通过对四川若尔盖高原玛曲—红原一带20个表土孢粉样的分析,研究了该区域表土孢粉组合与现代植被的关系。结果显示,玛曲—红原一带表土的孢粉组合基本反映了现代植被的整体特征,与现代植被在植被类型、植被带的空间排列、主要建群种属和优势种属等方面基本一致。依据孢粉的百分含量,可以划分为亚高山灌丛植被区,亚高山灌丛、亚高山草甸植被区和高寒草甸、草原植被区3个植被带。表土花粉的代表性因种属的不同而各有差异,松属和菊科花粉具超代表性,云杉属花粉的代表性较好,禾本科和莎草科具低代表性,而桦木属则不具有超代表性,可能与桦木属花粉不易搬运有关。3个植被区中的表土孢粉的种类、比例与现代植被均存在一定的差别,这可能与植被退化有关。  相似文献

A multidisciplinary geochemical study of the distribution, dispersion, and glacial dispersal, of the pge and associated elements has been undertaken within soil, till, humus, vegetation and water at Ferguson Lake, Northwest Territories, Rottenstone Lake, Saskatchewan and Sudbury, Ontario.As the pge generally are present at low levels in surficial materials, development work on analytical techniques was an essential part of this study.At Ferguson Lake, the spatial distribution patterns of Au, Pt and Pd in till clearly indicate the exposed gossan zones, as expected, but also indicate a possible extension of the zone beneath a peat bog- and till-covered area. Down-ice dispersal of Au, Pt and Pd is limited to one to two hundred metres, in the <63 μm component of the till samples collected from frost boils. In vegetation the pge enrichment extends for several hundred metres down-ice and is best defined by Pd in birch twigs. Detectable, although extremely low, levels of Pt (2.8 ppt) and Pd (2.0 ppt) are present in waters in the vicinity of the gossanous zones at Ferguson Lake.At Rottenstone Lake, moderate to high concentrations of pge, Au, and base metals were found in ashed twigs of black spruce and the hmc of the tills for a distance of less than two hundred metres down-ice of the mineralization. Low Pd and Au concentrations were present in ashed spruce twigs about one kilometre down-ice of the mineralization, where only the hmc of the tills yielded anomalous concentrations of Pt and Au. There appears to be only limited dispersal of the pge and Au. These data indicate that only the hmc and the spruce twigs are of value in detecting Pt and Au in this area. Palladium presents a different picture, being detectable in only some of the soils, absent in the tills and hmc, yet appreciably enriched in the twig ash. The inference is that Pd is moving in solution and is being somewhat adsorbed in the soil but is much more significantly being taken up by the plant roots.At the Sudbury areas the pge, hosted in the Ni-Cu mineralization, are best reflected by elevated levels in the ashed humus of almost all elements examined. There is only minimal response in pge and Au to the mineralization from any of the fractions of the soil; whereas the <2 μm fraction of the B-horizon soil reflects the mineralization by elevated levels of As, Sb, Se, Cr, Co, Ni, Cu, Pb and Zn. Only hmc from the tills show elevated pge, Au and variable enhancement in As, Sb, Se and the base metals. The < 2 μm portion of the tills tends to be highest in As, Se, Cr and the base metals.This ongoing study shows that surficial materials and vegetation are effective in identifying areas of concealed pge mineralization. Various pathfinder elements, primarily Cu and Ni, but perhaps also As, Se, Sb and the other base metals, in the < 2 μm B-horizon soils and tills, may be informative in a preliminary evaluation of the pge potential of an area, prior to undertaking the more expensive precious-metal analyses. Humus and vegetation both appear extremely effective, and most cost efficient, and heavy-mineral concentrates (hmc) appear effective, for identifying areas with pge potential, whereas hmc from tills appear most effective for zeroing in on the site of the pge mineralization.  相似文献

