Abstract:GML is an international standard, it solves the spatial data sharing problem perfectly. For the existing GML indexing technologies, Quad Tree indexing technique has a high efficeency. In order to diminish spatial data redundancy, the traditional indexing method had been amended.Then LINQ and joining spatial operation methods had been used to support GML query operation. The experiment proves that the improved traditional Quad Tree has raised the performerce of the GML indexing technique efficientcy.
