Detailed geochemistry studies were conducted to investigate the origin of solid bitumens and hydrocarbon gases in the giant Puguang gas field. Two types of solid bitumens were recognized: low sulfur content, low reflectance (LSLR) solid bitumens in sandstone reservoirs in the Xujiahe Formation and high sulfur content, high reflectance (HSHR) solid bitumens in the carbonate reservoirs in the Lower Triassic Feixianguan and Upper Permian Changxing formations. Solid bitumens in the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation correlate well with extracts from the Upper Triassic to Jurassic nonmarine source rocks in isotopic composition of the saturated and aromatic fractions and biomarker distribution. Solid bitumens in the Feixianguan and Changxing formations are distinctly different from extracts from the Cambrian and Silurian rocks but display reasonable correlation with extracts from the Upper Permian source rocks both in isotopic composition of the saturated and aromatic fractions and in biomarker distribution, suggesting that the Permian especially the Upper Permian Longtan Formation was the main source of solid bitumens in the carbonate reservoirs in the Feixianguan and Changxing formations in the Puguang gas field. Chemical and isotopic composition of natural gases indicates that the majority of hydrocarbon gases originated from sapropelic organic matter and was the products of thermal cracking of accumulated oils. This study indicates that source rock dominated by sapropelic organic matter existed in the Upper Permian and had made major contribution to the giant Puguang gas field, which has important implication for petroleum exploration in marine sequences in South China.  相似文献

通过采集青海木里三露天天然气水合物钻孔岩心样品,对该区天然气水合物赋存层段的中侏罗统和上三叠统烃(气)源岩的有机地球化学特征进行了分析。结果显示:研究区中侏罗统和上三叠统烃(气)源岩有机质丰度较高,TOC含量多在0.6%以上,即整体上为中等、好、很好烃源岩;有机质类型两套地层均主要以Ⅱ2型、Ⅲ型为主;两套地层 样品镜质体反射率多数介于0.7%~1.3%之间,只有少部分样品镜质体反射率低于0.7%,故有机质演化整体处于成熟阶段,或处于凝析油阶段,还没有达到湿气和干气阶段,可能只为该区天然气水合物提供一定量的气源条件,其主力气源岩可能来自更深部层系;研究区上三叠统烃(气)源岩有机质成熟度整体不高甚至低于中侏罗统,可能受断层逆推作用而出露地表的影响。  相似文献

在中国元古宙—古生代海相沉积体系中,碳酸盐岩是最主要的沉积岩类型,长期以来研究的重点也一直是碳酸盐岩,对海相泥岩/页岩的关注比较少,并且认为碳酸盐岩是海相沉积盆地中主要的烃源岩。对中国南方上、中、下扬子地区、滇黔桂地区、塔里木盆地、鄂尔多斯盆地、华北地区等147条剖面、289口探井及浅井约11200余个样品有机碳含量的分析与统计表明,泥岩/页岩有机质丰度高,是中国元古宙—古生代海相沉积盆地中主要的烃源岩类型,而碳酸盐岩有机质丰度普遍较低,仅仅是次要的烃源岩类型。海相碳酸盐岩中有机质的含量与碳酸盐含量呈现弱的负相关性,泥质输入有利于形成高有机质丰度的碳酸盐岩烃源岩,但并不是高有机质丰度碳酸盐岩烃源岩发育的必要条件,决定碳酸盐岩烃源岩有机质丰度的主要因素是有机质的生产率、有机质的沉积与保存环境。中国元古宙—古生代海相沉积盆地中并不缺乏高有机质丰度泥岩/页岩类好烃源岩,上、中、下扬子地区主要发育于上震旦统陡山沱组、下寒武统、上奥陶统—下志留统、上二叠统;华南地区主要发育于中、下泥盆统;塔里木盆地主要发育于下寒武统、下奥陶统及中上奥陶统;华北地区为中新元古界洪水庄组、下马岭组。泥灰岩类碳酸盐岩烃源岩在塔里木盆地相对比较发育,在中国南方地区只有下二叠统相对发育。  相似文献

