote creativity and sustainable prosperity in architectural design under the guidance of scientific outlook on development. |
