1590年7月7日甘肃永靖东南地震考证   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
公元1590年7月,在甘肃临洮附近有破坏性历史地震记载"……坏城廓庐舍,压死人畜无算"。同月,青海东部的冰沟城(今乐都县东北)也因地震而城崩。在过去出版的地震目录中,均按两次地震列出,分别称为甘肃临洮51/2级地震,震中烈度Ⅶ度;青海乐都5级地震,震中烈度Ⅵ度。根据史料考证和现场调查结果,综合分析认为,上述两次地震很有可能为同一次地震,其震中位于甘肃永靖东南的马衔山区,震中烈度达Ⅷ—Ⅸ度,震级61/2级左右,其发震构造很可能为兰州马衔山北缘断裂带的中西段。  相似文献

公元1119年2月,在吉林省前郭县卡拉木附近地区曾发生一次强烈地震。据史书记载,对照“历史地震烈度——震级简表”,结合区域震例的一般规律,采用古登堡公式计算,得出这次地震的震中烈度为Ⅸ度,震级为7级。  相似文献

1631年(明崇祯4年)在常德附近发生了一次破坏性地震,前人对该地震作过探讨研究,曾给出了4个等震线图和震中定位。文中在重新查阅历史记载资料的基础上,重新绘制了该地震的等震线,其极震区的烈度为Ⅸ度,相对应的震级为级。以该地震内圈等震线的几何中心为震中,根据梅世蓉-萨瓦连斯基有关震中烈度、震级和震源深度之间的统计关系,以及谢毓寿的统计结果,得到的震源深度为15~18km。最后文中还讨论了历史资料考证、判别的问题和不同地基条件的影响  相似文献

以往的有关文献,曾有明隆庆五年五月初三日(1571年5月26日)佛冈5级Ⅲ度地震,此参数多年来一直为有关研究者所引据,个别文献虽则改称清远地震,但仍以5级Ⅲ度计。笔者在收集整理广东省地震史料时,曾注意到佛冈地震有误,其震中烈度尤需商榷,实际上,它只是发生在清远的一次有感地震。 有关上述地震的史料,见于《清远县志》和《佛冈直隶军民厅志》,兹引摘如下: 《清远县志》载:“隆庆五年四月大水,田禾庐舍倾坏,五月初三日卯时地震。”  相似文献

以1995 年出版的《中国历史强震目录(公元前23 世纪~ 公元1911 年)》为基础,首先统计了中国历史强震烈度点数量的总体分布情况,然后对历史强震烈度点数量在时间、空间和强度上的分布进行了分析,结果表明中国历史强震的烈度点资料普遍偏少。在时间和强度上,公元1500 年以前,受条件所限很多历史大震没有记载或者有些记载没能流传至今,而流传下来的历史地震也仅有少数烈度点;公元元年以前,史料记载过于简单且有缺漏,导致估定的最大震级记录不超过7 级;公元1500 年以后才开始出现8 级以上大震记录。在空间上,中国东部地区地震记载点明显较西部地区更为翔实。本文对单烈度记载点历史强震情况进行了重点分析,并将既有仪器记录又有宏观考察的现代地震按照历史地震参数获取方法进行处理,以讨论烈度点稀缺对确定历史地震参数的影响。  相似文献

根据地震地质构造环境、历史地震烈度记录等资料,对1931年9月21日南海西沙群岛北海中63/4级地震的震中位置和震级进行了讨论。该次地震广州、三水、中山等地的烈度达5°,5°等震线长轴大体呈NW向。由大致勾画的等烈度线图推测,其震中位置应从现定微观震中向东推移110km(20°N,114.1°E)。参考我国63/4~71/2级地震的震中位置与V度等震线最远距离的统计结果,认为上海徐家汇观象台将该震定为7.1级是较为合理的。  相似文献

A procedure for short-term rainfall forecasting in real-time is developed and a study of the role of sampling on forecast ability is conducted. Ground level rainfall fields are forecasted using a stochastic space-time rainfall model in state-space form. Updating of the rainfall field in real-time is accomplished using a distributed parameter Kalman filter to optimally combine measurement information and forecast model estimates. The influence of sampling density on forecast accuracy is evaluated using a series of a simulated rainfall events generated with the same stochastic rainfall model. Sampling was conducted at five different network spatial densities. The results quantify the influence of sampling network density on real-time rainfall field forecasting. Statistical analyses of the rainfall field residuals illustrate improvement in one hour lead time forecasts at higher measurement densities.  相似文献

Destructive earthquakes have caused great damage in China and the United States and collapsing buildings havecaused many deaths and injuries. The field of earthquake engineering studies earthquake hazards, the occurrence ofearthquakes of various magnitudes, the nature of the ground shaking during an earthquake, the vibration of structuresduring earthquakes, the strengthening of existing structures and the design of new structures to be earthquake resistant,and finally, how to cope with earthquake damage and restore a city to normal functioning. Such efforts are in progressin both countries, but unfortunately, the language barrier interferes with the free flow of information between China andthe Untied States. It would be mutually beneficial if some means could be developed to promote the exchangeof information across the Pacific Ocean. Dissolved total carbohydrates (DTCH), dissolved free monosaccharides (DFMS), dissolved organic carbon (DOC), biodegradable DOC (BDOC), and humic substances (HS) were measured in White Clay Creek (WCC), a stream in southeastern Pennsylvania Piedmont, USA. Samples were collected over different seasons and under baseflow and stormflow conditions. DOC concentrations ranged from 1.0 to 12.8 mg/L C with the highest concentrations associated with stormflows. Carbohydrates ranged from 0.42 to 12.4 μM and accounted for 2.9 to 12.7% of the DOC. Humic substances represented the major DOC fraction, accounting for 55 to 72% of the DOC pool under all flow conditions. The humic fraction had a lower carbohydrate content (4.4%) than the non-humic fraction of DOC (7.2%). Stormflow DOC was enriched in carbohydrates relative to baseflow DOC, but the percentage of humic-C changed little. Carbohydrates were primarily present as dissolved polysaccharides (55%), but a significant fraction was bound to humic substances (40%), while a small proportion was present as monosaccharides (5%). The major monosaccharides in stream water, listed in order of decreasing concentration, included glucose, galactose, rhamnose, xylose, arabinose, mannose, and fucose. On average (30.6 ± 7.4)% (n = 44) of the stream water DOC was biodegradable, and carbohydrates accounted for 9.9 to 17.7% of the BDOC.  相似文献