Foliage from Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) tops was collected from 94 sites around the poorly exposed QR Au deposit in central British Columbia. Locally high concentrations of gold in ashed stems suggest a northwestward (down-ice) dispersion train of Au extending uphill for at least 500 m from the deposit. In addition, a down-slope, hydromorphic dispersion train is evident. All trees sampled are extremely rich in As, but the patterns of As distribution are less clearly related to the mineralization than those of Au enrichment. Summary statistics of analytical data for 35 elements are provided to serve as baseline information for any future studies.The sampling method, which is described in detail, is simple and cost-effective. In one hour the foliage of tree tops from about 50 sites, spaced at intervals of 200 m or more, can be collected by a three-person helicopter crew. The technique is particularly appropriate for rapidly screening rugged or heavily forested terrain, regardless of snow-cover, in order to establish priorities for ground follow-up exploration targets.  相似文献

The study presents data on the annual transport of 72 elements through evapotranspiration calculated for two mid-elevation mountain landscapes of the Northern Urals. It was found that the main characteristics of element transport in the mountain-taiga and subalpine belts are controlled by combined ecological and geochemical factors. A mechanism is described for changes in some environmental parameters through the air-borne migration of evapotranspiration products.  相似文献

江南造山带东段燕山晚期含钨的东源岩体与非含钨的旌德岩体、桃岭岩体,其地球化学特征具有埃达克质岩的亲缘性,是先前(新元古代)交代的岩石圈地幔发生部分熔融底侵到壳幔过渡带附近,导致加厚下地壳发生部分熔融的产物,可能与少量的幔源岩浆发生岩浆混合作用。含矿岩体与非含矿岩体存在不同的Sr-Nd同位素组成,表明含矿与非含矿岩体具有不同的源区。锆石LA-ICPMS定年显示含矿的东源岩体侵位时间147 Ma,非含矿岩体侵位时间140 Ma。含矿岩体的副矿物组合以独居石+辉钼矿+白钨矿+白钨矿+电气石为特征。岩体中富含成矿元素、富挥发分、富钾,黑云母中富F、低Fe和fO2,斜长石以钠长石为主,均可作为含矿花岗(斑)岩体的重要地球化学参数。  相似文献

Pollen records from two sites in western Oregon provide information on late-glacial variations in vegetation and climate and on the extent and character of Younger Dryas cooling in the Pacific Northwest. A subalpine forest was present at Little Lake, central Coast Range, between 15,700 and 14,850 cal yr B.P. A warm period between 14,850 and 14,500 cal yr B.P. is suggested by an increase inPseudotsugapollen and charcoal. The recurrence of subalpine forest at 14,500 cal yr B.P. implies a return to cool conditions. Another warming trend is evidenced by the reestablishment ofPseudotsugaforest at 14,250 cal yr B.P. Increased haploxylonPinuspollen between 12,400 and 11,000 cal yr B.P. indicates cooler winters than before. After 11,000 cal yr B.P. warm dry conditions are implied by the expansion ofPseudotsuga.A subalpine parkland occupied Gordon Lake, western Cascade Range, until 14,500 cal yr B.P., when it was replaced during a warming trend by a montane forest. A rise inPinuspollen from 12,800 to 11,000 cal yr B.P. suggests increased summer aridity.Pseudotsugadominated the vegetation after 11,000 cal yr B.P. Other records from the Pacific Northwest show an expansion ofPinusfrom ca. 13,000 to 11,000 cal yr B.P. This expansion may be a response either to submillennial climate changes of Younger Dryas age or to millennial-scale climatic variations.  相似文献

