数字地球及其在全球变化研究中的应用前景

摘    要:本文介绍了对“数字地球”的不同学术理解和当前国内外数字地球发展重点领域或方向,展望了“数字地球”在全球变化研究中的应用前景,指出在第四纪环境演变研究中要重视广泛应用对地观测技术,建立数据库,进而阐明全球变化的区域响应过程,揭示区域和全球变化过程中人与自然在其中的作用程度,为可持续发展模式的建立提供科学依据。

Abstract:This paper reviews the different academic comprehension of "Digital Earth" and the present main development fields and direchons of Digital Earth in home and abroad, and forecasts the applicahon prospects in the study of global change. The paper also indicates that the Earth observahon technology should be paid more attenhon to the study of Quaternary environmental change, and the database should be developed. Furthermore, the regional response process of global change is clarified. Finally, the human and nature impacts in the global change process are dishngtushed to provide the scientific basis of the development of the sustrinable development mode. "Digital Earth" is a digital observation, survey and fichhous simulahon system in global scale. The content of "Cigital Earth" is divided into the basic study and the technological development and application. "Digital Earth" has the wide application prospects in global change including the understanding of natural zone and land use / cover change regulahon of earth surface in global scale, the regulation of the global crust movement structure and the surface substances movement the regulahon ofseawater movement and seawater environmental quality change, and the developmentof dynarnic system of earth surface change process based on the digital model. Now the development of "Digital Earth" technology has an excellent opportunity, but thelargest obstacle of the technological use of Chgital Earth is data share and data development. So, the development of improving data share policy is the most urgent matter when the security of the respective countries and regions is assured. Under the principle of resouree share, the development of Ugital Earth technology needs the cooperahon of academic circles, business circles and polihcians.
