海洋生物多样性是海洋生态系统的重要组成部分,了解海洋生物多样性的形成演化过程不仅是生命科学的本质问题,而且对海洋生物资源的保护和开发利用具有重要的指导意义。目前海洋生物多样性的形成演化机制尚不明确,而性状多样性的起源和适应性演化为回答海洋生物多样性的内源性机制提供了重要突破口。本文从演化发育生物学的角度综述了海洋动物适应性性状、其研究方法和新兴模式生物的研究进展,重点阐述了印太交汇区的海洋动物适应性演化研究进展,探讨了该区域生物多样中心形成的驱动力,并就未来海洋生物多样性与适应性演化研究提出了建议。  相似文献

印太交汇区是当前全球海洋生物多样性的中心,中心的形成演化是地质历史、气候、海洋环境和生命过程协同作用的结果。本文从印太交汇区海洋生物多样性分布格局、形成演化、成因假说与环境驱动机制等角度,概述了相关研究进展,并梳理了研究存在的问题。迄今对印太交汇区多样性中心形成的关键过程和机制的认识仍相当有限。基于近岸浅海研究判定的全球海洋生物多样性中心,是否可推及深海仍然未知,对深海生物多样性分布格局及源汇机制依然不明。未来近海研究应避免对已有研究的重复,关注深海,实现重点突破。对于诸多假说的验证和科学问题的解释,需打破常规,基于今古结合和多学科交叉开展研究。通过古生物与气候环境演化记录,揭示驱动生物演化的环境要素;通过现生生物地理及分子证据,揭示生物适应演化机制与扩布路径;通过生物与海洋流体结构及动力学耦合,揭示相关生物-物理-生态过程。基于多圈层视角的研究可望系统阐释印太交汇区海洋生物多样性中心形成演化过程与机制,取得理论上的突破。  相似文献

随着经济发展,海洋石油污染问题日益严峻,相比较溶于海水,石油烃更易富集于沉积物中,对海洋生态系统造成影响,特别是对底栖动物产生严重威胁。文中综述了近年来国内外关于海洋石油烃污染对多毛类动物的毒性效应研究进展,主要包括:石油烃的毒性机制、多毛类动物摄食习性、多毛类动物对石油烃的富集与代谢、石油烃对多毛类抗氧化防御系统的影响、石油烃对多毛类底栖动物神经系统的损害和分子损伤,并对未来研究方向进行了展望。  相似文献

本文是1990年6月至10月,对青岛湾东侧有机质污染潮间带的小型底栖动物群落的研究结果。结果指出海洋线虫与多毛类小头虫的数量消长完全一致,它们保持着共栖或互利的共生关系。共鉴定出海洋线虫20种,其中6种占总丰度的90%。依据种类组成计算的Simpsion和Shannon-Wiener多样性指数,以及线虫与桡足类、小头虫与其他多毛类的数量比值指明,该有机质污染带正向着半污染带过渡。  相似文献

本文以46亿年来地球、海洋及生命的形成与演化为主线,简要回顾了生命体由简单到复杂、从低级向高级、从水生到陆生逐级演化的历史进程,以及重大环境变化事件对生物毁灭性灭绝、生物适应与多样性演化的影响,阐明海洋尤其热带海洋在生命诞生、孕育及庇护等过程中所发挥的不可替代作用。同时,分析了热带海洋生物资源多样性中心形成的重要自然环境因素及可能机制。并针对印太交汇区深海极端环境微生物生态系统、浅海典型的海草/藻床、珊瑚礁、生物多样性和热带渔业资源,论述了热带海洋生物多样性资源的保护、发掘与高值开发利用。  相似文献

于2007年5月至2010年5月间,在湄洲湾海域设置50个浅海测站,16条软相潮间带断面,进行底栖生物调查,根据调查采获的多毛类动物样品进行整理,研究湄洲湾多毛类物种多样性及生态特点.湄洲湾海域共鉴定有多毛类环节动物177种,隶属4l科112属.湄洲湾多毛类的动物区系特点与台湾海峡具有相似的热带、亚热带特征.讨论多毛类环节动物在调查区域底栖生物种类及数量组成中的地位,分析调查区域多毛类多样性指数等生态特征,为湄洲湾的生态环境监控、环境保护提供多毛类生态学的资料.  相似文献

