本文从能源问题与勘探问题的密切关系出发,提出进行深入的非线性波研究的必要性——进一步提供可靠而详实的地质资料,以解决实际地质问题.说明了非线性科学与非线性波动的关系和特点,非线性波动是非线性科学的一个重要的分支,而地球本身的特点也决定了非线性科学是解决地质问题的重要基础.回顾了波动理论的研究历程及当今国内外非线性研究的进展情况.通过上述认识,提出了非线性波动问题中能量的重要性,然后分别从震源与冲击波的形成,界面处的能量分配,介质中能量的衰减,波的相互作用四个方面讨论了非线性波的能量问题.通过对能量问题的讨论,进一步讨论了影响非线性波能量的因素.从能量的角度出发,探讨了以后进行固体中非线性波研究的重点.最后对非线性波在地学应用中的可能性进行了探讨.  相似文献

Nonlinear fastest growing perturbation, which is related to the nonlinear singular vector and nonlinear singular value proposed by the first author recently, is obtained by numerical approach for the two-dimensional quasigeostrophic model in this paper. The difference between the linear and nonlinear fastest growing perturbations is demonstrated. Moreover, local nonlinear fastest growing perturbations are also found numerically. This is one of the essential differences between linear and nonlinear theories, since in former case there is no local fastest growing perturbation. The results show that the nonlinear local fastest growing perturbations play a more important role in the study of the first kind of predictability than the nonlinear global fastest growing perturbation.  相似文献

Cable net facades are widely used as a new kind of glazing system and have many advantages, such as pleasing esthetics and easy constructability. With the characteristics of low stiffness, light weight, and small damping, cable net facades are obviously geometrically nonlinear, and the response spectrum method may have some limitations in the seismic design of cable net façades. Therefore, the nonlinear vibration differential equation and natural frequency of the cable net subject to earthquakes was deduced, and then the geometrically nonlinear single-degree of freedom model was founded. Second, with the geometrically nonlinear single-degree of freedom model, the nonlinear seismic response of the cable net was calculated with the time history method subject to four groups of site conditions, and the nonlinear response spectra were founded. Third, the linear and nonlinear acceleration and displacement spectra were compared thoroughly. Lastly, shaking table tests were conducted to verify the accuracy of the nonlinear response spectra.  相似文献

Published frequency-domain solutions of periodic flow in aquifers apply strictly to mathematically linear systems that arise when aquifer diffusivity is assumed constant in space and time. This assumption can be invalid in phreatic aquifers that experience spatiotemporal variation in the free surface position and consequent variation in saturated thickness. A weakly nonlinear approach to formulating and solving periodic flow problems in the frequency domain can be applied in situations where conventional linearized approximations break down. The weakly nonlinear equations provide robust approximations of the true nonlinear response and require much less computational effort and time to solve than the full nonlinear problem. Nondimensional rules of thumb are presented for choosing between linear, weakly nonlinear and nonlinear solution strategies.  相似文献

A novel concept of nonlinear singular vector and nonlinear singular value is introduced, which is a natural generalization of the classical linear singular vector and linear singular value to the nonlinear category. The optimization problem related to the determination of nonlinear singular vectors and singular values is formulated. The general idea of this approach is demonstrated by a simple two-dimensional quasigeostrophic model in the atmospheric and oceanic sciences. The advantage and its applications of the new method to the predictability, ensemble forecast and finite-time nonlinear instability are discussed. This paper makes a necessary preparation for further theoretical and numerical investigations.  相似文献

岩土工程中存在许多不确定性,建筑物抗震规范设计中的标准设计谱实际代表着一种平均结果,并没有考虑到场地土体非线性参数的变异性。文中采用数值模拟的方法研究了土非线性参数变异性对标准设计谱的影响。给出了考虑土非线性参数变异性的概率设计谱。结果表明,土非线性参数变异性对标准设计谱的影响显著;粘性土和无粘性土的动剪切模量比对标准设计谱的影响决定于土非线性参数的概率水准,同时也取决于概率设计谱的频段;烈度7度、8度和9度下土体动剪切模量比变异性使标准设计谱平台最大变化50%、80%和100%,阻尼比变异性使标准设计谱平台最大变化40%、45%和60%。  相似文献

本文采用有限元方法研究基岩上均匀场地中透镜体对地震动的非线性放大作用,分析非线性放大作用和线性放大作用的差别,以及透镜体埋深、宽度、厚度以及输入地震波幅值和频谱等因素对非线性放大作用的影响.研究表明,透镜体的存在对地震动有显著的非线性放大作用,该放大作用可达30%;非线性放大作用一般小于线性放大作用;透镜体宽度对地表加速度反应谱的影响较大,埋深和厚度对地表加速度反应谱的影响较小;输入地震波幅值和频谱也有很大的影响.  相似文献

