In order to understand the contribution of geogenic phosphorus to lake eutrophication, we have investigated the rate and extent of fluorapatite dissolution in the presence of two common soil bacteria (Pantoea agglomerans and Bacillus megaterium) at T = 25 °C for 26 days. The release of calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), and rare earth elements (REE) under biotic and abiotic conditions was compared to investigate the effect of microorganism on apatite dissolution. The release of Ca and P was enhanced under the influence of bacteria. Apatite dissolution rates obtained from solution Ca concentration in the biotic reactors increased above error compared with abiotic controls. Chemical analysis of biomass showed that bacteria scavenged Ca, P, and REE during their growth, which lowered their fluid concentrations, leading to apparent lower release rates. The temporal evolution of pH in the reactors reflected the balance of apatite weathering, solution reactions, bacterial metabolism, and potentially secondary precipitation, which was implied in the variety of REE patterns in the biotic and abiotic reactors. Light rare earth elements (LREE) were preferentially adsorbed to cell surfaces, whereas heavy rare earth elements (HREE) were retained in the fluid phase. Decoupling of LREE and HREE could possibly be due to preferential release of HREE from apatite or selective secondary precipitation of LREE enriched phosphates, especially in the presence of bacteria. When corrected for intracellular concentrations, both biotic reactors showed high P and REE release compared with the abiotic control. We speculate that lack of this correction explains the conflicting findings about the role of bacteria in mineral weathering rates. The observation that bacteria enhance the release rates of P and REE from apatite could account for some of the phosphorus burden and metal pollution in aquatic environments.  相似文献

The effect of metal loading on the binding of rare earth elements (REE) to humic acid (HA) was studied by combining ultrafiltration and Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry techniques. REE-HA complexation experiments were performed at pH 3 for REE/C molar ratios ranging from ca 4 × 10−4 to 2.7 × 10−2. Results show that the relative amount of REE bound to HA strongly increases with decreasing REE/C. A middle-REE (MREE) downward concavity is shown by patterns at high metal loading, whereas patterns at low metal loading display a regular increase from La to Lu. Humic Ion Model VI modelling are close to the experimental data variations, provided that (i) the ΔLK2 parameter (i.e. the Model VI parameter taken into account the presence of strong but low density binding sites) is allowed to increase regularly from La to Lu (from 1.1 to 2.1) and (ii) the published log KMA values (i.e. the REE-HA binding constants specific to Model VI) are slightly modified, in particular with respect to heavy REE. Modelling approach provided evidence that patterns with varying REE/C likely arises because REE binding to HA occurs through two types of binding sites in different density: (i) a few strong sites that preferentially complex the heavy REE and thus control the atterns at low REE/C; (ii) a larger amount of weaker binding sites that preferentially complex the middle-REE and thus control the pattern at high REE/C. Hence, metal loading exerts a major effect on HA-mediated REE binding, which could explain the diversity of published conditional constants for REE binding with HA. A literature survey suggests that the few strong sites activated at low REE/C could be multidentate carboxylic sites, or perhaps N-, or P-functional groups. Finally, an examination of the literature field data proposed that the described loading effect could account for much of the variation in REE patterns observed in natural organic-rich waters (DOC > 5 mg L−1 and 4 ? pH ? 7).  相似文献

以赣南大埠岩体西部峰山钻孔风化壳剖面为研究对象,在风化壳剖面各层地质特征研究的基础上,对风化壳剖面各层中含稀土矿物开展了扫描电镜和电子探针分析,探讨了风化壳剖面各层主、微量(包括稀土)元素和离子相稀土元素特征。研究表明,风化壳中稀土元素呈“弓背式”分布,矿体位于风化壳剖面2~9 m,w(REE)平均为516.8×10-6,离子相稀土元素浸出率为51%~84%,离子相与全项稀土元素总量分布特征一致。风化壳中稀土元素主要以离子吸附态形式和独立矿物(次生方铈矿和风化残余的磷钇矿、褐钇铌矿)形式存在,以离子吸附态形式为主。峰山风化壳离子吸附型稀土矿为轻、重稀土元素共生型稀土矿,以重稀土元素占主导,矿体上部相对富集轻稀土元素,下部相对富集重稀土元素。风化壳剖面中稀土元素的富集分异主要受轻重稀土元素地球化学行为的差异性、风化程度和黏土矿物含量联合控制。  相似文献

