摘    要:宣龙式铁矿是我国北方重要的沉积型铁矿。多年来,许多地质工作者从不同角度进行了研究。宣龙铁矿与藻叠层关系密切,本文着重探讨生物(蓝藻)对铁矿富集的作用。

Abstract:This paper discusses the ore fabric and biogenesis of iron-ore, in the Xuanlong iron Mine as well as the relationship between them. According to the fabric, iron-ore can be divided into following types: 1)iron-algae-stromatolite; 2)iron-algae-oncolite; 3)iron-algae-thrombolite; 4)algae-oolite of hematite; 5)oolite of hematite, and 6)terrigenous quartz iron ore. In our point of view, iron-ore is of biogenic origin. The iron-ores were extracted and enriched by algae from sea water, though the terrigenous quartz is an exception.
