| Abstract: | Spark-source mass spectrometric analysis of pyrolyzed Green River oil shale for trace element distribution showed enhanced concentrations for only lithium and beryllium. In general, trace elemental concentrations were found to be below anticipated crustal amounts. There appears to be no promise of any substantial accumulation of any trace elements within the organic matrix of Green River oil shale. |
