For a ship hull with large deck openings such as container vessels and some large bulk carriers, the analysis of warping stresses and hatch opening deformations is an essential part of ship structural analyses. It is thus of importance to better understand the ultimate torsional strength characteristics of ships with large hatch openings. The primary aim of the present study is to investigate the ultimate strength characteristics of ship hulls with large hatch openings under torsion. Axial (warping) as well as shear stresses are normally developed for thin-walled beams with open cross sections subjected to torsion. A procedure for calculating these stresses is briefly described. As an illustrative example, the distribution and magnitude of warping and shear stresses for a typical container vessel hull cross section under unit torsion is calculated by the procedure. By theoretical and numerical analyses, it is shown that the influence of torsion induced warping stresses on the ultimate hull girder bending strength is small for ductile hull materials while torsion induced shear stresses will of course reduce the ship hull ultimate bending moment.  相似文献

This paper firstly figures out a similar scale model regarding ultimate strength experiment of a typical ultra large container ship (ULCS) through combined ultimate longitudinal bending and torsion analysis, in which the similarity theory is proposed to design the scale model for reflecting the progressive collapse behaviors of true ships in ultimate strength model test. The present study presents the similarity between scale model and true ship in cross-section considering the height of neutral axis, the section modulus, the inertia moment about neutral axis and the polar inertia moment should fit the geometrical similarity theory, and in strength considering buckling strength and shear ultimate strength of plates and stiffened panels should fit the strength similarity theory. Numerical investigations are conducted on the ultimate strength of a 10,000 TEU container ship and the similar scale model under pure hogging bending, pure torsion and combined bending and torsion, respectively. The nonlinear finite element method (NFEM) is adopted considering the effects of initial deformations and both material and geometric nonlinearities. Finally, the numerical results are compared with each other and discussed showing a good agreement in both elastic and inelastic range during the progressive collapse behaviors, which means the similar scale model can represent the true ship regarding ultimate strength test. And the similarity theory is verified quite stable after the uncertainty analysis.  相似文献

在实际工程检测数据的基础上,利用M on te C arlo试验对单一构件混凝土强度推定值的保证率问题进行了分析。30片梁板实测数据分析结果表明:将构件各测区混凝土强度换算值的最小值作为该构件的混凝土强度推定值的保证率范围为79.0%~94.2%,小于《超声回弹综合法检测混凝土强度技术规程》(CECS 02:88)规定的95%保证率要求,因此,对结构性能鉴定而言该混凝土强度推定值是偏于不安全的,应引起试验检测人员的充分重视。  相似文献

Chandler proposed the intrinsic strength line to correlate the undrained shear strength of samples one-dimensionally consolidated from slurry with the void index proposed by Burland. The undrained shear strength on the intrinsic strength line is different from the remolded undrained shear strength that is an important parameter for design and construction of land reclamation. The void index is used in this study for normalizing the remolded strength behavior of dredged deposits. A quantitative relationship between remolded undrained shear strength and void index is established based on extensive data of dredged deposits available from sources of literature. Furthermore, the normalized remolded undrained shear strength is compared with intrinsic strength line. The comparison result indicates that the ratio of undrained shear strength on the intrinsic strength line over remolded undrained shear strength increases with an increase in applied consolidated stress.  相似文献

Abstract

River-dredged sludge has a high water content and minimal bearing capacity and strength. Adding cement, fly ash, and slag to dredged sludge as a combined curing agent can quickly reduce its water content and improve its strength. This study experimentally investigates the solidification effectiveness of different proportions of curing agents using methods including electron microscopy, particle size analysis, water ratio limit, and water content and direct shear tests. The water content and shear strength of different combined curing agents are obtained at different ages. We find that an optimum curing agent combination exists. With increases in fly ash and slag content, test results indicate that the water content of solidified sludge first decreases and then increases, whereas the shear strength first increases and then decreases, allowing an optimal combination curing agent to be obtained. When using industrial waste residue as curing agent, it is necessary to consider the negative effects of the curing agent to better control the dosage so as to achieve better curing effect.  相似文献