In parts of the deeply weathered and semi-arid environments of the Cobar area (NSW, Australia), detection of mineralisation using conventional soil sampling and total metal analysis is impeded. This is due to the intense leaching of trace elements within the weathered profile, discontinuous coverage of transported materials and the existence of diffuse regional geochemical anomalies of ill-defined source. Selective chemical extractions, applied to various regolith components, and biogeochemistry offer a means of isolating localised geochemical patterns related to recent dispersion of trace elements through the overburden. Lag geochemical patterns across the McKinnons deposit (Au) and Mrangelli prospect (Pb–Zn–As) reflect mechanical dispersion processes and minor hydromorphic effects. Concentrations of more mobile elements tend to be higher in the non-magnetic fraction, due to higher proportions of goethite and poorly crystalline hematite than in the magnetic fraction. The subdued soil geochemical responses for metals extractable by cold 40% hydrochloric acid (CHX) and for total element concentration reflect the leached nature of the residual profile, low grade of mineralisation, dilution by aeolian components and disequilibrium of fine fractions with coarser, relict Fe-oxides. The stronger contrast for CHX for most metals, compared with total extraction, indicates surface accumulation of trace elements derived from underlying mineralisation. Enzyme leach element anomalies are intense but generally located directly over bedrock sources or major structural breaks, irrespective of the nature of the overburden. Though mechanisms for the dispersion of trace elements extracted by enzyme leaching are not well established, the lack of lateral transport suggests vertical migration of volatile metal species (atmimorphic dispersion). The strong, multi-element response to mineralisation in cypress pine needles indicates significant metal recycling during the present erosional cycle. However, a comparison of the trace element concentrations in vegetation (cypress pine needles) and selective extractions of soils indicates that recycling by the plants is not the dominant mechanism for transportation of metals through the overburden. The vegetation may be responding to hydromorphic dispersion patterns at depth. The use of selective extractions may be useful in detecting mineralisation through deeply leached profiles, but offers even greater potential when integrated with biogeochemistry to detect targets buried by significant thickness of transported cover.  相似文献

该数据集依托中国地质调查局“山东莱州-招远地区金矿整装勘查区矿产调查与找矿预测”项目,在充分收集地质、物探、化探、遥感及矿产等资料基础上,开展毕郭幅矿产地质调查。项目共采集1 875件水系沉积物样品,采样粒级为-10~+80目,平均采样密度4.5个/km2。采用电感耦合等离子质谱法(ICP-MS)、原子荧光光谱法(AFS)、粉末发射光谱法(ES)和石墨炉原子吸收光谱法(GF-AAS)分析了16种元素,最终形成1:50 000山东毕郭幅地球化学数据集,数据集包含有1 875件样品×16种元素的原始分析数据表格一个,图集一套(含有1张矿产地质图、一张采样点位图和16张元素地球化学图)。区内共新发现单元素地球化学异常149处,综合异常10处,结合地质、矿产、物探、化探、遥感等信息并圈出金矿找矿靶区5处。  相似文献

The uptake of arsenic and other metals (iron, manganese, copper, zinc, lead, nickel and tungsten) by Pinus pinaster Aiton (the maritime pine tree) growing in soils and tailings around an abandoned mine (northern Portugal) was investigated. Aerial parts of Pinus pinaster trees were sampled from three substrate areas: a background area, in mine contaminated soils and in tailings. Vegetation material was separated into needles and stems and subdivided into tissues of different maturities (1-, 2-, 3- and 4-years-old). The sampling of the substrate in each area was also undertaken. In general, vegetation concentrations were strongly related to substrate concentrations. The results show that the contents of several elements depend as much on the plant organ as on the age of the tissue. For the researched elements, this species shows a great variability in behavior depending on the age of the organ. The data indicate that the older needles constitute the best samples for use in a conjunct biogeochemical analysis of these elements.  相似文献

