Abstract:	Approximation formulas are found for $\dot x(0)$ and $\dot x(1)$ , wherex(t) satisfies $\ddot x = f(x,t)$ ,x(0)=x ₀,x(1)=x ₁. The results are applied to an example of two-body motion.