在工程设计中,通常采用模块化方式制造超大型浮式结构物,将巨大的单体结构分割成多个较小模块,后期通过合适的连接器拼装形成。为了明确多模块超大浮体在波浪作用下的水弹性响应,以两个相邻层合浮体(高刚度面板和低密度芯材)为研究对象,建立波浪作用下铰接层合浮体水弹性响应的高阶势流模型。采用匹配特征函数展开法求解流体运动的速度势,探讨了铰接处弹簧刚度对浮体的反射系数、透射系数、挠度、弯矩和剪力的影响规律。研究结果表明:迎浪侧浮体的存在可以有效降低背浪侧浮体的挠度、弯矩和剪力幅值;与垂直弹簧相比,扭转弹簧刚度的增加可以更加有效抑制铰接层合浮体的水弹性响应;当扭转弹簧刚度大于一定值时,继续增大弹簧刚度对浮体的动力响应不产生影响。  相似文献

This paper presents the results of a series of studies on the influence of curing conditions onthe strength development of high strength concrete.The 1-,3-,7-,14-and 28-day strengths of four dif-ferent mixes of Grade 75~80 concrete,with or without pulverized fuel ash and/or condensed silica fume,under five different curing regimes were investigated.It is revealed that the curing conditions have signifi-cant influence on both the short term and long term strength development of the concrete and that con-crete mixes of the same grade but containing different mineral admixtures show distinct favour for a cur-ing regime.These results will be helpful for evaluating suitable curing methods for high strength concretewith different mix proportions.  相似文献

Vacuum preloading is often used to improve the geotechnical properties of dredged slurry. Although the performance of this method has improved with rapidly developing technology, soil columns usually formed on the drainage boundary induce the decrease of permeability around the boundary, thereby limiting the further development of this method. To address this issue, this paper proposes a method for pretreating the slurry combined with sand prior to vacuum consolidation. This method partially replaces the fine particles with sand to reduce the formation of soil columns. Two groups of vacuum preloading tests were performed to investigate the effect of sand content and sand grain size on the vacuum consolidation of dredged slurry. The test results revealed that for a given sand grain size, increasing the sand content of the sand–slurry mixture increased the pore water drainage and accelerated the dissipation of pore water pressure, thereby increasing the vane shear strength. In contrast, for a constant sand content, the samples containing coarse sand exhibited increased pore water drainage and accelerated dissipation of pore water pressure, thereby increasing the vane shear strength of the soil.  相似文献

为了快速并有效地计算海洋平台等薄壁箱型梁结构的约束扭转极限承载能力,进行了薄壁梁约束扭转极限承载能力简化计算方法研究.基于塑性极限状态分析理论,提出了薄壁梁约束扭转极限状态应力分布假设,将薄壁梁视作为一系列由主要支撑构件和扶强材支撑的板格,推导了薄壁梁约束扭转极限承载能力上限的计算公式.应用非线性有限元方法验证了所提假设和计算公式的精度,将所提方法应用于箱型梁模型和半潜平台的约束扭转极限承载能力的计算分析,并与非线性有限元结果进行了比对,结果表明,本方法具有较高的精度,可用于海洋平台等薄壁梁的扭转极限承载力上限的估算.  相似文献

为研究现代黄河三角洲沉积物临界剪切应力空间分布特征及其影响要素,本文在现代黄河三角洲不同沉积区域,垂直海岸线布设测线,采用黏结力仪进行沉积物临界剪切应力测试,并在相应测点开展沉积物物理力学性质与粒度成分测量工作。研究结果表明高潮滩沉积物临界剪切应力最高,在1.1~4.02Pa之间,沉积物不易发生侵蚀,含水量低、干容重大、黏粒与粉粒含量高、平均粒径小、不排水剪切强度大是高潮滩沉积物临界剪切应力偏高的重要因素;中潮滩沉积物受生物活动影响显著,临界剪切应力在0.10~1.90Pa之间,生物活动扰动、生物排泄及遗体遗迹的程度与数量是造成不同区域测试差异的重要原因;低潮滩沉积物临界剪切应力很低,在0.08~0.80Pa之间,沉积物极易发生侵蚀,含水量高、干容重偏低、砂砾含量高、平均粒径大、不排水剪切强度小是其典型的沉积物物理力学性质,也是造成低潮滩沉积物临界剪切应力普遍低于高潮滩的重要原因;现代黄河三角洲沉积物临界剪切应力区域特征表现为北部沉积物临界剪切应力水平最低,在0.11~0.4Pa之间,东部最高,在2.8~4.55Pa之间,南部与东北部居中,分别在0.63~0.84Pa与0.83~2.99Pa之间,东北部空间非均匀性分布显著,粒度组分的分异是导致沉积物临界剪切应力区域差异显著的重要因素,黏粒含量高的沉积区域沉积物临界剪切应力普遍高于砂砾含量高的沉积区;与世界其他大型河口三角洲相比,现代黄河三角洲沉积物临界剪切应力水平偏低但非均匀程度较高。  相似文献