This paper presents the first chironomid-based climatic reconstruction for the UK Lateglacial, obtained from a lake basin in southeast Scotland, Whitrig Bog. Comparison of chironomid, lithological, geochemical, and pollen data reveals a marked vegetation lag behind the warming following deglaciation; warm-water chironomid taxa (e.g. chironomus) had replaced cold-water chironomid taxa (e.g. Paracladius) prior to the arrival of shrubs and trees and when local soils were still poorly developed. In addition to clear evidence for the Younger Dryas Stadial, chironomid data also reveal two short-term cold episodes that punctuate the Lateglacial Interstadial, both of which are also reflected in pollen and lithological data as reversals from open birch scrub/woodland to open herbaceous tundra coinciding with inwash of minerogenic matter into the basin. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This study compares the geochemical response of stream sediments and adjacent vegetation samples, with variations in drainage catchment lithology and the occurrence of mineralisation, within a 14,000-km2 block of the northeastern region of New South Wales, Australia. The area contains a range of lithologies within a Devonian–Permian accretionary complex and Mesozoic sedimentary basin, as well as a wide range of mineral deposits. Sampling was designed to confine each sub-catchment to a single lithological group (mafic and ultramafic rocks, acid intrusives, volcanics, metasedimentary and sedimentary rocks or alluvium). Leaves of over 20 genera, dominated by (Allo-)Casuarina, Eucalyptus, Acacia, Callistemon and Melaleuca, and the <250-μm fraction of the stream sediments were analysed by INAA. The uptake of most trace elements varied between genera, with Callistemon displaying the highest median As and La contents and Eucalyptus the highest Co contents. The stream sediment and vegetation geochemistry reflect both hydromorphic and mechanical dispersion within sub-catchments, with regional patterns dominant over local influences. The vegetation appears to be influenced to a greater extent by hydromorphic dispersion, as indicated by differences in the ratio of leaf to sediment Cr concentrations in sub-catchments draining serpentinites and basalts. Although most known mineral deposits in the region produced anomalies in at least one medium, there was little correlation between the trace element concentrations of the vegetation and stream sediments on a site-by-site basis. A number of Au targets were only detected on the basis of the biogeochemistry and others were only reflected in the stream sediment geochemistry. In general, vegetation displayed more extensive dispersion trains away from mineralisation than did the stream sediments. Differences in the response of the two sampling media suggest their joint use in exploration or environmental surveys to maximise the probability of detecting mineralisation.  相似文献

The REVEALS model was developed to reconstruct quantitatively regional vegetation abundance (in a 104–105 km2 area) from pollen assemblages in large lakes (≥100–500 ha). This model corrects for biases in pollen percentages caused by inter‐taxonomic differences in pollen productivity and dispersal. This paper presents the first case study to validate REVEALS, using empirical data from southern Sweden. Percentage cover of modern regional vegetation in Skåne and Småland, two contrasting vegetation regions, was predicted with REVEALS for 26 key taxa, using pollen assemblages from surface sediments in 10 large lakes, and compared to the actual vegetation within 104 km2 compiled from satellite data, forestry inventories, crop statistics, aerial photographs, and vegetation inventories. REVEALS works well in predicting the percentage cover of large vegetation units such as total trees (wooded land), total herbs (open land), total conifers and total broad‐leaved trees, and it provides reasonable estimates for individual taxa, including Pinus, Picea, Betula, Corylus, Alnus, Tilia, Salix spp., Juniperus, Poaceae, Cyperaceae, Cerealia and Secale. The results show great potential for REVEALS applications, including (1) quantitative reconstructions of past regional land cover important for palaeoclimatology and nature conservation, and (2) local‐scale reconstruction of vegetation (<1 km2 up to ~ 5 km2 area) relevant for palaeoecology and archaeology. In the Hetai goldfield, Guangdong Province, China, samples including rocks, soils and leaves of four plants (Pinus massoniana, Rhodomyrms tomenlosa, D. linearis var. dichotoma and Embelia laeta) collected from the gold mineralization zone and the background area were analyzed for Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, Zn, Hg, As and physiological parameters. The objective of this investigation is to study the geochemical and biogeochemical characteristics of studied plants, aiming at biogeochemical methods in Au exploration. The goldfield region shows geochemical and biogeochemical anomalies. Abundances of Au in rocks, soils, plants and the leaf pigments in the mineralized area are much higher than those in the surrounding region. The plants display unhealthy physiological and ecological characteristics in the Hetai goldfield area. The cell structures of the goldfield plants were anomalous and aberrant, and there were many nano-metal particles diffused in mitochondria and chloroplasts. Macro- and microscopic evidences of the vegetation in the goldfield areas are distinctly different from the background regions. The strongly anomalies in responses to Au are profound in further geochemical and botanic exploration studies.  相似文献

