| 摘 要： | In the present paper the shine-fading posibility of TL storage in quartz crystals is discussed with an artificial light source and also explained with the energy banal theory.In terms of the concept of “trap”, the author has substantiated the nature of TL storage in quartz crystals. A method for revising the residual TL stored in quartz crystals is proposed, and has been justified by the determined ages of six loess samples from different localities.
