Abstract:The Indosinian alkaline complexes in Hebei Province outcrop in an approxiamately east west direction, which distribute along the two deep faults. These alkaline complexes consist of three rock associations:(1)pyroxene diorite quartz alkali feldspar syenite alkali feldspar granite syenite aegirine augite syeninte alkali feldspar syenite;(2)pyroxenite biotite pyroxenite magnetite apatitic rock syenite;(3)nepheline syenite urtite aegirine augite syenite ijolite. The former occurs along the north deep fault,and the two latters along the south deep faults.From north to south,the alkalinity of the alkaline complexes increases while contents of SiO 2 decreases. Their geochemical and geological characteristics showed that these alkaline complexes were originated from the collision between the Sibrian plate and Sino Kerea plate at the end of Hercynian period.
