| Abstract: | According to the real condition of stress and drainage, a general expression for the calculation of shear strength of foundation soil is presented.The calculation formula of shear strength and the deviation of calculating and measuring by normal methods are also discussed under the different conditions of undrained, partly consolidated undrained and partly drained in the process of shear. |
