Abstract:Due to some defects such as complex operation and large errors of the traditional artificial wire alignment transducers,and under consideration of the needs in observation for dam deformation,a new style of mechanical wire alignment transducer has been developed.The test results indicate that observation accuracy and resolution of the new transducer reaches 0.05 mm and 0.02 mm respectively.Moreover,the new transducer has advantage of large measuring range,higher precision and easy to use.
