西成矿化集中区热水沉积岩物质来源的同位素示踪及其意义   总被引:11,自引:3,他引:11  
利用硅同位素、锶同位素和碳氧同位素,对西成矿化集中区与矿体紧密伴生的热水沉积岩的物质来源进行了探讨。硅质岩的硅同位素δ3 0 SiNBS -2 8=- 0.6‰~ - 0.1‰,硅主要来源于下伏沉积岩;热水沉积岩的锶同位素比值87Sr/ 86Sr变化于 0.70 938~ 0.72 812之间,位于海洋锶和陆壳锶之间,为混合锶,其锶主要来源于下伏沉积地层柱;碳同位素组成略低于正常沉积碳酸盐岩,碳主要来源于下伏沉积地层柱在循环碳,同时又受其它来源碳的影响。同位素研究结果表明,热水沉积岩的组成物质主要来源于下伏沉积地层柱 (地壳内部 ),形成方式主要是外生沉积作用,即热水沉积岩是内生作用与外生作用共同作用的结果,是内外生矛盾的统一体。  相似文献

New chemical data from four different geological occurrences and published information are used to define, approximately, the chemistry of vermiculite of high temperature and pressure origin. Geologic occurrence indicates that this mineral is present towards the upper limit of the muscovite-chlorite zones in pelitic rocks. Geologic conditions range from glaucophane-lawsonite metamorphism to hydrothermal zones such as the Salton Sea area.The mineral has a composition distinct from chlorite and biotite, two commonly accompanying phases, being more silica rich than metamorphic chlorites from pelitic rocks and more aluminous than biotites. Vermiculites characteristically show significant but low K2O and CaO concentrations.  相似文献

Abstract. The Francis Creek area located at the Sybil graben in North Queensland, Australia, has some features of epithermal gold mineralization such as gold-bearing quartz vein and silica body hosted in rhyodacitic rocks of the Late Carboniferous Hells Gate Formation. In order to understand the nature of the paleo-hydrothermal activity in this area and to aid exploration for an economic gold deposit in this area, we carried out hydrothermal alteration mapping surrounding the veins and silica body, over an area of about 7 times 5 km2.
We defined two alteration zones and inferred the center of hydrothermal activity. Fluid inclusion shows the boiling feature, and the microthermometry analysis resulted in the trapping temperature of 240°C and low salinity. This temperature is consistent with the formation temperature of clay mineral in the host rocks. On the basis of whole-rock composition, the silica body was identified as silicified rocks. Precious metal minerals such as electrum and acanthite coexist with sulfide minerals. Iodagylite was identified as a product of weathering. The sulfide minerals imply that the low-sulfidation epithermal gold mineralization occurred in the Francis Creek area.  相似文献

准噶尔盆地玛湖凹陷风城组页岩油勘探取得巨大突破,但是按照普遍认可的页岩油烃源岩评价标准,本区的烃源岩品质并不理想。为了科学评价玛湖凹陷烃源岩品质特征,本文在系统的岩心观察和有机地球化学分析的基础上,揭示烃源岩的形成环境,并按照矿物组成对烃源岩分类评价。玛湖凹陷风城组细粒岩主要沉积于正常半深湖、咸化半深湖、半咸化半深湖、含热液半深湖和滨浅湖环境中,各环境中细粒岩的有机质特征存在一定区别,其中半咸化半深湖有机质较为富集,w (TOC)均值在1%左右。进一步结合有机质类型判别图解,表明咸化半深湖和含热液半深湖有机质来源以湖泊生物为主,而其他环境中存在湖泊和陆源混合有机质来源。基于有机质生烃潜力评价和成熟度(Vre=0.74%)估算,表明目前风城组烃源岩中有机质正处于大量排烃的成熟阶段,且确定了细粒岩中的烃类为原生烃。由于不同矿物组成的烃源岩吸附能力的差异,按照陆相泥质烃源岩和碳酸盐质烃源岩开展分类评价,结果表明风城组沉积了累计厚度近250 m的的有效烃源岩,且富含以藻类体为主的有机质。  相似文献

通过对大厂锡矿长坡―铜坑矿区主要赋矿层位硅质岩岩石学、岩石化学的研究,认为矿床赋矿硅质岩以及其中各类纹层、条带状含电气石、长石及硫化物的沉积物是海底热液循环系统中喷出海底的热水溶液以化学沉积方式形成的,生物可能参与了部分硅质岩的形成;另外,在某些热水沉积作用减弱时期,可能有少量陆源碎屑物质的加入,形成了硅质岩建造中少量绢云母泥质纹层条带;并且得出形成硅质岩的硅质来源,主要来自海底热卤水循环系统,部分来自海底中基性火山岩海解或脱玻的产物,硅质岩的形成同大厂锡矿床的形成在成因上有着一致性关系。  相似文献

