摘    要:本文统计了中国黄土地层中发现的哺乳动物化石并对一些发现较丰富哺乳动物化石的黄土剖面进行了磁性地层学研究,分析了磁性地层与生物地层对比结果,讨论了黄土层中哺乳动物化石的时空分布,以及有关气候环境问题。

Abstract:Some loess sections, abundant in Mammalia fossils in China,have been studied by paleomagnetism. Based on the comparison between magnetostratigraphy and biotratigraphy, Mammalian fossil statistics and their temporal and spatial distributions in loess and the related climate and environments have been discussed in this paper.1 Comparative study of Magnetostratigraphy and Biostratigraghy in typical loess section comparison between magnetostratigraphy and biostratigraphy was conducted,based on Magnetostratigraphic study in some loess section, such as Luochuan,Wucheng, Yangguo, Lantian, Jingyang, Heshui. Besides Rodentia, Lynx shansius,Ursus sp., Sus lydekkeri, Nyctereute sinensis, living in forest environments or jungle,are common fossils in the strata developed before Olduval polarity subchron (1.67Ma B.P.) in Luochuan and Wucheng sections, reflecting the relative warm and humid dimate during the early early-Pleistocene. Yangguo and Gongwangling fauna, 1. 00~0. 90Ma B.P. and 1.15MaB.P. respectively, are the represents of Mammalian fauna of the late-Pleistocene. The fossils discovered in Yangguo section, including Proboscidipparion sinensis, Equus sanmeniensis, Gazella sp., indicate jungle-prairie environments. And the fossils found in Gonwangling section, including Ailuropoda melanoleuca forealis, Stegodon orientalis, reflect subtropical climate environments. The represent of Mammalian fauna in the mid-Pleistocene, 0. 65Ma B. P., is Chenjiawo Fauna. During the stage, some Rodentia, such as Myospalax tingi, M. fonanieri, Lepus wongi, were frequently found in loess layers, which do show the dry prairie climate in the earlier stage. Meriones sp. and Struthilithus sp., discovered in Jingyuan section and Wucheng section, indicate much drier desert environments in the late-Pleistocene.2 The distributive features of the Mammalian fossils in Chinese Loess and ecological environments mirroredWith monontonous species, the rate of Lagomorpha in the northwest part of the Loess Plateau is greater than that in the southeast part. The main elements in the northwest are Meriones sp., M. fontanieri and Ochotona dauurica. While the rate of large-figured Ungulates and Carnivora in the northwest are less than in the south.All the above evidence reveal the difference of climates and environments between the north and south parts of the Loess Plateau-the climate of north was far too drier than that of south.
