摘    要:第四纪最突出的事件是青藏高原和南海海盆的形成和演化。众多中外学者几乎一致认为,青藏高原的形成是由于印度克拉通向北的推动,南海等西太平洋边缘海是在太平洋板块和菲律宾海板块向西俯冲的过程中形成的。笔者另辟蹊径,提出,由于新生代(尤其是第四纪)以来两个相互交切的东亚断裂和南亚断裂的深部物理运动,使得南海等西太平洋边缘海地区的陆壳物质被逐渐吸入地幔,经转化为“幔源壳质”以后,再不断输送、补充给青藏地区。其结果必然是,南海等西太平洋边缘海地区的陆壳迅速转化为过渡型壳甚至洋壳,青藏地区则由洋壳转化为陆壳,并迅速隆起、增厚。

Abstract:The most outstanding events were the formation and evolution of Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and South Sea basin in Quaternary period. Many home and abroad experts considered the basic reason subduction of Indian and Pacific Plate to Eurasian Plate, the dynamical mechanism of driving plate is mantle convection. However, the author considered that the plate or terrane hypothesis can not explain the formation of Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and South Sea basin after studying Asia hot-structure and the origin of South China granites and super large gold deposits.The fact that staurolite-bearing diamond crystal was found in Swaziland showed that the crustal materials can enter into the deep mantle and recycle to the crust. The discovery confirmed the author's suspect of many years. Continental crust materials of West Pacific marginal sea including South Sea had been fored to absorb by the mantle, and had been transported to Qinghai-Xizang region by convection since Cenozoic era (especially Quaternary period). Thus, West Pacific area was changed from continental crust to transitional crust and oceanic crust, but Qinghai-Xizang region was changed from oceanic crust to continental crust.Supposing that Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and South Sea basin are two different geotectonic unites in nature, their structural control in bigger scale and deeper level is the deep physical movement between intersected East Asia and South Asia faults since the late Mesozoic era.NNE East Asia fault is an earthquake belt, and also a diamond and polymetallic ore belt. Its southern part extends into South Sea, passing through Wuling mountain,Taihang mountain, Daxinganling, acrossing Far-East in Russia until the Arctic. The differential movement of fault had been accelerated, which was of three-grade uplift in west (mountainous region~Yungui Plateau~Qinghai-Xizang Plateau) and of three-grade subsidence in east (plain and basin~marginal sea~deep trench).South Asia fault cross Mediterranean in west(well-known mercury polymetallic ore belt), passing through Qinghai-Xizang Plateau (maybe under Yaluzangbujiang chromium, gold, copper polymetallic ore belt), and enter into South Sea along Ailao mountain and Honghe. In the Quaternary period, the northern continental crust had been thickened and uplift quickly, forming mountains and plateaus, while the southern continental crust thined quickly and even changed into oceanic crust in some places (i. e. center ocean basin of South Sea), and forming hills, plains and deep seas.Four quadrants are separated by East Asia and South Asia faults, they are:I(NE), II(SE), III(SW) and IV(NW). Because the western part of East Asia fault and the northern part of South Asia fault are positive direction, uplift movement, denoted (+); because the eastern part of East Asia fault and the southern part of South Asia fault are negative, subsidence movement, denoted (-), the movement in four quadrants is given by: Hence, Qinghai-Xizang region is the most great uplift, hot-structure and hot-spot area of the world, South Sea region is the most great subsidence,cold-structure and cold-spot area.Because of the deep physical movements between the intersected East Asia and South Asia faults, the mantle in the West Pacific marginal Sea region (especially South Sea) absorbed continental crust materials above it, which had been changed into mantle-derived materials was transported to Qinghai-Xizang Plateau by convection, which was changed from oceanic crust into continental crust and rapidly thickened, uplift. The West Pacific marginal sea (especiallly South Sea) was rapidly changed into transitional crust even into oceanic crust due to lossing continental crust materials gradually.
