摘    要:本文选取了商业化比较好的基于小波压缩原理的三个压缩软件 ,采用国际上通用的反映压缩影像质量还原精度的 PSNR(最佳峰值信噪比 )法 ,主要从压缩速度、压缩比率、压缩影像的还原质量等几方面对这些压缩软件的性能进行了比较 ,从而为今后更好地使用这些软件提供借鉴。

Abstract:A test of comparison among wavelet based image compressors- ECW Compressor 2.0, MrSID 1.4 and EYACODER is made. The 11 kinds of test data are built according to the given compression ratio 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 50 to compare three wavelet compressors mentioned above in term of compression speed, compression ratio, and the reconstructed image quality. The method of PSNR(peak signal noise ratio) in the paper is taken to compare the difference between the reconstructed and original pixel value. The test result shows that the value of test data of the EYACODER and MrSID 1.4 are better than that of ECW Compressor 2.0 in doing image compression when the given compression ratio is less than 3, and the tendency is getting neutral when the given compression ratio is getting bigger.