南陵—无为地区包括无为盆地和南陵盆地两个主要构造单元,下三叠统为其重要的烃源岩层位之一,自下而上划分为殷坑组、和龙山组以及南陵湖组。在巢湖平顶山剖面共采集三个组的样品74块。分析结果表明有机质丰度整体偏低(<0.4%),但有三个层段达到了中等—好的烃源岩标准,累计厚度25~30m。该区有机质类型以腐泥型占绝对优势,且烃源岩整体处在成熟热演化阶段。  相似文献

The reported source rocks for the abundant petroleum in the Tarim Basin, China range from Cambrian to Lower Ordovician and/or Upper Ordovician in age. However, the difference between the two groups of source rocks is not well characterized. In this study, pyrite was removed from eleven mature to over mature kerogen samples from source rocks using the method of CrCl2 reduction and grinding. The kerogen and coexisting pyrite samples were then analyzed for δ34S values. Results show that the kerogen samples from the Cambrian have δ34S values between +10.4‰ and +19.4‰. The values are significantly higher than those from the Lower Ordovician kerogen (δ34S of between +6.7‰ and +8.7‰), which in turn are generally higher than from the Upper Ordovician kerogen samples (δ34S of between ?15.3 and +6.8‰). The associated pyrite shows a similar trend but with much lower δ34S values. This stratigraphically controlled sulfur isotope variation parallels the evolving contemporary marine sulfate and dated oil δ34S values from other basins, suggesting that seawater sulfate and source rock age have an important influence on kerogen and pyrite δ34S values. The relatively high δ34S values in the Cambrian to Lower Ordovician source rocks are associated with abundant aryl isoprenoids, gammacerane and C35 homohopanes in the extractable organic matter, indicating that these source rocks were deposited in a bottom water euxinic environment with water stratification. Compared with the Upper Ordovician, the Cambrian to Lower Ordovician source rocks show abundance in C28 20R sterane, C23 tricyclic terpanes, 4,23,24-trimethyl triaromatic dinosteroids and depletion in C24 tetracyclic terpane, C29 hopane. Thus, δ34S values and biomarkers of source rock organic matter can be used for distinguishing the Cambrian and Upper Ordovician source rocks in the Tarim Basin.  相似文献

The Upper Triassic-Middle Jurassic sedimentary succession in the Tabas Basin, with a thickness of about 1600 m, provides a case showing geochemical property changes through the Triassic-Jurassic boundary. The studied section (Kamarmacheh Kuh) is composed of the marine Nayband Formation (Norian-Rhaetian) overlain by siliciclastic sediments of Ab-e-Haji Formation (Lower Jurassic-Aalenian). Detailed geochemical analyses were conducted on selected samples from both formations and the results were used to infer paleo-depositional conditions. Most of the studied samples contain <1 wt% TOC composed mostly of oxidized organic matter with insignificant generative potential. Extract analysis of four representative samples indicate that the rocks also contain minor amounts of preserved algal organic matter along with a secondary contribution of higher plant organic matter from the adjacent watershed. Biomarker analyses show subtle variations in the relative contribution of land plant material that are consistent with the widespread occurrence of coal seams in the upper parts of the Nayband and basal parts of the Ab-e-Haji formations. Although the samples from the Kamarmacheh Kuh Section have low source potential, the extractable hydrocarbons indicate that conditions existed that were conducive to organic matter preservation and that regions of the Tabas Basin with higher primary productivity or lower sedimentation rates may have greater potential.  相似文献

