| Abstract: | The paper describes the basic characteristics of the neotectonics by studying the deformation in Quaternary series and Cretaceous-Tertiary "red series" , basin and range landscape, features of the drainage pattern under the control of active faults, Cenozoic magmation and modern earthquake. Then the dynamic mechanism of neotectonics in this region is analysed on the basis of the feature of hypogene tectonics and the transformational process of the tectonic stress field. |
