Analyzing the observational data of the galactic bulge X-ray source GX 9 + 1 we found oscillations on the scale of hundreds of seconds to be present. This result should help our understanding of the accretion properties and orbital motion of this low-mass, X-ray binary.  相似文献

We propose a closed loop model of turbulent stochastic acceleration for the gradual phase of the radio burst of 1981 April 27. It can explain the various observed features in the spectrum, the rather long time of rise, the absence of X-ray bursts below 56 keV and of any detectable proton events.  相似文献

Calculations of the energy evolution of relativistic particles in a cluster of galaxies are presented. The heating of the X-ray gas by the radio gas in the cluster PKS 0745-191 is derived using Chandra X-ray data and VLA radio data. It is found that the heating is not sufficient for the radiation loss of the X-ray gas if the lower limit of energy in the power-law spectrum of relativistic electrons is set at 0.001 erg.  相似文献

By taking magnetic stress in place of viscosity as the mechanism for angular moaentum transfer, the effect of frozen magnetic field on the structure of a geometrically thin accretion disk is examined. It is shown that the disk is quasi-Keplerian and its total luminosity is twice the luminosity in the standard disk model. In the inner region, there exists a narrow cool region and the highly collimated jet is formed under the action of the azimuthal component of the magnetic field. Also, we discuss the possibility that a magnetized corona be formed near the surface of the accretion disk and a wide band radiation issuing therefrom. The model suggested here can easily and reasonably explain the major AGN properties such as the radiation variation, the “bumps” in the optical, ultraviolet and soft X-ray ranges, etc.  相似文献

Observational results from the supersoft X-ray detector (SD) aboard the spacecraft Shenzhou-2 are briefly described. The resultspertain to cosmic γ-ray bursts solar x-ray bursts, high-energy charged particles and soft X-ray background radiation. The detector is a proportional counter with a polypropylene thin-film window of 50 mm diameter, it operates in the energy range 0.23–3.0keV covered by six energy channels. Two grades of time resolution are used: 40 ms for recording burst events and 520 ms when there is no triggering signal resulted from a burst event. Figures 1 and 2 show the light curves and energy spectra of two cosmic γ-ray bursts (starting time 2001 Jan 17, 09:37:25.21 UT and 2001 Mar 9, 12:33:55.692 UT), and Figures 3 and 4, the results on two solar X-ray burst (2001 Apr 6, 19:14:09.11 UT, and 2001 May 20, 06:02:12.58 UT). The detector records the ambient high-energy charged particles when there is no burst event and the shutter of the window is closed. 110 data sets of high-energy charged particles along the spacecraft orbit have been collected. As examples, the variations of the particle counting rate along the orbit are shown in Figs. 6a, 6b, 8e, 8f and 7. More than 10 events of particle precipitation induced by solar proton events have also been recorded, some of which are displayed in Figs.6c–6f and 7. Some of the data of soft X-ray background radiation shown in Fig. 8 were obtained when the shutter was open, and they are important for the data processing of the burst events.  相似文献

An X-ray source close to the classical Seyfert galaxy NGC 1068 is identified as a quasar with a redshift of 0.63. The very high surface density of quasars around NGC 1068 suggests that the quasars may be physically associated with this active galaxy.  相似文献

Using a complete non-local convection theory, we carried out the theoretical calculations of 7Li depletion of the solar convective envelope models with different convective parameters c1 and c2, and got a model of the solar convection zone consistent with the observed 7Li abundance and the depth of the solar convection zone determined by helioseismic techniques. The overshooting distance of effective non-local convective mixing of 7Li is very extensive, which is about 1.07HP or 0.09R. However, the super-radiative temperature zone is much narrower, and it is only 0.20HP or 0.016R.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss the effect of features in the spectrum of QSOs on their color indices and the consequent variation of the latter with the redshift. As the redshift increases, the various absorption features shortwards of the Ly emission line enter into the visible region and alter the way in which the color indices vary with the redshift, while the effects of the intrinsic power-law spectrum and emission lines on the color indices become secondary. The largest effect is due to the Lyman limit absorption system. These results are checked using the color indices calculated from IUE spectra.  相似文献

