| 摘 要： | 须腕动物门(Pogonophora)皱节虫科(Sabelliditidae)的化石(图版Ⅲ,图2)在前寒武纪和寒武纪沉积内均大量发现,最近此种化石还发现于苏联的中里菲界(约11亿年),被认为是一种可靠的最古老的后生动物化石。

| Abstract: | The present paper deals with the fauna occurring in strata near the Precambrian-Cambrian boundary from well-studied localition in South China. This fauna is similar to the non-trilobite zone (Tommotian) reported recently in other continents. With the exception of a few members the faunal make-up is mainly in common with that of the Siberian platform. Evidently in stratigraphic position the Sinian System may correspond to the Bdiacaran (or Vendian). Furthermore, through chemical treatment of collection by the author have been found some shell fossils of indefinite ta-xon’omie position, which have never been discovered from Lower Cambrian strata in other countries. In short, such a discovery helps to define the base of the Cambrian which is of stratigraphic interest to many geologists. |
