摘    要:An approach is recommended for the correction of common Pb contribution to ^207Pb/^206Pb ages obtained by the zircon evaporation technique.A comparison with that by Cocherie et al.(1992)shows that two approaches yield similar results in the ^207Pb*/^206Pb* ratios.But when using the new approach,only two errors of the measured ^204Pb/^206Pb and ^207Pb/^207Pb ratios are introduced to the calculated ^207Pb^*/^206Pb^* ratios.

Abstract:An approach is recommended for the correction of common Pb contribution to Pb/206Pb ages obtained by the zircon evaporation technique. A comparison with that by Cocherie et al. (1992) shows that two approaches yield similar results in the207Pb*/206Pb* ratios. But when using the new approach, only two errors of the measured204Pb/206Pb and207Pb/206Pb ratios are introduced to the calculated207Pb*/206Pb* ratios.