An algorithm for detecting outliers and cycle slips in single-frequency GPS using a 3rd order polynomial model of the Kalman filter and for estimating the ambiguity by using optimal wavelet is presented in this paper. It is applicable to the carrier phase measurement with sample rate of one per second. The results of calculation with the GPS data aboard satellite Topex on 1995 June 22 show that the algorithm is so efficient that it can accurately estimate the ambiguity even for signals interrupted by a few seconds.  相似文献

For four selected fields in the Catalogue of IRAS Faint Sources we have calculated the two-point correlation function of the galaxies and the correlation fractal dimension. The results show that the galaxies in all the fields are clustered on small angular scales. On larger scales, the distribution can be well expressed by a multi-level fractal. On still larger scales, possible typical scales can be detected using un-normalized pair counts. The average results for the four fields are consistent with previous results for the all-sky IRAS point sources and other sky surveys.  相似文献

A set of close binaries have been observed using the same instrumental configuration at Kitt Peak National Observatory, USA. The rotation velocities for 99 components in 75 binaries, derived by two methods, are given here, including 55 components for the first time. These high-accuracy velocities provide a reliable observational basis for investigating synchronism in binaries and the various synchronizing mechanisms.  相似文献

Unstable pertubation modes exist in the magnetic field of penumbral electric current and I think the penumbral filaments are formed from the development of such modes. Under the short wave approximation the non-adiabatic dispersion equation is solved in the radial and transverse directions of the sunspot. From the condition of instability the length and width of the penumbral filament can be evaluated and it is found that the filament mode is static in the direction of the length and is non-moving in the direction of the width, that the penumbral filaments are a feature of the sunspot magnetic flow under gravity and that the presence of the filaments implies the existence of a twisted magnetic field.  相似文献

The process of magnetic reconnection in anisotropic plasmas is studied numerically using a 2-dimensional, 3-component hybrid simulation. The results of the calculation show that, when the plasma pressure in the direction perpendicular to magnetic field is larger than that in the parallel direction (e.g. P/P = 1.5), instability may greatly increase, speeding up the rate of reconnection. When P is smaller than P, (e.g., when P/P = 0.6), fire hose instability appears, which will restrain the tearing mode instability and the process of magnetic reconnection.  相似文献

The design of a lunar landing trajectory which satisfies certain constraints is considered and discussed. The constraints are of two kinds, kinetic constraints, which deal with the relative positions among the Sun, the Moon, the Earth, the spacecraft and tracking stations, and dynamic constraints, which deal with the orbital motion of the spacecraft. After a discussion of the characteristics of lunar flight trajectory, a method of designing standard flight trajectory is suggested that satisfies the constraints. This method is applied to the Chinese lunar landing flight and to the pre-design of the orbit of a lunar satellite.  相似文献

A method of realtime autonomous orbit determination for earth satellites using the extended Kalman filtering is proposed. The observed quantities are: the satellite-sun direction vector measured by a sun sensor, the satellite-earth and satellite-moon direction vectors measured by an ultraviolet sensor, and the geocentric distance measured by a radar altimeter. At the same time the satellite attitude to the earth is also determined. Results of our simulation of the autonomous orbit determination show that the precision of the orbit determinations is better than 200 m. The effects of the sampling period, orbital inclination, orbital eccentricity and orbital altitude on the precision of orbit determination are analyzed and compared, and certain principles helpful for improving the precision of orbit determination are suggested.  相似文献

Simulative calculations are carried out for finding out the relationship between the geometrical configuration of three-satellite constellations and the precision of positioning of a station. Shearing instability of ion flow in an inhomogeneous plasma background in the magnetopause boundary layer at the high-latitude magnetotail is studied in this paper. By considering tail-aligned currents, we find that the instability excitation strongly depends on the disturbed wavelength. A quasi-critical wave number for instability is obtained. For relatively long perturbations, the instability tends to be excited at the inner edge of the boundary layer. The stable surface waves at the magnetopause and the K-H instability at the inner edge of the boundary layer can exist at the same time. This may contribute to the continuous transfer of momentum toward the magnetosphere.  相似文献
