| Abstract: | The ability conditions for gas hydrates and their effects on drilling process were analyzed. The control strategy of mud and the techniques of sampling and/or coring used in gas hydrate drilling also were discussed. Meanwhile the pressure core sampler used by ODP was introduced. |