This paper reports the results of detailed petrological-geochemical study of zircons and host rocks that were dredged from the Markov Deep area in the slow-spreading Mid-Atlantic ridge. The rocks are represented by variably cataclased gabbronorite with veinlets of oceanic plagiogranite (OPG) as well as leucocratic gabbro (primitive gabbro) and hornblende Fe-Ti oxide gabbronorite (ferrogabbro) without OPG. The studied zircons differ in morphology, inner structure, set of mineral inclusions (ingrowths), and content of trace elements. Compositional heterogeneity is also observed within individual grains. The REE distribution patterns in zircons are characterized by gentle growth from LREE to HREE, with prominent positive Ce anomaly and negative Eu anomaly, and in general fall in the range of zircons from magmatic rocks. Oceanic zircons clearly differ from continental populations in the U/Yb-Y and U/Yb-Hf discrimination diagrams, primarily, due to their lower U/Yb ratio at wide variations of Y and Hf contents. Zircons that contain inclusions of acid glass and hence, crystallized from OPG melt are relatively depleted in REE, especially HREE. This indicates that OPG was formed by partial melting of gabbro in the presence of concentrated water-salt fluid, which extracted REE from the plagiogranite melt. Zircons from gabbroids devoid of OPG inclusions have higher total REE contents than zircons from OPG. Late hydrothermal alterations of zircon are distinctly established by the formation of neogenic collomorphic (porous) texture and/or by composition of mineral inclusions and accompanied by significant enrichment in La. Heterogeneous distribution of Ti in zircon may be caused not only by a change in its crystallization temperature, but also variations in silica to titanium oxide activity ratios in the rocks during interaction with hydrothermal solution of variable acidity. A complex study of structural-morphological and geochemical features of oceanic zircons and phase composition of host rocks and inclusions provides insight into processes leading to the crystallization and subsequent evolution of this mineral in the rocks of oceanic lithosphere.  相似文献

Extensive Paleozoic sinter deposits occur at the surface associated with sub-surface quartz veining and epithermal Au mineralisation in the Drummond Basin, Australia. We investigated the trace element composition of the sinter deposits and quartz veins in an attempt to develop a new geochemical exploration guide for geological resources. The Drummond Basin hydrothermal silica deposits are unique in having anomalously enriched incompatible element (Cs, Li, Be, U, Th and REE) concentrations in comparison to hydrothermal quartz veins from various granitic-pegmatitic systems elsewhere. The development of relative Ce deficiencies (Ce/Ce*norm < 1) in silica deposits indicate preferential mobilisation of REE over Ce from source rocks by oxidised hydrothermal fluids, leading to relative Ce enrichment in the source material (e.g., rhyolite intrusions). Sinters and quartz veins and some volcanic source rocks show a conspicuous positive Y anomaly relative to REE. This is interpreted in terms of Y fractionation due to fluorine complexation with REE during hydrothermal activity. The majority of sinter and quartz samples within or near the Au mineralisation zone are more enriched in mobile elements (Cs, Li, Rb and Be) than the silica deposits from areas distal to the mineralised area. Normalised Y–REE patterns of the sinter deposits, quartz veins, and wall rocks provide important information on the physico-chemical environment of epithermal mineral deposition in geothermal systems. Trace element systematics as revealed in the current study, particularly in relation to the alkali element mobility, have significant implications for finding new prospect areas and evaluating the potential of existing prospect areas for epithermal metal deposits and active geothermal fields.  相似文献

Mercury distribution was determined in all types of solid materials from the supergene zone of geothermal deposits in southern Kamchatka: rocks, hydrothermally altered rocks (metasomatic rocks), soils, soil—pyroclastic cover, bottom sediments of perennial and intermittent streams, hydrothermal clays, artificial siliceous precipitates, and iron sulfides formed owing to thermal water discharge from a well. The mercury content varies from background values for the Kurile-Kamchatka region in fresh rocks to high and extremely high values in hydrothermal clays and monomineralic pyrite samples. The sources, migration conditions, and concentration mechanisms of mercury were evaluated. Mercury is supplied to the surface of geothermal deposits and thermal fields by a deep hydrothermal flow and is concentrated on thermodynamic barriers in hydrothermal clays, siliceous sinters (silica gel), and soils showing high salinity owing to the deposition in them of silica, sulfates, and other compounds from a vapor-water mixture. Newly formed clay minerals, iron sulfides (pyrite), silica gel, and biological materials (peat) can probably efficiently sorb mercury under geothermal conditions at atmospheric pressure and temperatures from 20°C to 120°C.  相似文献

