An increasing number of high Concrete-Faced Rockfill Dams (CFRDs) have been and are being built in highly seismic hazardous regions. Because there are few examples, the failure mechanisms for each damaged CFRD still remain unclear, which prevents a rational evaluation of aseismic performance of a CFRD. In this paper, a series of large-scale shaking table tests are conducted to determine the dynamic failure modes of CFRDs, especially the failure mechanism of the face slab. A type of model slab material is developed according to similitude rules. Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) is used and improved to track the motion of each grain and subsequently measure the entire velocity field of the deforming cross-sections of dam models. The failure processes of the dams, the failure mechanisms of the slab fractures and the slab dislocations are discussed based on the experimental results. The experiments indicate that large deformations of the uppermost part of the dam caused the face slab to curve upward and crack. Another important fracture morphology of the face slab is the dislocation of its joint. The change in the granular fabric caused the granular slope to slide down and thrust outward, eventually dragging the upper half of the face slab down against its lower half; this motion is accompanied by the formation of a joint dislocation. Therefore, the stability and anti-deformation ability of both the downstream slope and the crest region of the upstream slope should be improved to withstand earthquake. The results of the shaking table model tests are consistent with the numerical simulation, and both results support the prototype dam׳s seismically induced failure characteristics.  相似文献

为研究地震波斜入射对高面板坝地震反应的影响,根据地震波动入射理论,采用FORTRAN进行波动荷载的编程计算,并与大型通用有限元软件ADINA相结合,实现基于黏弹性人工边界的地震波斜入射,研究P波和SV波分别以不同角度入射对高面板堆石坝地震反应的影响。结果表明,地震波斜入射时大坝地震动反应与垂直入射时明显不同,常规垂直入射的结果偏于不安全,因此在高面板坝地震反应分析和抗震设计中应考虑地震波斜入射的影响。  相似文献

Seismic ground motions of two neighboring mountains and the free surface between them are calculated under the SV seismic waves with three different incident angles. The results are then taken as the inputs of multi-point seismic excitations for the foundation of a long-span bridge built over the valley in the analysis considering the integrated influence of traveling wave and topography. On the basis of a dynamic analytical method, a finite element model is created for the seismic responses of a four-span rigid-frame bridge of 440 m. The pier-top displacement and the pier-bottom internal force of the bridge are calculated. Then the results are compared with those considering traveling-wave effect only. The conclusions can serve as a seismic design reference for the structures located on the complex mountain topography.  相似文献

以一座主跨为820 m的双塔非对称单侧混合梁斜拉桥为研究对象,对其进行动力特性分析。运用相对运动法进行多点激励地震响应计算,分析行波效应对塔顶、主梁、塔底等关键位置动力响应的影响,同时对比分析入射角方向(即斜拉桥两侧相对方向)对其动力响应的影响。结果表明:与一致激励分析结果相比,多点激励使得主塔内力结果偏小,而使得主梁内力结果偏大;不同入射角地震激励对非对称大跨度斜拉桥的内力也会产生较大影响,内力变化可达20%。因此,在进行该类型非对称混合梁斜拉桥设计中,应考虑非一致激励效应和地震动输入方向的影响因素。  相似文献

Two of China's highest earth-core rock-fill dams (ECRDs) and concrete-faced rock-fill dams (CFRDs) were simulated by large-scale earthquake simulation shaking table tests in this work. A series of staged tests were performed, including white noise, different types of earthquake excitations with different magnitudes etc. The seismic performance of the ECRD and CFRD models were analyzed and investigated. The test results indicated that reservoir impoundment influenced the structure and seismic characteristics of the ECRD model much more than the CFRD model. The average fundamental frequency of the CFRD decreased less than the ECRD model when subjected to strong excitation. The acceleration amplification factors decreased as the input peak acceleration increased. The maximum acceleration occurred at the top of the ECRD model, while it occurred at 0.6–0.9 dam height of the CFRD model. Seismic residual deformations of the two models were very small. When subjected to strong earthquake excitation, the residual deformation of the CFRD model was smaller than that of the ECRD model. The dominant failure pattern of the two models was shallow sliding at the height of 3/4 on the downstream slope. The above analysis indicated that seismic performance of CFRD was superior to ECRD.  相似文献

在高应力状态下坝料的流变较为明显。为研究坝料流变对混凝土面板坝应力变形的影响,采用长科院九参数幂级数流变模型及其试验参数,对某高混凝土面板堆石坝进行应力、变形分析。结果表明,坝料流变使坝体变形明显增加,坝体应力有所减小。考虑坝料的流变特性后的面板法向位移(挠度)明显增加,面板坝轴向和顺坡向应力极值增加。对于分期浇筑面板和分期蓄水的高混凝土面板堆石坝,选用合适的流变本构模型正确地模拟堆石体的流变特性,可以为大坝填筑进度及面板分期浇筑时间的确定提供参考,并有助于正确地预测大坝的应力变形。  相似文献

