摘    要:离子探针(SHRIMP)是一种主要用于锆石U-Pb年龄测定的仪器,已获得了大量有意义的年龄数据,但十分年轻地质体锆石年龄测定方面的报道还不多见.报道了北京离子探针中心应用SHRIMP技术测定青藏高原晚第三纪3.8 Ma碱性玄武岩的年龄结果,同时讨论了获得十分年轻地质体高精度锆石U-Pb年龄的条件.

Abstract:SHRIMP (sensitive high resolution ion microprobe) plays an important role in UPb zircon dating. However, this method is not applied widely in dating very young geological bodies. In this paper, it is reported a 3.8 Ma of age for a Neogene alkali basalt in the QinghaiXizang Plateau using SHRIMP II in Beijing SHRIMP Lab, which is the youngest zircon age obtained in China until now. How to obtain highprecision UPb zircon ages of very young geological bodies is also discussed.