本文选择3种成因的微晶岩石,用电子探针直接在光薄片上进行常规全岩成分分析的实验,并将实验结果与化学分析结果作对比,说明用电子探针粗束斑缓慢移动样品和用细束斑面积扫描两种方法,对某些岩石进行化学成分分析的可行性。作者还采用上述方法,对湘西沃溪Au-Sb-W矿床蚀变矿物晕进行矿物—地球化学微剖面研究,揭示了有关热液矿床围岩蚀变作用过程中元素迁移的规律、岩石退色的机理,提供了矿床成因的信息。  相似文献

Precisional analyses of the abundances of La, Ce, and major elements in thermal waters and rocks of the Uzon-Geyzernaya volcanotectonic depression, supplemented by published data on a number of modern high-temperature hydrothermal systems of Kamchatka and two other areas of the world, allowed defining genetically important patterns of rare-earth elements (REE) distribution. The La and Ce abundances positively correlate with silica contents both in fresh igneous rocks of the study areas and in the products formed by hydrothermal processes.All studied hydrothermal clays are enriched in La and Ce. The general enrichment trend is similar to the pattern of positive correlation between the La and Ce abundances. Geothermal waters display a strong relationship between REE enrichment and pH. Enhanced REE enrichment trend is observed in thermal waters with abundant SO42 ? and K. The REE versus Cl and B diagrams show two individual fields reflecting the level of acidity-alkalinity of thermal waters. These data demonstrate that La and Ce concentrations in the products of modern hydrothermal systems (in fluids and secondary mineral phases) are governed by wallrock composition, anionic water composition, and pH/Eh-dependent adsorption processes.  相似文献

An extinct hydrothermal barite-silica chimney from the Franklin Seamount of the Woodlark Basin, in the southwestern Pacific Ocean, was investigated for mineral distribution and geochemical composition. Six layers on either side of the orifice of a chimney show significant disparity in color, mineral assemblage and major element composition. Electron microscope(SEM) images reveal that the peripheral wall of the chimney is composed of colloform silica, suggesting that incipient precipitation of silica-saturated hydrothermal fluid initiated the development of the chimney wall. Intermediate layers, between the exterior wall and the inner fluid-orifice, dominate with barite and sulfides. Low Sr-to-Ba ratios(SrO/BaO = 0.015–0.017) indicate restricted fluid-seawater mixing, which causes relatively high-temperature formation of the intermediate layers. Whereas the innermost layer bordering the chimney orifice is characterized by more silica and a higher Sr-to-Ba ratio(SrO/BaO = 0.023), could have formed due to a paragenetic shift from a high-temperature active phase to a cooler waning stage of formation. A paragenetic shift is also probably responsible for the change in mineral formation mechanism that resulted in the textural variation of barite and colloform silica developed during different growth phases of this barite-silica chimney.  相似文献

Seven pyroxene varieties were identified in nepheline syenites and foidolites of the Khibiny pluton: enstatite, ferrosilite, diopside, hedenbergite, augite, aegirine-augite, and aegirine. Enstatite and augite are typical of alkaline and ultramafic rocks of dike series. Ferrosilite was found in country quartzitic hornfels. Diopside is a rock-forming mineral in alkaline and ultramafic rocks, alkali gabbroids, hornfels in xenoliths of volcanic and sedimentary rocks and foyaite, melteigite-urtite that assimilate them, and certain hydrothermal pegmatite veins. Hedenbergite was noted in hornfels from xenoliths of volcanic and sedimentary rocks and in a hydrothermal pegmatite vein at Mount Eveslogchorr. Aegirine-augite is the predominant pyroxene in all types of nepheline syenites, phonolites and tinguaites, foidolites, alkaline and ultramafic rocks of dike series, fenitized wall rocks surrounding the pluton, and xenoliths of Devonian volcanic and sedimentary rocks. Aegirine is an abundant primary or, more often, secondary mineral in nepheline syenites, foidolites, and hydrothermal pegmatite veins. It occurs as separate crystals, outer zones of diopside and aegirine-augite crystals, and homoaxial pseudomorphs after Na-Ca amphiboles. Microprobe analyses of 265 pyroxenes samples allowed us to distinguish ten principal trends of isomorphic replacement and corresponding typomorphic features of pyroxenes. Compositional variations in clinopyroxenes along the sampled 35-km profile from the margin of the Khibiny pluton to its center confirm the symmetric zoning of the foyaite pluton relative to semicircular faults of the Minor Arc and the Main (Central) Ring marked by Devonian volcanic and sedimentary rocks, foidolites, and related metasomatic rocks (rischorrite, albitite, and aegirinite). Changes in the composition of pyroxenes are explained mainly by the redistribution of elements between coexisting minerals of foyaites in the process of their intense differentiation under the effect of foidolite melts that have intruded into the circular fault zones.  相似文献