拉地贡玛地区花岗岩处于金沙江缝合带内,区域上隶属西金乌兰—金沙江缝合带的物质组成部分,在研究区属通天河构造岩浆岩带。据出露岩石类型,将其划分为3个单元: 拉地贡玛花岗闪长岩(T3γδ)、日阿日曲石英闪长岩(T3δο)、缅切英云闪长岩(T3δi)。岩浆侵位时代为晚三叠世; 侵入岩体是以高硅富铝、多碱质和挥发组分为特征的兼具I型和S型花岗岩,属过铝质花岗岩; 轻重稀土分馏程度明显,轻稀土富集,Eu、Ce呈弱负异常,Rb、Th、Ba等元素富集,Y、Yb、Cr等元素亏损,具I型和S型花岗岩的特点,与火山弧钙碱性花岗岩特征相似。研究区花岗岩形成构造环境与晚三叠世多彩—当江构造混杂带的俯冲作用有关,是与俯冲汇聚构造环境有关的大陆碰撞弧型花岗岩。  相似文献

This paper describes the aim and principle of element geochemical division,the source of samples and data processing,the choice of divisional indices and the division of index value ranges.According to the geological structures and characteristic values(the accumulated value of enrichment coefficient)of the mantle-type elements(KT)this region can be divided into seven geochemical zones,i.e.,the Yangtze basement,the Yangtze cover,the Jinshajiang paleo-Tethys,the Lancangjiang paleo-Tethys,the Lanping Mesozoic basin,the Indosinian granite,and the Himalayan granite.Again in accordance with the different characteristic values of high field strength elements(HFSE)(KNb) or radiogenic elements(KTh)16 geochemical sub-zones can be divided.Meanwhile,this paper discusses the rules of variation in characteristic value of the various sub-zones and points out the characteristics of enrichment of oreforming elements in some of the sub-zones.  相似文献

A vibrocore from the sea floor of the southern North Sea provides a ~1,500-year record of early Holocene vegetation history and mire development in a landscape now 33 m below sea-level. Pollen, plant macrofossil and geochemical analyses of an AMS 14C dated sand–peat–marine mud sequence document the paludification on Pleistocene sands ~10,700 cal BP, the subsequent development of eutraphentic carr vegetation and the gradual inundation by the transgressing sea ~9,350 cal BP. PinusCorylus woodland prevailed on terrestrial grounds after hazel had immigrated ~10,700 cal BP. Salix dominated the carr vegetation throughout 1,300 years of peat formation, because Alnus did not spread in the Borkum Riffgrund area until 9,300 BP. Brackish reed vegetation with Phragmites established after inundation and siliciclastic marine sediments were being deposited. This article also examines the detection and suitability of key horizons indicative of marine influence. XRF-Scanning provides the most detailed results in the briefest possible time to pinpoint spectra best suitable for AMS 14C dating of classical key horizons such as start of peat formation and transgressive contact. The combined application of botanical and geochemical methods allows determining new key horizons indicative of marine influence, namely the earliest marine inundation and the onset of sea-level influence on coastal ground water level.  相似文献

在黄陵基底穹隆北部已发现的几个大鳞片晶质石墨矿区中采取少量新鲜石墨样品(含少量大理岩围岩)进行了矿石岩相学及地球化学测试,通过相应分析、图解,探讨其成矿物质来源。该区石墨矿石赋存于黄凉河岩组(Pt1h)一套孔兹岩系内,主要矿石类型为石墨片岩及石墨片麻岩。根据其主微量元素及碳同位素分析,恢复矿石原岩为一套含炭质的(砂)泥质沉积岩,其固定碳质绝大多数来源于有机物而不是大理岩中的无机碳。根据矿层的元素组成及古地史证据,推测黄凉河岩组的蚀源区以野马洞岩组(Ar2y,拉斑玄武质)为主,东冲河片麻杂岩(Ar2D,花岗质)次之,而不是前人认为的单一"以花岗质岩石为蚀源区"。从供给源到成矿母岩的演化过程中,发生了强烈的地球化学变化,而不只是物质简单的机械转移。  相似文献