综述了我国海域无脊椎动物的分类学和系统演化研究的历史和概况,以及我国分类系统学工作者在海洋无脊椎动物分类学、区系与动物地理学、系统发育与分子系统学领域的主要工作,重点介绍了中国科学院海洋研究所的海洋无脊椎动物分类学工作。涉及类群包括原生动物、海绵动物、刺胞动物、线虫、多毛类环节动物、星虫、螠虫、软体动物、节肢动物、苔藓动物、毛颚动物、棘皮动物、半索动物等主要的无脊椎动物门类。涉及海域以我国管辖海域,特别是中国近海为主,也涉及了西太平洋、西南印度洋等深海环境的无脊椎动物类群的分类学报道。本文总结过去,展望未来,对于在我国在海洋无脊椎动物分类与系统演化研究领域成就基础上,发现薄弱环节,研讨今后本学科的发展方向,填补研究空白,赶超本领域国际前沿,都有重要借鉴意义。  相似文献

为了解南麂列岛国家海洋自然保护区岩礁相潮间带多毛类的生态现状和功能,于2012年5月(春季)、8月(夏季)、11月(秋季)和2013年2月(冬季)在保护区内进行了4次底栖生物调查,对采集的多毛类样品进行鉴定,并依此计算丰度、生物量和相关生物多样性指数。四季共采集到多毛类85种,春季多毛类平均丰度和平均生物量分别为492个/m2和39.50 g/m2,夏季为895个/m2和20.95 g/m2,秋季为639个/m2和16.51 g/m2,冬季为511个/m2和9.04 g/m2。各断面的物种多样性指数为2.950~4.864,均匀度指数为0.922~0.990,种类丰富度指数为2.486~7.087。最后通过分析发现,潮汐、季节变化和人类活动等因素不同程度地影响了多毛类在岩相潮间带的空间分布及群落特征。  相似文献

环节动物多毛纲是大型底栖生物重要类群,对其生物多样性和区系分类的研究,有助于分析人类活动和全球气候变化对生物的影响。之前我国底栖多毛类的多样性研究主要集中在黄海等局部海域。现系统整理渤海、黄海、东海和南海(未包含三沙海域)底栖多毛类的物种名录,并计算了分类多样性指数和相似性系数。结果表明,平均分类差异指数(Δ+)东海最高,达93.23;渤海最低,为90.56。而分类差异变异指数(Λ+)渤海最高,达277.83;东海最低,仅210.45。科级和种级的相似性系数表明,科级水平上4个海域间的相似性均较高,种级水平上渤海和黄海的相似性最高,达0.486;渤海和南海的相似性最低,仅0.128,表明4个海域的底栖多毛类有明显的区系分类差异。通过分析底栖多毛类生物在中国近海的分类多样性差异,初步探讨中国海底栖多毛类的动物区系,以期加深对我国底栖多毛类多样性的认识,为中国海多毛类的多样性研究提供科学依据。  相似文献

Cu、Hg、Pb、Cd和Zn等是海洋中几种主要的重金属污染物。研究表明,有些海洋生物,特别是双壳类软体动物,对这些重金属具有很高的积累能力。表1列出了一些重金属在几种海洋贝类生物中的浓缩因子。其它海洋动物如多毛类、甲壳类以及鱼类,特别是它们的肝脏和肾,也能积累很高浓度的重金属。  相似文献

水产动物病原菌广泛分布于近海,不但影响海水养殖业的发展、海产品的质量安全,甚至还威胁到人类公众健康,因此,开展近海水域病原菌多样性的研究,对于海水养殖业的可持续发展及人类健康都具有重要意义。文章综述了近海水域水产动物病原菌多样性研究主要方法的原理、特点以及局限性,介绍了16S rRNA序列分析、分子杂交、指纹图谱等分子生物学技术,阐述了实时荧光定量PCR、竞争定量PCR等定量研究技术的应用,展望了病原菌多样性研究的发展趋势是原位、快速、高通量、灵敏、多技术联合和准确定量。  相似文献

