| 摘 要： | 长期以来众自然地把岛弧与火山活动联系起来，认为无火山喷发、无火山建造和火山沉积建造就不能称其为岛弧，火山活动无可非议的被认为是判别岛弧的首要标志。火山熔岩及火碎屑岩，自然地成为岛弧区建造的一个必然组成部分。但应予注意的是，火山岩和火山碎屑岩是不是岛弧区建造序列中的唯一成员，这一问题在国内、外该领域的研究中未被引起重视。笔者在我国西北地区的重要造山带之一－北祁连早古生代造山带，进行了较深入的工作并获

| Abstract: | t has been considered for a long time that an island-arc is naturally related with volcanic activities and that it can not be called the island-arc without the volcanic eruption,volcanosuite and volcano-deposuite.Then volcanic activity is beyond reproach to be a first mark of distinguishing island-arc and lava and pyroclastic rocks naturally become an indispensable component part of formation in an island-arc area. However,it is noteworthy to ascertaint if volcanic rock and pyroclastic rock are the only members of formation-sequence in the islandarc area and has not been paid enough attention in the research field both at home and over soas.In an Early Paleozoic orogenic belts of north Qilian Mis.one of the important orogenic belts from Northwest China,we have done a detailed work and got some new data.Consequently,we thought that there exist not only volcanic and volcanic-sedimentary rocks,but also biogenic carbonate rocks in island-arc area.And so it could be of an important significance that the two kind of rocks from very different genetic environments occur conformably and alternately in the same strata. |