基于非线性动力学,阐明地震道广义线性反演系统的动力学性质,并以微分动力系统理论分析了反演的数值计算过程及结果.应用混沌控制理论对反演数值计算中的非线性发散进行了讨论,并给出了一种新的控制方案,数值模型实验表明此控制方案对反演中出现的非线性发散能够进行有效控制,反演结果与理论模型完全吻合.在此基础上对大庆某地的地震剖面进行处理,取得了一定的效果.  相似文献

基于静、动统一数值分析方法,建立了考虑土与结构接触效应和材料非线性的地下结构地震反应分析模型,并利用通用有限元软件ANSYS对某地铁地下结构地震反应进行数值模拟,探讨了地下结构的非线性地震反应规律,并分析了材料非线性对地下结构地震反应的影响。结果表明:考虑土与地下结构材料的非线性特性后,地下结构在强地震作用下发生了较大的塑性变形,应力、应变最大值位置发生明显变化,应力、应变状态发生明显改变,而对位移、速度、加速度反应的影响不大。  相似文献

This paper presents a direct displacement-based design procedure for seismic retrofit of existing buildings using nonlinear viscous dampers according to equivalent linear systems. Unlike conventional methods, the equivalent linear viscous damping provided by the nonlinear viscous dampers is derived based on the assumption that the average energy dissipated between the linear and the nonlinear viscous dampers is equal. Also, the equivalent period and viscous damping for the equivalent linear systems which are used for representing the behavior of bare frames (the buildings without dampers) are derived from the concept of average storage energy and average dissipated energy, respectively. It is shown from nonlinear time-history analyses that the nonlinear action of the retrofitted structures can be reasonably captured by the presented direct displacement-based procedure.  相似文献

This study investigates the effect of nonlinear inertia on the dynamic response of an asymmetric building equipped with Tuned Mass Dampers (TMDs). In the field of structural engineering, many researchers have developed models to study the behavior of nonlinear TMDs, but the effect of nonlinear inertia has not received as much attention for asymmetric buildings. To consider nonlinear inertia, the equations of motion are derived in a local rotary coordinates system. The displacements and rotations of the modeled building and TMDs are defined by five-degree-of-freedom (5-DOFs). The equations of motion are derived by using the Lagrangian method. Also in the proposed nonlinear model, the equations of motion are different from a conventional linear model. In order to compare the response of the proposed nonlinear model and a conventional linear model, numerical examples are presented and the response of the modeled buildings are derived under harmonic and earthquake excitations. It is shown that if the nonlinear inertia is considered, the response of the modeled structures changes and the conventional linear approach cannot adequately model the dynamic behavior of the asymmetric buildings which are equipped with TMDs.  相似文献

It is demonstrated that nonlinear Rossby modes, such as modons and IG eddies, can be excited in planetary fluids by a sufficiently strong forcing of potential vorticity. When a weak forcing is balanced with a weak dissipation, two (linear and nonlinear) equilibrium states can be produced, depending on the initial condition. When the fluid is inviscid, a sufficiently strong steady forcing may generate a sequence of propagating nonlinear eddies. A weak forcing, by contrast, only generates linear Rossby waves. The criterion which divides the high amplitude nonlinear state and the low amplitude linear state may be interpreted in terms of a ratio of a time necessary to force the eddy to a time for a fluid particle to circulate about the nonlinear eddy once.  相似文献

Gradient-based nonlinear programming (NLP) methods can solve problems with smooth nonlinear objectives and constraints. However, in large and highly nonlinear models, these algorithms can fail to find feasible solutions, or converge to local solutions which are not global. Evolutionary search procedures in general, and genetic algorithms (GAs) specifically, are less susceptible to the presence of local solutions. However, they often exhibit slow convergence, especially when there are many variables, and have problems finding feasible solutions in constrained problems with “narrow” feasible regions. In this paper, we describe strategies for solving large nonlinear water resources models management, which combine GAs with linear programming. The key idea is to identify a set of complicating variables in the model which, when fixed, render the problem linear in the remaining variables. The complicating variables are then varied by a GA. This GA&LP approach is applied to two nonlinear models: a reservoir operation model with nonlinear hydropower generation equations and nonlinear reservoir topologic equations, and a long-term dynamic river basin planning model with a large number of nonlinear relationships. For smaller instances of the reservoir model, the CONOPT2 nonlinear solver is more accurate and faster, but for larger instances, the GA&LP approach finds solutions with significantly better objective values. The multiperiod river basin model is much too large to be solved in its entirety. The complicating variables are chosen here so that, when they are fixed, each period's model is linear, and these models can be solved sequentially. This approach allows sufficient model detail to be retained so that long-term sustainability issues can be explored.  相似文献
