Polygonal object is a fundamental type of geometric data in vector GIS. The key step of cleaning topological relationship after data collection of polygonal layer is to build polygonal objects from digital arcs. The raw digital arcs may intersect with each other. The algorithm for building polygonal objects after the raw arcs have been split at all intersections is presented. The build-up of polygonal objects in this paper is designed to be implemented by two steps. The first step is to extract all the polygons needed for build-up of polygonal objects from arcs. The second step is to organize polygonal objects from these polygons. For the first step, a tracing algorithm is proposed. The algorithm merely extracts the polygons needed for the build-up of polygonal objects, which is a subset of all the possible polygons that can be induced from the arcs. High compression ratio,high decoding performance,and progressive data transmission are the most important require-ments of vector data compression algorithms for WebGIS.To meet these requirements,we present a new compression approach.This paper begins with the generation of multiscale data by converting float coordinates to integer coordinates.It is proved that the distance between the converted point and the original point on screen is within 2 pixels,and therefore,our approach is suitable for the visualization of vector data on the client side.Integer coordinates are passed to an Integer Wavelet Transformer,and the high-frequency coefficients produced by the transformer are encoded by Canonical Huffman codes.The experimental results on river data and road data demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach:compression ratio can reach 10% for river data and 20% for road data,respectively.We conclude that more attention needs be paid to correlation between curves that contain a few points.  相似文献

On the basis of the study on road elements and the existing three-dimensional road data models, this paper puts forward the transect-based road modeling, resolves the modeling of the simplest road with two road transects, and fulfils the visualization of the road. OpenGL is applied as the tool of visualization. The map texture technology, LOD algorithm and dynamic multi-differentiating texture technology are of benefit to the construction of 3D road GIS, and improve the speed of roaming and effective visualization. This paper also disusses the combination of 2D digitall road map and 3D road scene, and the dynamic response between them. Finally, on the basis of the research on the transect-based road model, this paper develops the three-dimen-sional road geographic information system called virtual road ( VRoad ), which not only supplies road designers with a set of tool which can turn the designed 2D road data into 3D road and the high road assistant function area in computer, but also supplies the road management with a set of tool which can realize the road real time and interactive roaming, high-efficiency management.  相似文献

In this paper a review on current research on 3DCM is presented, and an alternative approach by integrating the concepts and techniques of object-oriented method and Computer Aided Design (CAD) is suggested. Through the approach urban spatial entities as objects are extracted, which are represented with primary 3D elements (node, edge, face and body) and their combinations. In the light of the concept of object,the method supports the multiple representation of Level of Details (LOD). This paper presents a tramework for road network change detectlon In order to upctate the Canadian National Topographic DataBase (NTDB). The methodology has been developed on the basis of road extraction from IRS-pan images (with a 5.8 m spatial resolution) by using a wavelet approach. The feature matching and conflation techniques are used to road change detection and updating. Elementary experiments have showed that the proposed framework could be used for developing an operational road database updating system.  相似文献

This paper describes the use of the Arc/Info and ArcView GIS tools to estimate soil erosion with Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE).Calculations are be done by using capabilities available.This study start with a digital elevation model(DEM) of Shaanxi,which was created by digitizing contour and spot heights from the topographic map on 1:250000 scale and grid themes for the USLE K and C factors.It is note worthy that USLE K can be obtained by adding the K factor as an attribute to a soil theme‘s table.The C can be obtained from tables or using the information about land use and management given by USLE program.A land use theme can be used to add the C factors as an attribute field.The purpose of this study is to establish spatial information of soil erosion using USLE and GIS and discuss the analysis of the soil erosion and slope failures in GIS and formulate the possible framework.  相似文献

A few researches adopt virtual reality in landslide. So it is significant to combine the physicsbased deformable method with the process simulation of a sliding landslide, this way the dynamic process of a going landslide can be simulated. The analysis of the dynamic law of landslide provides a foundation to forecast and make it realiable to foretell disasters. After recounting the condition of VR and landsliding body simulation, this paper puts forward simulating landslide by the physics-based deformable method. The method divides landsliding into deformable body and rigid one. The deformation of deformable body can be compute by DDA and FEM, and DDA fits the great deformation and FEM is good for the tiny deformation. This paper shows it is feasible to simulate the landslide animation by this method.  相似文献

This paper presents a new type of cellular automata (CA) model for the simulation of alternative land development using neural networks for urban planning. CA models can be regarded as a planning tool because they can generate alternative urban growth. Alternative development patterns can be formed by using different sets of parameter values in CA simulation. A critical issue is how to define parameter values for realistic and idealized simulation. This paper demonstrates that neural networks can simplify CA models but generate more plausible results. The simulation is based on a simple three-layer network with an output neuron to generate conversion probability. No transition rules are required for the simulation. Parameter values are automatically obtained from the training of network by using satellite remote sensing data. Original training data can be assessed and modified according to planning objectives. Alternative urban patterns can be easily formulated by using the modified training data sets rather than changing the model.  相似文献

