Abstract:Combined with the multivariate prospecting information on geology, geophysics, geochemistry and remote sensing etc., through the multi-information discovery, extraction, transformation and association, and use the information integration technology to establish comprehensive regional information mineral prediction model for the quantitative assessment of mineral resources is one important way of information prospecting in the mineral resources exploration field. Starting from the geological background and 7 known sediment metanorphic-type iron deposits(occurrences) of the study area, this paper combined with field check analysis to establish the metallogenic model and favorable extraction model, and based on the ArcGIS platform to establish the spatial database, through the comprehensive analysis of multi-information and carrying out comprehensive assessment for each ore control factors, then obtained the main ore control factors which depends on three aspects: (1) the sedimentary strata; (2) the favorable geochemical anomalies (Fe elements); (3) the favorable geophysical anomaly (the original plane), according to the spatial relationship between the three aspects evidences layers and the known ore mine in overlay- composite analysis, based on the evidence weight model and weighted logistic regression model to make metallogenic beneficial degree evaluation, and to narrow the scope of prospecting by the remotely sensed alteration information, three sediment metanorphic-type iron forecast area were delineated, then the results show that the western segment of the East Kunlun has a good prospecting future.