We analysed charcoal and pollen from sediments obtained from two lakes in the northwestern mixed‐wood Canadian boreal forest in order to reconstruct fire‐return intervals and vegetation dynamics over the last 8000 years. Sites were selected with contrasting soil properties (mesic versus dry‐sandy soils), allowing an estimation of the potential influence of soils on long‐term vegetation and fire dynamics. The sites likely experienced fewer fires during the period extending from 8000 to 4000 cal. a BP than over the last 4000 years. At both sites, eastern white pine (Pinus strobus) populations were most extensive shortly after deglaciation, with vegetation later shifting towards mixed woodlands with less P. strobus and more extensive Picea and Pinus banksiana populations. This gradual vegetation shift was probably induced by the establishment of colder and moister conditions along with a fire‐regime change. In spite of the parallel long‐term vegetation trajectories, vegetation composition differed between the two sites in both the past and present. Whereas Picea was more abundant at the mesic site, the fire‐adapted P. banksiana populations were more extensive at the sandy‐soil site. These differences in vegetation composition indicate that, in addition to climate changes and fire occurrence, soil properties also influenced vegetation dynamics. A likely increase in fire frequency in the Canadian boreal forest during the 21st century might therefore favour the expansion of these two disturbance‐adapted trees with spatial heterogeneity in the populations due to varying soil types. The partitioning of the rare earth elements between a peraluminous monzogranitic melt and a chloride-bearing, sulfur- and carbon dioxide-free, aqueous volatile phase was examined experimentally as a function of chloride and major element concentrations at 800 °C and 200 MPa. The light rare earth elements (e.g. La, Ce) partition into the aqueous volatile phase to a greater extent than the heavy rare earth elements (e.g. Yb, Lu). Distribution of the rare earth elements and the major elements H, Na, K, Ca, and Al between the melt phase (mp) and aqueous volatile phase (aq) is a function of the chlorine concentration in the system, and our data are consistent with the rare earth and major elements occurring as chloride complexes in the aqueous volatile phase. Apparent equilibrium constants for experiments at 800 °C and 200 MPa, K REE,Na aq/mp , expressed as the ratio of the concentration of a given rare earth element in the aqueous volatile phase to the concentration of the same element in the melt phase, divided by the cubed ratio of sodium in the aqueous volatile phase to the concentration of sodium in the melt phase, decrease systematically with increasing atomic number from K La,Na aq/mp = 0.41(±0.03) to K Lu,Na aq/mp =0.11(±0.01), except for Eu. These experimentally derived apparent equilibrium constants for the rare earth elements can be used in a numerical simulation of magmatic volatile exsolution. The simulation gave results consistent with the elemental distribution in the potassic alteration zone of a deep porphyry copper deposit, but higher concentrations of heavy rare earth elements are released into the magmatic aqueous solution than are captured in the secondary mineralization. The efficacy of sagebrush (Artemisia) as a biogeochemical indicator of base-metal mineralization in stratabound Precambrian ore deposits in west-central Colorado was investigated by collecting new (mostly flowering) growth from several sagebrush shrubs over and near five such deposits in three different areas. These are the Sedalia mine and two mines in the Turret district near Salida, and two mines in the Cochetopa district southeast of Gunnison. Two species were used, A. tridentata and A. frigida, depending on the area. Sagebrush clippings were separated into two subsamples consisting of (1) stems, and (2) leaves and blossoms stripped from the stems. These subsamples were ashed separately and the ash analyzed with an emission spectrograph for 30 elements. There appear to be no appreciable differences in the analyses of the two subsamples, indicating that composite samples would provide adequate information for further investigations. Eight of these elements, Ag, Bi, Cu, Pb, Sn, Y, Zn, and Zr, are present in notably higher concentrations in the ash of samples growing over mineralized ground than in that of control samples growing over barren ground. Although the distribution pattern, and the number of these anomalous elements, differs at each of the five localities, three of them, silver, copper, and lead, show good contrast and close association with subjacent mineralization in all five study areas.  相似文献
