| Abstract: | A concise response to Smalley's discussion of my 'Call for Australian loess' paper ( Haberlah 2007 , Area 39 224–9) elaborating on past and possible future Australian contributions to the international loess debate. The suggested idea of dividing loess into three separate categories 'glacial loess', 'desert loess' and 'mountain loess' is questioned by emphasising common links. |