Natural communities are constantly changing due to a variety of interacting external processes and the temporal occurrence and intensity of these processes can have important implications for the diversity and structure of marine sessile assemblages. In this study, we investigated the effects of temporal variation in a disturbance regime, as well as the specific timing of events within different regimes, on the composition and diversity of marine subtidal fouling assemblages. We did this in a multi‐factorial experiment using artificial settlement tiles deployed at two sites on the North East coast of England. We found that although there were significant effects of disturbances on the composition of assemblages, there were no effects of either the variation in the disturbance regime or the specific timing of events on the diversity or assemblage composition at either site. In contrast to recent implications we conclude that in marine fouling assemblages, the variability in disturbance regimes (as a driving force) is unimportant, while disturbance itself is an important force for structuring robust ecosystems.  相似文献

The level of parental investment for larval nutrition may determine the life cycle in marine invertebrate species laying egg masses or capsules, where the food available for enclosed individuals would determine time and developmental stage of hatching. Most species show a unique type of larval development. However, few species are poecilogonous and combine more than one development type. Poecilogony, although scarcely studied, allows comparing different patterns of parental reproductive investment, without the phylogenetic effect of the species ancestral modes of development (phylogenetic inertia), to help to understand the factors determining life strategy evolution in marine invertebrates. The poecilogonous polychaete worm Boccardia wellingtonensis encapsulates and incubates its offspring, which then hatches as either planktotrophic larvae or benthic juveniles; while Boccardia chilensis shows a non-poecilogonous reproductive type, producing only planktotrophic larvae. In this work, we estimated the bioenergetic and biochemical composition of brooding and non-brooding females of B. wellingtonensis and B. chilensis to compare the costs of reproduction in these two species. Results showed that glucose, protein, lipid, and energy content were significantly higher in non-brooding than in brooding females of B. wellingtonensis; but also contained significantly more glucose, protein, and lipid than females of B. chilensis (in absolute and relative dry weight values). The poecilogonous species showed higher energy content previous to laying offspring. Our results support the idea that the evolution of a certain reproductive and life history traits in marine invertebrates is related to adaptations in the female's reproductive investment.  相似文献

Large nematodes form an important component of deep‐sea macrofaunal assemblages, but are often considered to be part of the meiobenthos and are rarely studied. We analysed the standing stocks, diversity, and functional group and genus‐level composition of macrofaunal nematodes at lower bathyal depths (3,500 m water depth) in the Whittard Canyon system (NE Atlantic) and on the adjacent continental slope. Five replicate sample sets were obtained using a Megacorer, at four locations (three canyon branches, one slope). Sediment samples were processed on a 500‐μm mesh to provide both nematode and polychaete data from the same samples. The dominant nematode genera included Paramesacanthion, Metacylicolaimus, Cylicolaimus and Phanodermopsis. Nematode standing stocks (density and biomass) increased significantly from slope to canyon locations. Similarly, nematode dominance increased substantially (and diversity decreased) from slope to canyon locations. Nematode feeding groups and tail shape groups also appeared to exhibit common trends across study locations. Nematode genus‐level faunal composition varied significantly between slope and canyon locations. We describe and discuss the broadly similar trends detected in the matching polychaete data, noting some differences in the polychaete density and diversity responses. We suggest that the similar trends in macrofaunal nematode and polychaete ecology across our four study locations reflect responses to both changing sedimentology and food availability.  相似文献

