| Abstract: | The exploration methd of Rayleigh wave is a new seismic method,which is more convenient and economic than other methods for civil and industrial construction investigations in areas of soft soil and karst etc.. In this paper, the principle, the field testing technique and date explanation of steady Rayleigh wave, transient Rayleigh wave and long-wave microtremors method are described. Several case studies are cited to illustrate its utilities. |