青田石主要是由叶腊石等粘土矿物组成的岩石,也是由气液交代变质作用形成的次生石英岩中的一个特殊品种。基于青田石的岩相学观察以及青田石的扫描电镜、X射线物相分析及全岩化学、稀土和微量元素地球化学分析,结合野外观察与前人研究成果,对青田石的岩石学特征、青田石的矿物成分与类型划分进行详细描述,论证了中酸性火山岩气液交代变质作用与青田石的成因。研究表明,青田石的矿物组合与原岩成分、交代流体的成分及交代变质作用的条件(如温度,压力)有关;青田石的颜色、质地(品级)及其矿物成分与显微结构及其所含的微量致色离子有关。在中—新生代中酸性火山岩分布区开展详细的野外地质填图和蚀变带的划分,是寻找高品级青田石的主要方法,也是评价与鉴定青田石中需要关注的问题。  相似文献

准噶尔盆地西北缘二叠系风城组内的云质岩、硅质岩是致密油藏重要的储集岩,目前对云质岩和与之伴生的硅质岩成因存在较大争议。通过岩心观察和对硅质岩的主量、微量、稀土及硅同位素的综合研究,以期揭示硅质岩的成因。研究表明,风城组中的硅质岩SiO2含量变化范围为55.15%~85.61%,为不纯的云质硅质岩,其内含有较多热水沉积矿物和碱湖沉积成因的盐类矿物。云质硅质岩主要围绕热液喷口分布,它们常与白云岩呈纹层状、条带状互层。云质硅质岩中硼异常富集,硼含量介于90×10^-6~10000×10^-6之间,平均680×10^-6,与盐类矿物硅硼钠石有关,反映了碱湖沉积成因;Sr/Ba值均大于1,Th/U值多在0.62~2.06之间,Sm/Nd值多在0.20~0.24之间。云质硅质岩的稀土配分显示出Eu负异常、Ce负异常或弱正异常及轻稀土相对重稀土富集的特征。δ^30Si值介于0.39‰~1.88‰之间,其δ^30Si和微量元素特征不反映典型热水成因。云质硅质岩的地质产状和地球化学特征共同表明,风二段和风三段云质硅质岩主要为热水和碱湖的混合沉积成因。硅质岩形成受喷口的位置、热水喷流期和各喷口喷流热水的温度等多方面因素的控制,硅质岩形成时存在多个喷口,在相对封闭的高盐度—碱性还原环境下的热水喷流期,热水与碱湖湖水混合,混合水沉积形成硅质、盐类矿物及白云石,最终形成含盐的云质硅质岩;热水喷流间歇期形成碱湖成因的含盐云质岩。  相似文献

中国东部许多金矿床产在中生代火山岩中,前人将其归于火山热液型矿床,作者将其划为冰长石-绢云母型低温浅成热液矿床,并讨论了其主要特征.许多产在变质岩和花岗岩中金矿过去分别归于变质热液和岩浆热液或者统称中温或中低温热液矿床,其中一部分作者也将其归于冰长石-绢云母型低温浅成热液矿床.这种矿床斑岩型金矿在空间上叠加,在国外有例子,在国内虽有争议,但有可能存在.文中讨论了美洲西部太平洋岛弧与中国东部矿床类型组合类似,但成矿时代有所差别,并从板块构造角度对比进行解释.作者强调指出,由于我国东部成矿时代老,剥蚀作用使得我们对这种矿床认识产生困难,但只要努力一定能打开找矿新思路.  相似文献

The paper reports Rb-Sr isotopic data obtained by the authors on ore-hosting rocks from the Kairagach epithermal Au-Ag deposit in the Kurama ore district in the Central Tien Shan, Uzbekistan. The influence of mineralizing hydrothermal solutions on the host volcanic rocks of andesite-dacite composition and the metasomatic alterations of these rocks are proved to have been resulted in with the homogenization of the Sr isotopic composition, i.e., its equalization between various modes of Sr occurrence. This offers additional possibilities of the application of the Rb-Sr isochron method in dating hydrothermal processes. The application of Rb-Sr isotopic methods in studying samples from the Kairagach deposit allowed the authors to obtain dates whose reliability corresponds to isochron one (291 ± 3 Ma) or is very close to it (290 ± 6 Ma). The data thus obtained provide good reasons to believe that the corresponding epithermal mineral deposits in the Kurama ore district (Kairagach, Kochbulak, and others) were genetically related to and simultaneous with the emplacement subvolcanic porphyry intrusions.  相似文献