In this study, we examine the variations in rare earth elements (REE) from the Lower Kittanning coal bed of eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania, USA, in an attempt to understand the factors that control mineral matter deposition and modification in coal, and to evaluate possible REE mixed exposure hazards facing underground mine workers. The results of this study suggest that the Lower Kittanning coal mineral matter is derived primarily from a clastic source similar to that of the shale overburden. While highly charged cations like silicon, aluminum, and titanium remained relatively immobile within the coal mineral matter, iron (primarily as pyrite) was added from nonclastic sources, either during deposition of the coal mire vegetation or subsequent to burial. Other mobile cations (e.g., alkali and alkaline earth elements) appear to have been added to and/or leached from the originally deposited clastic mineral matter. Most of the sulfur in the Lower Kittanning coal bed is bound as FeS2 in the mineral matter, but a majority of samples contain a small excess of S that is most likely organically bound.In general, the total rare earth element content (TREE) in coal ash is greater than that in the shale overburden. If the primary source of mineral matter is the same as that for the overlying shale, then REE must have been enriched in the coal mineral matter subsequent to deposition. The total rare earth element content of Lower Kittanning coals correlates strongly with Si concentration ([TREE]≈0.0024 [Si]), which provides a threshold for evaluating possible mixed exposure health effects. Chondrite-normalized REE patterns reveal a shale-like light rare earth element (LREE) enrichment for the coal, similar to that of the shale overburden, again suggesting a primarily clastic REE source. However, when normalized to the shale overburden, most of the coal ash samples display a small but distinct heavy rare earth element (HREE) enrichment. We surmise that the HREE were added and/or preferentially retained during epigenesis, possibly associated with groundwater flow through the coal unit, but not necessarily in close association with the addition of iron. At least some of the “excess” HREE could be organically bound within the Lower Kittanning coal.  相似文献

伊春桃山花岗岩具有高硅、富碱和低钙、镁、偏铝质-过铝质特点,稀土元素配分模式以轻稀土元素略微富集且缓向右倾斜、重稀土元素较为平坦、具有铕亏损的海鸥型,富集高场强元素(HFS)Zr和Ga,亏损Ba、Sr、Eu等大离子亲石元素,与区域上晚二叠世-早侏罗世的正长-碱长花岗岩具有类似的岩石地球化学特征。花岗岩锆石CL图像表明,锆石具有明显的继承性核和新生的边,核部的稀土微量元素变化较大,而新生的锆石边部稀土微量元素较稳定,说明部分锆石的核部受到了后期热事件的影响,而边部则是溶解后再沉淀的产物,即岩浆结晶作用形成。但无论是核部还是边部,它们的微量元素特征都指示其形成于大陆地壳环境,而非洋壳环境。锆石SHRIMPU-Pb定年结果表明,继承性锆石核具有两组平均年龄,分别为2540±10Ma和2471±12Ma,新生的锆石边部平均年龄为1821±10Ma。结合上述特征,我们认为,桃山花岗岩的源岩年龄为2.54Ga,区域上构造热事件的年龄为2.47Ga,而花岗岩的结晶年龄为1.82Ga,因此,桃山花岗岩所在的地区可能为一前寒武纪的古老微陆块。  相似文献

Rare earth element and yttrium abundances in vitrain, xylain, liptain, fusain and whole coal samples from Bulgarian coal deposits have been studied. Vitrain, xylain, and liptain are depleted, while fusain is enriched in REE and Y as compared to the whole coal samples from which they were selected. Chondrite-normalized patterns show relative enrichment of light (LREE) against heavy (HREE) rare earth elements, negative Eu anomaly, and positive Lu anomaly. The shale-normalized patterns of the lithotypes reveal an increase from LREE to HREE, while those of the whole coal samples and mineral interlayers are less fractionated. The petrographic composition of the coals is of secondary importance for the concentration of the REE and Y. The main factors are the source area and the input of dissolved REE and Y into the coal depositional sites.  相似文献

