| 摘 要： | 从数字化地形资料中自动提取山脊线和山谷线的技术,在测绘、工程设计等方面有着重要的意义。本文对地形流水模拟法提取山脊线和山谷线的方法进行深入研究后,提出利用共轭地表曲面的概念实现自动提取算法山谷线和山脊线的方法,并设计出了基于共轭地表曲面的地形流水模拟法自动提取算法山谷线和山脊线的算法。文后通过实验验证了该方法的有效性,它所提取的山脊线和山谷线与实际地形相符合。

| Abstract: | Ridge and valley are skeleton lines that indicate significant topographic features of the terrain.It is widely used in the fields of surveying and mapping,topography representation and engineering designing.Nowadays,with the wide use of computer in the fields,automatic extraction of ridge and valley from DEM plays an important part in the related areas.Drainage networks analysis method is a commonly used method for extraction of ridge and valley from DEM.In this paper,authors conclude that the method is inconvenient to the extraction of ridge after investigating into the method deeply.And a new method is put forward.The new method uses a conjugate terrain in aid of the extraction of ridge.Because a ridge of terrain is a valley in its conjugate terrain,extraction of ridge can be realized by extraction of valley in its conjugate terrain.Experimental result has proven the new method is quite effective and reliable in its identification of ridge and valley. |
