摘    要:介绍了一种面向多媒体类信号传递的基于IP网络的流控传输协议SCTP,讨论了它为提供可靠传服务而采用面向联结机制的主要框架和多路流、多地下两大核心特性;分析了SCTP的消息、状态机和各状态变迁过程,以有在联结的不同阶段为进行拥塞控制和攻击预防而采用的独特的处理机制;给出了SCTP控制和流引擎部分的具体实现策略。

Abstract:This paper describes a new IP transport protocol,the stream control transmission protocol (SCTP),which is at an equivalent layer as UDP (User Datagram Protocol) and TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) and especially fit for signaling messages transmission such as multimedia data over IP networks.The infrastructure of the SCTP which enables a reliable transport service through an connection_oriented mechanism is introduced,and the core features of the SCTP,multi_streaming and multi_homing are discussed.In addition,the SCTP message format,state machine and the three main phases in states transferring,and the specific mechanisms to obtain appropriate congestion avoidance and resistance to flooding and masquerade attacks during these phases are analyzed.Finally,the details of the implementation of SCTP are presented.