应用LA-ICP-MS对马厂箐岩体中(似)斑状花岗岩的锆石进行了U-Pb定年和微量元素分析。在CL图像上,(似)斑状花岗岩中锆石均发育有典型的振荡环带,锆石的稀土元素配分模式表现为亏损轻稀土,富集重稀土,具有强烈正Ce异常和中度负Eu异常,且呈现出较高的Th/U比值等特征,表明所测锆石均为典型的岩浆锆石。马厂箐岩体(似)斑状花岗岩锆石U-Pb加权平均年龄为(33.78±0.21)Ma(MSWD=0.71),累计概率统计得到正长斑岩锆石U-Th-Pb年龄为(35.6±0.3)Ma、花岗斑岩锆石U-Th-Pb年龄为(35.0±0.2)Ma,宝兴厂矿段铜钼矿辉钼矿Re-Os等时线年龄分别为(35.8±1.6)Ma和(33.9±1.1)Ma,乱硐山矿段接触交代型金矿白云母40Ar/39Ar年龄为(35.25±0.36)Ma,人头箐—金厂箐矿段热液脉型金成矿白云母40Ar/39Ar年龄为(35.35±0.32)Ma,反映斑岩型铜钼矿化、接触交代型金矿化和热液脉型金矿化为同一个构造-岩浆-热液成矿系统的产物,Ⅱ期(33~37Ma)正长斑岩+二长斑岩+花岗斑岩+(似)斑状花岗岩岩性组合是成矿的地质体,为成矿提供了物质、流体和热动力条件,这期斑岩-热液-成矿系统的持续时间约为4Ma,铜、钼、金的成矿主要发生在Ⅱ期岩浆活动的早-中期。  相似文献

研究了邹家山铀矿床原始矿石中的稀土元素含量特征及其在酸浸过程中的行为。结果表明:(1)该矿床矿石中伴生的稀土元素总含量很高,∑REE平均含量达3231.55×10-6,其中HREE达2933.39×10-6,属珍贵的重稀土元素富集型,具有负Eu异常、Ce无异常的特征。(2)在强酸及氧化剂浸泡条件下,轻、重稀土元素的浸出行为明显不同。重稀土元素更易被浸出,其浸出率是轻稀土元素的2倍左右。在强酸或强酸加氧化剂浸泡下,随原子序数的增加,轻稀土元素(La~Eu)的浸出率较明显增加,而重稀土元素(Gd~Lu-Y)的浸出率则小幅度递减;15种稀土元素中Gd的浸出率最高,La的浸出率最低。(3)初步获得邹家山铀矿床伴生稀土元素酸法浸出的最佳硫酸浓度和氧化剂用量,即在硫酸浓度为30g/L的条件下,100mL的浸泡液中含有2mL30%的过氧化氢时,稀土元素浸出率可达到最高值。  相似文献

稀土的开发和广泛应用使得人们倍加关注其在环境中的分布及其环境地球化学行为。赣江作为鄱阳湖流域五大入湖河之一,发源于稀土资源富集的赣南地区,而其下游水体及周边地下水中稀土元素的含量和分异特征目前尚不完全清楚。以赣江北支水体及沉积物为研究对象,开展了稀土元素地球化学研究。结果表明,赣江北支水体中稀土元素总量在地表水中为230~1 146 ng/L(均值458.85 ng/L),地下水中为284~1 498 ng/L(均值634.94 ng/L),沉积物中稀土元素总量为177.9~270.7 mg/kg(均值226.99 mg/kg)。PHREEQC模拟计算表明,水体中的稀土元素主要以碳酸根络合物(REEC03+)的形式存在。地表水和地下水总体上均表现为重稀土元素相较于轻、中稀土元素富集,沉积物未表现出明显的富集特性;水体具有Ce、Eu负异常特点,而沉积物表现为Ce正异常和Eu负异常,指示氧化还原环境和水岩相互作用对稀土元素在水-沉积物系统中迁移转化的影响。地下水中稀土元素的含量沿流向具有上升趋势,而水体中重稀土元素的富集程度不断减弱,同时碳酸根络合物(REEC03+)的占比不断降低,反映水体中稀土元素的含量受到pH、胶体吸附、络合作用以及地下水-地表水相互作用的影响。水体中重稀土元素的富集受到碳酸根络合反应的影响,Ce、Eu负异常与Ce氧化沉淀和母岩特性相关。Gd异常值表明,研究区中下游水体中的Gd元素受到人为输入的影响。  相似文献