A two-dimensional smeared crack model for reinforced concrete members is presented. Special emphasis is placed on the bond between concrete and reinforcement as the main factor influencing tension stiffening in cracked reinforced concrete. With the derived tangential stress-strain equations for concrete in the direction perpendicular to the cracks, the constitutive relationship for cracked reinforced concrete is established. Experimental specimens have been analyzed with the analytical model, and the analytical and experimental results are found to be in good agreement.  相似文献

Undrained shear strength is a fundamental parameter for estimating the stability of soft soils. This study explores the relationship between undrained shear strength, void ratio, and shear wave velocity for saturated and normally consolidated clay specimens. The undrained shear strength void ratio-shear wave velocity relationship was correlated to empirically determined parameters of selected marine clay specimens. To verify the proposed relationship between undrained shear strength and shear wave velocity, in situ flat dilatometer tests were used for determining the undrained shear strength, and downhole tests were used to assess the shear wave velocity on a natural soil deposit at various depths. The undrained shear strength estimated from the in situ shear wave velocities was compared to the undrained shear strength obtained in the field. The results show that the inferred undrained shear strength yield similar values and follow the same trends as the in situ undrained shear strength data. This method using shear wave velocity can help to nondestructively estimate the undrained shear strength of soft soils in the field and be used in both on-shore and off-shore geotechnical engineering projects.  相似文献

The strength of lightweight concrete under triaxial compressive stress is studied experimentally with the concrete triaxial apparatus designed by the authors, and is compared with that of normal concrete under the same stress state. Ninety-five 100 mm cubes under twenty stress ratios are tested. As compared with normal concrete, it is found that not only the multiaxial compressive strength of lightweight concrete is small, but also the ratio of the multiaxial compressive strength to the uniaxial compressive strength is small. The influence of the intermediate principal stress on the multiaxial strength of lightweight concrete is discussed. The strength criteria which are expressed in the principal stresses and the octahedral stresses respectively are proposed.  相似文献

The dynamic stress introduced in half elastic space by wave loading is characterized by the equation between the magnitude of half cyclic axial stress and cyclic torsion shear stress and the principal stress,whose direction rotates continuously and compression stress on seabed can be calculated by the use of small amplitude wave theory.With relationship curves of saturated silt of liquefaction cycles and cyclic stress ratios obtained by cyclic triaxial-torsional coupling shear tests and curve fitting method to different data points of relative density,it is suggested that the cyclic stress ratio corresponding to constant liquefaction impedance be taken as the critical cyclic stress ratio which implies liquefaction.There exists a linear relationship between critical cyclic stress ratio and relative density under different relative densities.Empirical formula for critical cyclic stress ratios of seabed liquefaction induced by wave loading under different relative densities is established.The possibility of seabed silt liquefaction and its influence factors are analyzed based on the small-amplitude wave theory and the data acquired in laboratory tests.  相似文献

Based on the experimental data, a stress variation model of the bond stress-slip relationship between steel bar and concrete is established. The characteristic of the model is that the boundary conditions are satisfied very well; the effects of the material properties, the concrete cover, the crack spacing and the distance from the cracked cross section are considered. Good agreement between measured and calculated bond stress-slip relationship is found. This model is useful for the study of the stiffness, deformation and crack width of reinforced concrete members, and for the nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete structures by the finite element method.  相似文献

A geological engineering study was undertaken to determine the spatial distribution of sediment critical shear stress in the modern Yellow River Delta and to determine the influence of sediment erodibility on sediment erosion and microtopography formation. The critical shear stress was tested using a cohesive sediment meter for sediments along lines running perpendicular to the coast in different sedimentary lobes of the delta, where the geotechnical properties of sediments were also determined. The results demonstrate that significant differences in critical shear stress exist among high, middle, and low tidal flats, which are influenced by biodisturbation in the different sedimentary lobes. Regional characteristics of the modern Yellow River Delta show that critical shear stress levels are the lowest in the northern area (0.11–0.4?Pa), are the highest in the eastern area (2.8–4.55?Pa), and are significantly heterogeneous in the northeastern area. The critical shear stress is found to be more nonuniform and levels of antierosion strength are relatively lower than values found for other estuarine deltas around the world.  相似文献
