Abstract: | Promoting rural land consolidation and constructing new homes for farmers are conducive to intensive and economical land utilization, as well as improving the working and living environment for the farmers themselves. This paper analyzes the problems associated with guiding farmers towards a centralized residence scheme as part of rural land consolidation and rehabilitation, and discusses the different approaches available, using the polder areas at the southem end of the Yangtze River as an example. |
