摘    要:本文结合国内外典型研究事例分析 ,介绍了钨氧化物钐 钕同位素直接定年技术在贵重和有色金属矿床研究中的适用性和局限性 ,探讨了利用钕同位素数据示踪成矿物质来源与流体运移轨迹的可能性 ,指出对同一金属矿床开展多种同位素分析的重要性和必要性。

Abstract:Studies of precious and nonferrous metal deposits are often hampered by the lack of absolute age information regarding the time of mineralization. In many cases, the timing of ore-forming events must be inferred from the pre- or post-ore hydrothermal activities with conventional isotopic data. However, without a direct date on the ore and/or gangue hydrothermal minerals, the timing of the mineralizing event can only be inferred. Most recent studies demonstrated that tungsten oxides often contain significant quantities of the rare earth elements (REEs), that can be used for radiometric analyses . Since these tungsten oxides, including scheelite and wolframite, occur widely within the precious and nonferrous metal deposits that are Precambrian to Tertiary in age as accessory minerals, they may be suitable minerals for Sm-Nd, Rb-Sr and Pb-Pb isotopic analyses. In order to fully understand the ore-forming processes of the precious and nonferrous metal deposits, several successful cases for the Sm-Nd tungsten oxide studies on precious and nonferrous metal deposits at home and abroad have been introduced here. Meanwhile, the paper also presents some discussions about the availability and limitations of the Sm-Nd tungsten oxide data to the ore deposits. Sm-Nd tungsten oxide data can not only be used for Sm-Nd geochronological determination of age of precious and nonferrous metal deposits, but also be used to constrain the ore-forming material source and ore fluid paths.