The purpose of the study is to better understand the relationship between organic matter optical properties and the presence of potentially large oil and gas accumulations in Arctic Canada. The type and thermal maturity of the dispersed organic matter of the Mesozoic formations in the southern Sverdrup Basin, Melville Island, have been studied using organic petrology and Rock-Eval pyrolysis.All types of organic matter are present in the strata of Mesozoic age. Hydrogen-rich liptinite is dominated by alginite (Botryococcus and Tasmanites), dinoflagellate cysts and amorphous fluorescing matrix. Sporinite, cutinite, resinite and liptodetrinite made up the lesser hydrogen-rich exinite. Vitrinite reflectance in Cretaceous sediments ranges from 0.36 to 0.65% Ro; in Jurassic sediments it ranges from 0.40 to 1.0% Ro and in the Triassic from 0.45 to 1.30% Ro, showing an overall increase with depth of burial.Cretaceous sediments of the Deer Bay Formation are thermally immature and contain organic matter of terrestrial origin. The Upper Jurassic shales of the Ringnes Formation contain predominantly organic matter of liptinitic and exinitic origin with a considerable vitrinitic input. At optimum maturation levels, potential source beds of this formation would have a good hydrocarbon-generating potential. The hydrocarbon potential, however, would be limited to the generation of gases due to the leanness of the source rocks. Parts of the Lower Jurassic Jameson Bay Formation are organic-rich and contain a mixed exinitic/vitrinitic organic matter, Botryococcus colonial algae but visible organic matter is dominated by high plant remains (mainly spores). The Schei Point Group shales and siltstones contain organic matter of almost purely marine origin, whereas the predominantly higher plant-derived organic matter found in the Deer Bay, Jameson Bay and partly in the Ringnes formations have higher TOC. Among the Schei Point Group samples, the Cape Richards and Eden Bay members of the Hoyle Bay Formation are richer in TOC (>2.0%) than the Murray Harbour Formation (Cape Caledonia Member). This may reflect differences in the level of maturity or in the depositional environment (more anoxic conditions for the former).Regional variations in the level of thermal maturity of Mesozoic sediments in Sverdrup Basin appear to be a function of burial depth. The Mesozoic formations thicken towards the basin centre (NNE direction), reflecting the general pattern of increasing thermal maturity north of Sabine Peninsula. However, the regional thermal-maturation pattern of the Mesozoic is not solely a reflection of the present-day geothermal gradient, which indicates that anomalous zones of high geothermal gradient may have existed in the past, at least since when the Mesozoic sediments attained maximum burial depth. The contour pattern of the regional variation of maturity at the base of numerous Triassic formations is similar to that of the structural contours of the Sverdrup Basin, indicating that present-day maturation levels are largely controlled by basin subsidence.  相似文献

黔东南典型古油气藏的精细解剖对黔中隆起周缘乃至南方海相油气勘探研究具有重要意义。研究表明,在早寒武世初期、晚泥盆世早期和二叠纪,本地区均发育优质烃源岩,其中以下寒武统盆地相、斜坡相的黑色页岩发育最好,有机质丰度高(TOC普遍大于2%),类型好(偏腐殖型),厚度大,是麻江古油藏及凯里残余油气藏的主力烃源岩;早二叠世盆地相和澙湖相中发育的优质烃源岩与本层位中的沥青具亲缘关系,显示自生自储的特点。二叠纪烃源岩对黔中隆起及其周缘地区油气成藏具有重要作用。本地区缺乏扬子地区广泛发育的上奥陶统五峰组—下志留统龙马溪组底部那套优质烃源岩。  相似文献

准噶尔盆地陆东-五彩湾地区石炭系具有良好的勘探前景,该地区石炭系烃源岩有机质丰度较高,成熟度范围宽,主要处于成熟-高成熟演化阶段,主要由Ⅲ型有机质组成。在对烃源岩样品进行常规评价的基础上,用开放体系进行了热解实验和动力学模拟,对陆东-五彩湾地区的生烃特征进行了研究,尝试了高成熟烃源岩生烃过程研究及Ⅲ型干酪根液态烃排烃时间的估计,并对石炭系地层产烃率进行了计算。结果显示,陆东-五彩湾地区石炭系最早在二叠纪(距今264 Ma左右)开始生烃,后期由于地层抬升,在古近纪早期(距今61 Ma左右)结束生烃。下石炭统产烃率大,液态烃排出时间估计在距今232~196 Ma之间;上石炭统产烃率较小,液态烃排出时间估计在距今196~178 Ma 之间,但天然气生成相对较晚,有利于天然气的保存。天然气可能主要来源于上石炭统烃源岩。  相似文献

