Abstract:We analyzed water depth measurement and introduce the practical scheme of bridge which links Cabinda to Soyo of Zaire Province, Angola. The result shows that water depth is highly complex in the upstream area ofthe bridge xone, there are certain instabilities such as sandbar movement, and rapid changes in water depth. There are no drastic changes in water depth in the downstream area of the bridge site, and the riverbed is quite stable.