以某大跨公路拱桥为例讨论了行波作用对拱桥地震反应的影响机理.采用有限元程序计算分析了该拱桥在竖向地震动行波输入和一致输入下的动力反应,通过结果对比反映出行波地震反应并不简单随波速单调变化的现象.经过分析进一步提出了行波共振的概念,阐述了行波共振效应的产生机理.数值分析结果表明了考虑行波效应对大跨拱桥地震反应分析的重要性.  相似文献

The Zipingpu Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam (CFRD) was obviously damaged during the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008. A wide range of dislocations occurred along the horizontal construction joints at EL. 845m, between the face slabs constructed in the second and third stages. The maximum displacement of the dislocations reached 17cm. In this study, the slab dislocations were investigated using finite element (FE) analysis. The method based on strain potential was applied to compute the permanent deformation of the Zipingpu Dam during the Wenchuan earthquake. The calculated magnitude of the slab dislocation showed good agreements with the field measurements. The dislocation mechanism was discussed. The results show that the dislocation of the concrete slab is a subsequent damage after the permanent deformation of the rockfill materials. The effects of the shear strength and the direction of the construction joints, the reservoir water level and the seismic waves were studied. The shear strength and the direction of the construction joints, reservoir water level and have a significant effect on the dislocation displacement. The dislocation can be effectively reduced by measures such as changing the direction of the construction joints or improving the shear strength at the horizontal joints.  相似文献

本文对某特大跨上承式铁路钢管混凝土拱桥建立“V”型河谷场地有限元动力计算模型,结合时空解耦的时域动力有限元方法,研究“V”型河谷场地效应对其地震响应的影响,并考虑地震入射角、行波速度及地震动峰值等因素对场地效应的影响。结果表明:海拔高且坡度均匀的地形使地震波在反射过程中能量增大,海拔较低且坡度下陡上缓的地形使地震波在反射过程中能量减少,“V”型河谷场地效应使大部分钢管混凝土拱圈截面内力测量值放大作用明显;“V”型河谷场地地形效应与地震波的入射角、行波速度及加速度峰值等因素均有关联,且CFST拱肋面外受弯抗震性能受行波速度的影响较大。因此,钢管混凝土拱桥抗震设计中应注意场地地形效应及行波速度的影响。  相似文献

斜拉桥地震反应不同于其它桥型,具有明显的空间耦合效应.利用有限元理论对苏通长江公路大桥的空间抗震性能进行分析,重点研究行波效应对结构响应的影响,并与一致激励计算的结果进行比较,为大跨度斜拉桥抗震分析采用随机方法提供了一定的参考依据.研究结果表明,行波效应对斜拉桥结构内力有显著的影响,大跨度斜拉桥抗震性能分析必须考虑行波效应.而行波效应的影响与结构自身动力特性、视波速、构件位置及研究响应类型(位移与内力)相关.  相似文献

The seismic behavior of tall concrete face rockfill dams in narrow canyons is investigated, based on numerical simulation of the staged construction, creep settlements, reservoir impoundment and seismic shaking of the dam. The study takes into account the flexibility of the canyon rock, the hydrodynamic effects and potential dynamic rockfill settlements. The static analysis uses a hyperbolic model for the rockfill, whereas the dynamic analysis uses a nonlinear hysteretic model, which accounts for the initial dynamic stiffness and produces hysteresis loops in agreement with the experimental data regarding the shear modulus and damping ratio. A damage plasticity model is used for the reinforced concrete, whereas frictional contact behavior is considered at the base and vertical walls of the concrete slab panels. An existing 150-m-high dam is used to investigate some key issues on the seismic behavior of such dams subjected to upstream−downstream and vertical excitation. Emphasis is placed on the evaluation of the tensile stresses within the slab panels, the compressive stresses at the slab-to-slab vertical interfaces and the opening of the joints. Moreover, the effect of potential dynamic settlements on both the slab stresses and joint openings is investigated. Recommendations for increasing the dam safety and reducing the water leakage through the dam body are given.  相似文献

