东太平洋CC区多金属结核的物质组构及形成环境意义

摘    要:运用反光显微镜、电子探针对东太平洋CC区多金属结核中壳层构造及鲕粒的韵律环带进行的初步的研究结果表明,多金属结核构造有原生沉积成因和成岩成因的,也有后期次生成因的,不同构造反映不同的深海环境。平行纹层构造代表深海底流周期性强弱变化特征,叠层构造和斑杂构造则反映了成岩早期外力作用使结核变形的特征。结核中鲕粒的环带是结核形成时在一个较短时间段内底层海水氧化-还原条件和ph、Eh值发生周期变化的结果。鲕粒环带截面反射率的强弱(明暗带)与环带中的铁锰相对含量有关,而这又取决于环带形成时环境的Eh、pH值和海水的含氧性。

Abstract:This paper studies the structures and rhythm layers in the oolitic and laminated polymetallic nodules from the CC zone. East Pacific Basin using the Microscope and Microprobe. The results show that there are two kinds of genetic structures of polymetallic nodules: the primary structures ( sediment and diagenetic) and the secondary structures. Different nodule structure reflects the characteristic environmental in the deep sea. The parallel laminated structures indicate the periodic variation of the sea bottom flow in energy. The nappe and mottled staictures resulted from some stresses during the earlier diagenesis. The ring structures of oolitic nodules close related to the oxidation-reduction condition and ph, Eh of bottom water varied periodically. The layers formed vary thin because they precipitated in a short period. The intensity of reflectivity is related to relative contents of Fe, Mn and crystallization in different layers, and restrict by the Ph, Eh and oxygen contents of bottom water during formation of the tiny layer.
