| Abstract: | Land desertification in Xiajin couty stands out of all the environmental problems. In dry season, wind sands flow frequently. Eroded farm land is the major type of desertified lands. For controlling land desertification, the key approaches are increasing plant cover through improving preventing forest system rationally, using land resources rationally through developing economic forest, intercropping fruit grain and fruit cotton etc. |