为了研究海沟型巨大地震发生机制及其构造动力学特征,详细研究了地震活动与震源机制结果,根据地震俯冲带几何形状及其内应力场区域特征,南海海槽下的俯冲带可划分为两段: 东部的四国-纪伊半岛段和西部的九州段. 东部的菲律宾海板块地震俯冲带呈现出低角度俯冲(10°~22°),且俯冲深度相当浅(60~85km)的特征;而西部九州段的俯冲带为高角度俯冲(40°),且俯冲深度较深(160km). 东、西部俯冲带内部应力场也截然不同. 东部的四国大部分地区和纪伊半岛的俯冲带内表现为俯冲压缩型应力场, 而西部的九州段则为明显的俯冲拉张型应力场. 本文在综合分析了重力异常、GPS、热流量等地球物理观测结果后指出,南海海槽东部, 即四国-纪伊半岛以南的海槽区域, 具有与智利海沟极其相似的地震发生板块构造动力学背景和高应力积累等特征, 属于年轻活动俯冲带的高应力型俯冲. 而西部的九州段,虽然也是海沟型地震活动区, 但不具有大地震发生的构造动力学背景和高应力积累, 不属于年轻活动俯冲带的高应力型俯冲. 俯冲带年龄的不同很可能是造成南海海槽东、西段板块构造动力学以及应力场不同的根本原因之一.  相似文献

考虑地震波以有限波速传播时所引起的地震行波效应,基于建立的高压输电塔-线体系空间有限元模型,利用在多点输入下考虑几何非线性的动力时程分析法,研究了体系纵向地震作用下的反应特性,并和一致地震动输入下的反应情况进行比较。结果表明:行波输入既可以增加又可以降低输电塔的地震反应,这与行波波速、地震动性质、输电塔档距以及输电塔-线体系中导(地)线的松紧程度有关;行波输入使导(地)线跨中竖向位移增加十分明显,但使导(地)线跨中纵向位移减小,同时行波输入使导(地)线的轴力增加十分明显。由此得出结论:高压输电塔-线体系地震反应受行波波速影响很大,考虑地震行波效应的影响是十分必要的。  相似文献

Longitudinal vibrations of concrete-faced rockfill dams may cause significant compressive stresses and joint openings in the slab panels. The behavior of such dams subjected to longitudinal and vertical vibrations is investigated, based on numerical simulation of the staged construction, reservoir impoundment and seismic shaking. The static analysis uses a hyperbolic model for the rockfill, whereas the seismic analysis uses a nonlinear hysteretic model which accounts for the dynamic properties. A damage plasticity model is used for the reinforced concrete and frictional contact behavior is considered at the base and vertical sides of the concrete panels. The seismic analysis takes into account the flexibility of the canyon rock and potential dynamic rockfill settlements. An existing 150 m–high dam is used to investigate the effect of longitudinal vibrations on the compressive stresses near the slab-to-slab vertical interfaces and the opening of the joints. The effect of dynamic settlements is examined and comparisons are made to the response from upstream/downstream and combined vibrations. The effectiveness of introducing 5 cm-wide cuts at selected vertical joints to reduce slab compression in existing CFRDs is demonstrated. The presented results offer useful insight into the effect of longitudinal vibrations on the seismic behavior of CFRDs.  相似文献

基于简化的波速结构,利用二维伪谱法研究了俯冲带不同位置震源激发的地震波的传播特征.发现当俯冲板块中存在6%的低速异常时,直达P波和直达S波之间存在波阵面近平面的易于识别的P-S转换震相,其传播方向不因震源位置偏离低速层的中心而改变.对于低速层的边界存在±2 km的随机起伏、低速层为楔形、周围介质为水平分层模型这三种情况,这组震相仍然清晰可辨.对于150 km长度的橄榄石楔,模拟结果显示仍然能在一定震中距范围内接收到这一震相.因此,可以尝试用这组震相来探测俯冲带亚稳态橄榄石的存在状态.  相似文献

产生地震动空间效应的主要原因是地质构造的变化会极大地改变复杂场地条件下到达不同观测点的地震波,因此地震波振幅和相位发生明显变化。本文利用有限元和边界元耦合的方法,通过建立雷克子波入射时的非线性响应模型求解复杂场地条件下的波动积分方程,进行复杂近地表构造中地震波场数值模拟,旨在分析复杂场地条件下入射方向不同的地震波的动力响应规律。研究结果显示近地表会极大地改变地震波传播特征,导致地震波传播趋向不一致性的因素是由于复杂场地条件重建了地震波的传播路径,尤其须指出的是非一致性地表位移响应源于软土层中低频子波的传播。在地震响应分析中导致系统不同动力响应的其他原因是主频和地震波速度结构的改变,同时地震波入射角度的改变会引起到达观测点的时间滞后,地表位移响应随着入射角度的增大而增加,地震动的空间效应随着入射角度的减小而愈趋明显。  相似文献