Macro-ecological theories relating species richness, abundance, range size, biological traits and environmental tolerance have rarely been tested in marine soft-sediments, despite the spatial extent of these habitats and the inherent richness of resident communities. This study examines the contribution of rare species to marine soft-sediment communities from New Zealand, focussing on the relationships of range size with abundance, environment, habitat diversity and life history traits. 54% of the 351 species sampled exhibited restricted ranges (found at ≤ 2 sites). In contrast to many terrestrial systems, we observed only a weak positive relationship between abundance and frequency of occurrence. Restricted-range species were not randomly distributed, with their distribution related to habitat characteristics, suggesting an important link between habitat diversity and rarity. They exhibited a similar range of traits to the total observed species pool, suggesting that they are not only important to biodiversity but could play a role in stability. Restricted range species were generally not small and this, together with the number of different biological traits represented, suggests that rare species are important to the functioning of marine systems. Thus, our results highlight the importance of considering rare species in habitat-based approaches to conservation.  相似文献

We collected polychaete diversity and abundance data at a range of impacted and reference sites near an alumina refinery in Melville Bay, northern Australia. The aims were to measure the impact of sediment modified by the alumina refinery discharge on polychaete communities and secondly to gather baseline data from which to measure future changes. Polychaete communities in both soft-bottom habitats and subtidal areas adjacent to mangrove forests were studied. We also developed and deployed an artificial substratum device to sample polychaetes associated with hard-substrate habitats. For each habitat, polychaete community composition was different between impacted and reference sites and at multiple time points. The impact of future changes either from bioremediation or management practices can be measured against these baseline data. Indicator species analysis was used to identify polychaete species that were significantly different at the locations tested, and we discuss their potential as indicator species.  相似文献

Variations in species diversity and abundance of polychaete taxocenes that occurred in 1980–1989 under different contamination levels of bottom sediments were studied in three areas of Peter the Great Bay. The most polluted area was shown to be the Golden Horn Inlet where contaminant contents in the bottom sediments exceed the threshold values of negative biota alterations. Amursky Bay is characterized by a moderate level of contamination, while Ussuriysky Bay has the lowest level of contamination. Pollutant contents vary considerably within the same areas and their separate patches are polluted differently. An integral index characterizing the contamination of bottom sediments is proposed. This index is an average grade of the rank value of contaminant contents in sediments. The index was used to compare the contamination level and data on polychaete species diversity and abundance. The highest species diversity of polychaetes is found in the least affected zones. Monotonous decrease of the species number, as well as decrease in the indices of diversity and evenness, is correlated with pollution level increases. Significant growth of the average polychaete biomass and polychaete density is observed in the case of an increase of contamination from low to moderate levels. Conversely, the biomass and abundance of polychaetes decline following an increase in contamination.  相似文献

印太交汇区不仅是热带物理海洋海气能量汇聚中心、地质板块活跃中心以及生物多样性中心,而且也是用于开展地球系统物质能量交换与全球气候变化以及海洋生物多样性起源研究的理想靶区,因此一直受到世界科学家们的广泛关注。作为全球34个生物多样性热点区域之一,印太交汇区的珊瑚礁三角区孕育了全球76%的造礁珊瑚、75%的红树林、50%的珊瑚礁鱼类和45%的海草物种数。鱼类是珊瑚礁生态系统中最重要的组成部分之一,在整个印度-太平洋海域中珊瑚礁群落的组成和维持中起到重要作用。过去,生物学家们围绕热带珊瑚礁鱼类多样性格局与演化做了大量工作,提出了许多生物地理学假说模型,如中心物种形成模型、汇聚中心模型、重叠中心模型和华莱氏线假说等,这些假说在一些珊瑚礁鱼类类群得到验证。但是,相对于印太交汇区的热带珊瑚礁鱼类多样性研究,深海的鱼类区系和生物多样性研究起步较晚,仍缺乏时间序列的观测数据和系统研究。目前对于印太交汇区深海与浅海生物多样性中心形成演化机制以及深浅海生物之间的源汇关系认知方面仍存在分歧。本文梳理了过去国内外学者在印太交汇区鱼类多样性方面的研究工作,综述了该地区浅海热带珊瑚礁和深海鱼类多样性格局演化研究最新进展,提出在深海极端环境和生命过程研究对策,以期为探讨印太交汇区海洋生物多样性中心形成演化过程及证实/证伪各种生物地理学假说提出科学论据,并为战略生物资源开发利用提供新视角。  相似文献