The thermal maturity and source-rock potential of the Upper Palaeozoic and Mesozoic sediments in the Hecla field, Melville Island, Arctic Canada, have been studied using reflected-light microscopy and Rock-Eval pyrolysis. Approximately 250 polished whole-rock samples were examined and their reflectance (% R0, random) measured. In addition, approximately 100 samples were subjected to Rock-Eval/TOC analyses.Hydrogen-rich organic matter in the Schei Point Group sediments is dominated by alginite (Tasmanales), dinoflagellate cysts with minor amounts of sporinite, cutinite, resinite and liptodetrinite in an amorphous fluorescing matrix. Vitrinite reflectance in Cretaceous sediments ranges from 0.41 to 0.54%; in Jurassic sediments it ranges from 0.43 to 0.64% and in Triassic sediments from 0.50 to 0.65%. The Triassic Schei Point Group calcareous shales and marlstones contain organic matter mainly of marine origin, whereas the predominantly terrestially-derived organic matter present in the Jameson Bay (Lower Jurassic) and in the Upper Jurassic to Lower Cretaceous Deer Bay formations have ower TOC. Only the Ringnes Formation has a TOC content of equivalent to or greater than Schei Point source rocks. Within the Schei Point Group, the Cape Richards and Eden Bay members of the Hoyle Bay Formation are slightly richer in TOC than the Murray Harbour Formation (Cape Caledonia Member). Higher average TOC contents (>3.0%) have been reported in the Cape Richards and Eden Bay members in almost all Hecla drillholes.Variations in the level of thermal maturity of Mesozoic sediments in the Hecla field are a function of burial depth. The stratigraphic succession thickens towards the main Sverdrup Basin depocentre located in a N-NE direction. The pattern of the isoreflectance contours at the top of the Triassic (Barrow Formation) is similar to that of formation boundary lines of the same formations, an indication that present-day maturation levels are largely controlled by basin subsidence.  相似文献

在野外地质勘查、典型剖面实测、样品采集及实验分析基础上,对拉布达林盆地潜在的烃源岩的有机质丰度、类型、成熟度等有机地球化学特征进行了分析评价.结果表明:1)上石炭统新伊根河组有机碳含量和生烃潜力均较低,有机质类型为I型,普遍达到到高成熟-过成熟阶段,为差烃源岩;2)中侏罗统万宝组有机碳含量中等,生烃潜力偏低,有机质类型为I型和II1型,处于低成熟阶段,为中等-差烃源岩;3)上侏罗统满克头鄂博组有机碳含量中等,生烃潜力较好,有机质类型为II1型,处于低成熟阶段,为较好烃源岩;4)下白垩统大磨拐河组有机碳含量较高,生烃潜力较好,有机质类型为为II1型和II2型,处于低成熟-成熟阶段,为好烃源岩.  相似文献

本文在南羌塘盆地土门地区获得一套上三叠统土门格拉组泥质烃源岩。通过有机质丰度、有机质类型和有机质热演化程度的分析,结果表明,土门格拉组泥质烃源岩有机碳含量在0.54%~1.36%之间,达到了中等-好烃源岩标准,局部达到很好烃源岩标准;干酪根镜检结果显示,有机质类型主要为II1型。镜质体反射率Ro为1.61%~2.76%,岩石热解峰温Tmax介于340~544℃之间,干酪根腐泥组颜色为棕色-棕褐色,表明有机质演化达到过成熟阶段。土门地区土门格拉组泥质烃源岩的发现进一步表明羌塘盆地上三叠统烃源岩具备良好的生烃(气)潜力。  相似文献