This is the second of a three-part series of papers which presents the principle and architecture of the CRNM, a trajectory-oriented, carriageway-based road network data model. The first part of the series has introduced a general background of building trajectory-oriented road network data models, including motivation, related works, and basic concepts. Based on it, this paper describs the CRNM in detail. At first, the notion of basic roadway entity is proposed and discussed. Secondly, carriageway is selected as the basic roadway entity after compared with other kinds of roadway, and approaches to representing other roadways with carriageways are introduced. The purpose of the series is to develop a trajectory-oriented road network data model, namely carriageway-based road network data model (CRNM). Part 1 deals with the modeling background. Part 2 proposes the principle and architecture of the CRNM. Part 3 investigates the implementation of the CRNM in a case study. In the present paper, the challenges of managing trajectory data are discussed. Then, developing trajectory-oriented road network data models is proposed as a solution and existing road network data models are reviewed. This is the final of a three-part series of papers which mainly discusses the implementation issues of the CRNM. The first two papers in the series have introduced the modeling background and methodology, respectively. An overall architecture of the CRNM has been proposed in the last paper. On the basis of the above discusses, a linear reference method (LRM) for providing spatial references for location points of a trajectory is developed. The existing roadway infrastructures are mostly archived with two-dimensional (2D) drawings that lack the possibility for three-dimensional (3D) interpretation and advanced 3D analysis. The mobile LiDAR system (MLS) is gaining popularity in 3D mapping applications along various types of road corridors. MLS achieves the highest data quality and completeness among the traditional roadway data collection methods. The rural roads in different countries especially in India form a substantial portion of the road network. Therefore the proper maintenance and road safety analysis of rural roads are recommended activity, which could be addressed using detailed 3D road surface information. The absence of raised curb at road boundary, and presence of complexity, heterogeneity and occlusions along the rural roadway settings restrict the use of existing studies for road surface extraction using MLS point cloud data. Therefore considering the above requirement, this research paper proposes a two-stage method. The first stage extract planar ground surfaces which are further used to filter road surface in the second stage. Global properties of road, that is, topology and smoothness and its radiometric response to laser beam of MLS are used in the second stage. MLS point cloud data of rural roadway were used to test the proposed method. The road surface points were accurately extracted without being affected by the absence of raised curb and hanging objects over the road surface, that is, tree canopies and overhead power lines. The quantitative assessment of the proposed method was performed in terms of correctness, completeness and quality, which were 96.3, 94.2, and 90.9%, respectively.  相似文献

车辆轨迹数据的道路信息提取是地理信息领域的热点也是难点之一,深度学习的快速发展为该问题的解决提供了一种思路与方法。本文针对车辆轨迹数据的车行道级道路提取问题,引入深度学习领域的生成式对抗网络,利用残差网络构建深层网络和多尺度感受野感知轨迹数据不同细节特征,构建了基于条件生成式对抗网络的轨迹方向约束下车行道级道路提取模型。首先提出了朝向-颜色映射栅格化转换方法,实现轨迹朝向信息向HSV颜色空间的转换;然后利用样本数据学习模型参数;最后将训练模型应用到郑州、成都、南京3个试验区域提取车行道级道路数据。试验结果表明,本文方法能够有效地提取完整的车行道级道路数据。  相似文献

道路网选取是制图综合的重要内容,针对现有方法仅考虑道路网静态特征等问题,提出了一种结合轨迹数据的混合多特征选取方法。首先以stroke为基本选取单元,构建对偶图来描述路网的结构关系,采用长度、连通度、接近度和中介度等指标对道路的静态特征进行评价;然后结合轨迹数据特点,采用车流量、车辆速度和道路交叉口附近的车辆密度等指标对道路的动态特征进行评价;最后利用基于相互关系准则的标准重要性方法计算得到各指标的权值及各道路的综合重要性值。同时引入线Voronoi图对道路进行划分,得到道路的密度特征值,并将其作为道路网选取的约束指标。实验结果表明,所提方法能够保持道路的整体结构,同时顾及道路的连通性和密度分布,而且结合了轨迹数据的动态交通特性,选取结果符合实际情况,具有一定的实用性。  相似文献

城市交通迅速发展,道路网络呈现出空间结构复杂、数据量大、时效性强等特点。本文讨论了传统路网模型的特点,顾及道路的信息完整性、数据冗余性、管理高效性3个指标,研究了以道路实体为基本元素的路网模型;运用面向对象技术对路网模型进行了数据建模,并通过动态交通信息更新机制对路网的动态属性进行管理;构建了城市道路实体化实验系统,验证了该模型的有效性和可行性。  相似文献
