| 摘 要： | 广西大新下雷锰矿是在１９５８年大办钢铁时期由当地村干部赵承祥误为铁矿石而发现的，同年１０月经地质人员颜锦生等到现场检查确认为锰矿石。从１９５８年１１月起至１９９０年底止，历经南宁专署地质局９０３队，广西地质局４２４队、广西第二地质队、广西第四地质队断续地进行找矿勘查工作，探明了锰矿石总储量１３３７８万吨，其中放电性锰矿石５５６万吨，氧化锰矿石１２１０万吨，碳酸锰矿石１１６１２万吨，证实为一特大型锰矿床。因此，广西第二地质队于１９８０年被地质部授予功勋队称号，而广西第四地质队于１９８５年荣获全国地矿系统找矿成果一等奖。现在已建成广西大新锰矿，一座新兴的矿山城镇耸立在桂西南山谷中。

| Abstract: | Xialei manganese ore deposit in Daxin county, Guangxi, was discovered by a local village cadrenamed Zhao Chengxiang who misundersted the mangnese ore as iron ore during the poried ofpromoting iron preduction in 1958. In October of the same year, Yan Jinsheng (a geologicalworker) et al., went there to examine the ore and determined the ore as manganese ore. FromNovember of 1958 to the end of 1990, No. 903 party of Nanning prefectural geological bureau,No. 424 party of Guangxi geological bureau, No. 2 geological party of Guangxi. No. 4 geologicalparty of Guangxi, successively did exploration work and proved that Xiaiei manganese ore depositwas 133. 78 million tons of manganese ore in reserve, including 5. 56 million tons of batterymanganese ore, 12. 1 million tons of oxidized manganese ore and 116. 12 million tons of mangnesecarbonate ore. So, Xialei manganese ore depeit is a suporlarge-scale manganese ore depoit. Hence ,No. 2 geological party of Guangxi was awarded meritorous party by the Ministry of geology andmineral resources,No. 4 geological party of Guangxi was awarded the first prize for prospoctingachievements of the whole national system of geology and mineral resources. Daxin manganese minehas been built now, a new-built mine town standing in the valley of southwest Guangxi. |
