本文在已揭示的夏季(6、7、8月)海洋与冬季(12、1、2月)大气的热力遥相关联系的基础上,通过参数化形成了相应的数学模型,从夏季6月海洋与冬季1月大气的热力预报方程出发,分析了海气非同步影响函数的时间变异性,确定了数学模型的稳定性,由此进行了北半球500hPa月平均大气非绝热热流量距平、温度距平的长期预报试验。非独立和独立预报表明:利用海气热力遥相关的长期天气预报方法具有一定的预报能力和潜力。  相似文献

本文综述了北极海注面积变化与大气遥相关型研究工作中的一些主要结果。诊断分析表明,北极海冰面积变化具有3-4年的振荡周期,大气中的遥相关型不仅与海冰面积变化的区域有关,还与海冰面积的振荡频率有关。海冰面积变化与大气遥相关型是互相维持的,一方的加强有利于另一方的加强,本文最后还对北极海冰和赤道中,东太平洋海温对北半年冬半年中纬度大气环流影响的相似性等问题进行了讨论。  相似文献

Through observational analyses,an inter-hemispheric teleconnection is identified between the subtropical region of the South China Sea to the western Pacific near the Philippines(WP)and the region to the east of Australia(AE).The teleconnection is significantly correlated with sea surface temperature anomalies(SSTAs)in key sea areas(including the Indian Ocean,the South China Sea,and the area to the east of Australia).Based on the IAP T42L9 model,numerical experiments are performed to explore a possible mechanism for the formation of the teleconnection.The results show that the positive SST anomalies in the key sea areas may jointly contribute to the occurrence and maintenance of the positive geopotential height anomalies over both the WP and AE and be a critical factor in the teleconnection formation.The large-scale SST anomaly in the Indian Ocean,involving the tropics and subtropics of both hemispheres,may lead to concurrent atmospheric responses over both the WP and AE,while the effect of the local SST anomaly to the east of Australia seems to reinforce and maintain the positive height anomaly over the AE.  相似文献

The observational data of global sea surface temperature and the 500 hPa geopotential height field in the Northern Hemisphere are used to get two teleconnection patterns. The time interval of the data is from January 1950 to December 1979. The results show that the sea surface temperature anomalies in the Indian Ocean have evident positive correlation with the SSTA in the eastern Pacific and obvious teleconnection with the 500 hPa geopotential height field in the Northern Hemisphere.  相似文献

热带太平洋SST异常对IAP-9 LAGCM 年际变率影响的模拟   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
通过1960~1989年实测的热带太平洋(30.5°N~30.5°S,120°E~70°W)SST(热带太平洋区域以外用气候平均值)强迫AGCM得到的结果,以此来研究热带SST的变化对全球大气环流年际变化的影响。首先,我们分析了南方涛动,分别给出了Tahiti和Darwin海平面气压异常及赤道附近(-5°S~5°N)外逸长波辐射(OLR)时间演变,都能很好与观测相比较。然后,讨论了全球大气环流对热带SST的变化的响应,全球主要的遥相关型都能很好地再现。最后,通过奇异值分解(SVD)技术研究了热带SST与冬季北半球500 hPa位势高度主要的耦合型,模拟的相关型与NCEP再分析资料的相关型非常相似。  相似文献

The climate modeling community has been challenged to develop a method for improving the simulation of the Pacific-North America (PNA) teleconnection pattern in climate models. The accuracy of PNA teleconnection simulation is significantly improved by considering mesoscale convection contributions to sea surface fluxes. The variation in the PNA over the past 22 years was simulated by the Grid Atmospheric Model of IAP LASG version 1.0 (GAMIL1.0) model, which was guided by observational sea surface temperature (SST) from January 1979 to December 2000. Results show that heating in the tropical central-eastern Pacific is simulated more realistically, and sea surface latent heat flux and precipitation anomalies are more similar to the reanalysis data when mesoscale enhancement is considered during the parameterization scheme of sea surface turbulent fluxes in GAMIL1.0. Realistic heating in the tropical central-eastern Pacific in turn significantly improves the simulation of interannual variation and spatial patterns of PNA.  相似文献

用奇异值分解(Singular Value Decomposition,SVD)方法,给出了四季年代际和年际时间尺度上北大西洋和北太平洋海表温度(Sea Surface Temperature,SST)的显著遥相关.用SVD主模态时间系数构造了海温异常指数Ⅰ,分析了它们与同期亚太夏季风和我国东部夏季降水异常的关系.结果表明:两大洋间的SST遥联在年际、年代际时间尺度上都与亚太夏季风相关,其中,年际尺度的两大洋SST遥联与长江流域的降水存在显著相关.  相似文献

利用1960—2000年青藏高原54个常规气象观测站的年平均地面气温资料,考察了高原气温的空间分布和气候变异特征;利用同期印度洋海温资料和奇异值分解方法,着重研究了青藏高原气温与印度洋海温之间的遥相关关系,并初步探讨了物理机制问题。分析结果表明:在空间分布上,青藏高原气温中部低,四周高,41年来呈逐步上升趋势,振幅不断加大;高原气温与印度洋海温之间存在显著的主要遥相关模态,这与印度洋海温异常激发遥相关波列影响到高原气温有关。  相似文献

Using observations covering the last 128 years we show that apparent changes in El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) teleconnections can be explained by chance and stem from sampling variability. This result is backed by experiments in which an atmosphere model is driven by 123 years of observed sea surface temperature. The possibility of ENSO teleconnection changes in a warming climate is further investigated using coupled GCMs driven by past and projected future greenhouse gas concentrations. These runs do not exclude physical changes in the teleconnection strength but do not agree on their magnitude and location. If existing at all, changes in the strength of ENSO teleconnection, other than obtained by chance, are small and will only be detectable on centennial time scales.  相似文献