上奥陶统-下志留统烃源岩是中国南方海相4套主力区域烃源岩之一,有关它形成与发育环境的研究是南方海相油气成藏理论的基础性问题.本文选择中上扬子南缘2条代表性剖面,对上奥陶统-下志留统沉积岩进行了详细的地球化学分析,提取其中对沉积古环境有指示意义的地化指标,对该段地层的古环境进行了恢复.研究表明,优质烃源岩段主要集中在上奥陶统五峰组和下志留统龙马溪组底部,V/(V+Ni)、Ni/Co、Ceanom、δEu和δ13Corg等地球化学指标与有机碳含量均有较好的相关性,这些指标的异常均表明优质烃源岩发育于缺氧环境.而龙马溪组上部地层的有机碳含量较低,各种地球化学指标也显示,此时缺氧环境遭到了破坏,这与当时的沉积环境多为高能环境、不利于烃源岩发育是一致的.  相似文献

四川盆地是一个大型复合含气为主、含油为辅的叠合盆地。多旋回的沉积演化过程,孕育了多套海相、陆相烃源岩,且不同区域发育不同成因类型的烃源岩。目前下寒武统、志留系、下二叠统、上二叠统和上三叠统五套主要烃源岩均已进入高演化阶段,并以成气为主。由于多阶成烃、混源聚集和后期遭受TSR次生蚀变等成藏过程的复杂性使得天然气组分较干、碳同位素组成复杂,常规方法进行气源对比较困难。文中在对四川盆地沉积演化背景分析的基础上,通过对有效烃源岩发育特征和分布规律的探讨,分区域进行了气藏的分析,特别是对天然气组分、非烃组成(H2S、CO2、N2等)和碳同位素等资料综合研究的基础上,基本确定了各区块各含气层系的主力源岩。认为川东主力产层石炭系、三叠系和二叠系的气源分别为志留系、上二叠统龙潭组和下二叠统;川南气区震旦系灯影组、寒武系、二叠系和三叠系产层的气源分别主要来自下寒武统,上、下二叠系源岩;川西气区侏罗系和三叠系须家河组主产层的气源主要来自三叠系须家河组煤系烃源岩,下二叠统和嘉陵江组产层气源则可能主要来自二叠系;川中主要为产油区,下侏罗统自流井群原油应来自侏罗系源岩,浅部层系气源为上三叠统须家河组的陆相烃源岩,深部气藏则为寒武系烃源岩。由于川东北部烃源岩发育层数最多,且质量都较好,因此川东北部是烃类最富集的地区,也是勘探潜力最大的地区。  相似文献

为了量化表征北黄海盆地东部坳陷中生界主力烃源岩生、排烃特征,综合利用镜质体反射率(Ro)、残余有机碳含量(TOC)、岩石热解、干酪根镜检及饱和烃色谱等资料,在总结研究区烃源岩地化特征的基础上,通过油源对比明确主力烃源岩层并依托盆地模拟方法量化其生、排烃贡献.结果表明,北黄海盆地东部坳陷中生界的两类原油均来源于区内中侏罗统和上侏罗统两套主力烃源岩层,其中,中侏罗统烃源岩的有机质丰度整体处于"好-最好"级别,上侏罗统烃源岩的有机质丰度则以"中等-好"为主;二者均存在早白垩世末期和早中新世两次生、排烃高峰,但上侏罗统的排烃速率[qe(max)=27.3×106 t/Ma]远高于中侏罗统的排烃速率[qe(max)=4.2×106 t/Ma],对研究区油气成藏的贡献更大.虽然下白垩统暗色泥岩的生烃潜力有限,但其底部砂岩与紧邻上侏罗统主力烃源岩层构成的"下生上储"式的源储配置关系是区内最重要的勘探目的层,其次为中、上侏罗统内部"自生自储"式的有利成藏组合,同时,中侏罗统下部"上生下储"式的成藏组合也应予以重视.   相似文献

