| Abstract: | On the basis of the relationship between the events of deformation, meta-morphism,magmation and sedimentation,the tectonic evolution of cover rocks at the southern part of West-Hill, Beijing, has been described. It can be seen that in the deformation series, which may be divided into ten generations, the transformation of tectonic regimes from extension to compression can be recognized, which occurred at least five times in the studied area. According to this analysis, an ideal model of geological evolution in a metamorphic -deformation cycle is suggested. |