This article prognosticates the hydrocarbon generation potential of core samples from fields A, B, C and D in Niger delta, Nigeria. The objectives of this study are to characterize the quality of these core samples by organic geochemical analyses. A total of ten core samples collected from fields A, B, C and D in Niger delta were analyzed using total organic carbon (TOC) content analysis, rock-eval pyrolysis technique. The analytical results of the stud- ied core samples reveal that they have generally high total organic carbon contents (TOC), suggesting that conditions in the Niger delta favour organic matter production and preservation. There is a variation in the kerogen types and this may be attributed to the relative stratigraphic positions of the core samples within the Niger delta. The rock-eval results indicate that the samples from fields C and D contain predominantly Type II kerogen with a capacity to gen- erate oil and gas and hence have good generative potential. The samples from fields A and B contain mainly Type III kerogen and are gas-prone with moderate generative potential.  相似文献

对鄂尔多斯盆地下奥陶统马家沟组碳酸盐岩的各种沉积环境的有机相特征进行了研究,结果表明平均有机碳丰度最高的是陆缘斜坡相碳酸盐岩(0.26%),其次是膏盐湖(0.22%)、膏云坪(0.21%),而开阔海、云坪和滩等环境的碳酸盐岩有机碳平均含量较低(<0.20%);碳酸盐岩干酪根样品多数为富氧、贫氢,显示其有机质类型较差;岩石地球化学特征和生物化石特征反映出陆缘斜坡处于相对还原的环境,而其他沉积环境则为氧化环境。鄂尔多斯盆地下奥陶统的大部分碳酸盐岩处于生烃潜力较差的C~D相。从有机质数量、有机相类型来判断,鄂尔多斯盆地下奥陶统碳酸盐岩不是好烃源岩,难以形成具有一定规模的气田。  相似文献

从全球古气候和古海洋特征出发,结合中国南方晚古生代古地理演化特征,并利用中上扬子地区典型剖面系统的地球化学数据,探讨了南方海相上奥陶统—下志留统优质烃源岩发育的控制因素。研究表明V/(V+Ni)、Ni/Co、Ceanom、δEu和δ13Corg等地球化学指标与有机碳含量均有较好的相关性,这些指标的异常匀表明上奥陶统—下志留统优质烃源岩发育于缺氧环境。但是,从古气候和古海洋洋流的研究结果看,上奥陶统五峰组烃源岩与下志留统龙马溪组烃源岩的发育因素有明显的不同,五峰组沉积处于全球冰期的高峰阶段,在扬子地区发育强劲的上升洋流,提高了该地区的有机质的生产率,现今广泛分布在扬子地区的高有机质丰度的薄层硅质岩,是上升洋流的最好标志。龙马溪组沉积处于全球冰期过后的暖期,不利于上升洋流的大规模形成,上升洋流的影响范围仅局限于当时扬子克拉通盆地周缘深水斜坡部位。龙马溪组优质烃源岩主要发育在海侵的初期,主要是因为海侵初期海平面的快速上升,限制了陆源碎屑的大规模注入,海底的缺氧环境得以保存。而海侵的后期由于深层海水和表层海水有充足的时间混合,致使底部缺氧环境遭受破坏,有机质保存条件变差。  相似文献

在宜昌兴山下三叠统嘉陵江组灰岩晶洞和方解石脉中发现液体油苗。为查明其源岩,通过详细的野外剖面资料及密集采样,以有机碳含量0.5%为有效烃源岩下限,甄别出宜昌地区有三套有效烃源岩。通过烃源岩地球化学特征分析,发现萜烷、常规甾烷、甲藻甾烷等常规生物标志物的组成和分布趋于一致。高演化阶段的趋同性,已无法区分各套烃源岩,不能用于油源对比。但从三芳甾烷的组成和干酪根、氯仿沥青"A"稳定碳同位素组成特征,可以区分这三套烃源岩。油苗特征与上奥陶统五峰组—下志留统龙马溪组下部源岩相似,推测油苗来源于此源岩。  相似文献