Rare earth elements in modern coral sands: an environmental proxy   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The concentration rare earth elements and Yttrium (REE + Y) were determined in coral sands from Kavaratti Island, Arabian Sea, India. Chondrite-normalized REE + Y patterns show: (1) high REE concentration particularly light REE (LREE) enrichment; (2) consistent negative Ce anomaly; (3) nearly chondritic Y/Ho ratios. All these features are consistent with the geochemistry of well oxygenated seawater with significant terrestrial contribution. The seawater composition of Nd/Yb ratio inferred from the coral record point to the dominance of LREE more than the heavy REE (HREE). The high terrestrial input rich in LREE and property of adsorption/scavenging processes of LREE than that of HREE may be the cause. Terrigenous contributions were detected on the basis of co-occurring trace element concentrations (Sc, Hf and Th) and Y/Ho ratio. Except for La, the REE distribution coefficients, KD(REE)s, are between 100 and 300. KDs are high comparing to the other elements in biogenic calcite which is attributed to detrital contamination during elemental incorporation. This study may not reflect original seawater chemistry but it can be a good proxy to indicate proximity of corals to terrigenous input sources.  相似文献

内蒙古东胜地区中侏罗统砂岩沉积物源的地球化学证据   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
基于显微薄片观察、稀土和微量元素分析探讨了鄂尔多斯盆地北部东胜地区中侏罗统直罗组砂岩的物源和铀矿化的地球化学特征。砂岩样品含有多种的变质岩岩屑应来自盆地北部的变质岩,那里的花岗片麻岩和斜长角闪岩分析显示:花岗片麻岩LREE/HREE为19.02,斜长角闪岩LREE/HREE为4.47。这两类母岩LREE/HREE比值分别接近于砂岩最高和最低LREE/HREE比值,其稀土配分曲线模式与砂岩LREE/HREE比值端元岩样可以对比,说明砂岩的母岩主要来自这两类变质岩。花岗片麻岩Th/U高,表明发生铀丢失,可作为本区铀成矿的重要铀源。有意义的是,铀含量高的样品,其LREE/HREE比值高,铀含量与亲硫的微量元素Pb、Zn和Mo具有相关关系,这些特征可作为铀矿化的重要标志。  相似文献

对贵州锦屏新元古代下江群地层剖面常量元素及稀土元素系统分析结果表明,该区下江群地层常量元素具有中等Si O2含量,介于57.54%~88.91%之间,平均68.32%,较低的Ca O含量(一般1%),较高的K2O/Na2O,Al2O3/Ti O2比值及较低的TFe2O3+Mg O含量。稀土总量ΣREE介于46.5×10-6~306.3×10-6之间,平均值为152.5×10-6,ΣLREE/ΣHREE为8.73~21.6,平均12.96,表明轻稀土相对富集,重稀土相对亏损;下江群各组段δEu在0.7~0.8之间,为弱负异常。稀土配分模式总体为右倾,而轻稀土分馏中等,重稀土分馏较低,表现在稀土配分曲线为轻稀土斜率较大,重稀土趋于平坦。通过各组段地球化学特征参数与参数投点可得:番召组与清水江组、平略组与隆里组具有相似地球化学特征,表明其构造环境相似且呈过渡变化,初步认为番召组与清水江组形成于活动大陆边缘的弧后盆地沉积,而平略组与隆里组为大陆边缘的边缘海沉积。  相似文献

采取了皖北任楼煤矿太原组灰岩和灰岩水样品进行稀土元素测试分析,结果显示灰岩样品稀土总量较低,平均为36.947×10-6,灰岩样品稀土配分模式表现为轻稀土富集、重稀土亏损型;灰岩水样品稀土总量平均为0.052 6×10-6,灰岩水样品轻、重稀土均富集,轻、重稀土之间分异明显。对灰岩含水层水岩相互作用进行研究,结果表明:轻稀土表现稳定,重稀土分异明显,尤其在Y处有一个明显的峰值;Y元素与Ca元素呈正相关关系,相比石灰岩,灰岩水的Y/Ho、Y/Dy分异更为明显。研究认为,灰岩水中Y元素的峰值效应也可作为灰岩水源识别的依据。  相似文献

不同类型铀矿床的沥青铀矿/晶质铀矿具有不同的稀土元素组成,其组成可作为判别铀矿床类型的重要指标。采用基于Python语言的主成分分析(principal component analysis,PCA)与支持向量机(support vector machines,SVM)结合的分类模型,对收集到的全球已知6种类型铀矿床的216组沥青铀矿/晶质铀矿稀土元素数据进行研究。以216组数据为训练集,通过数据清洗、特征缩放、PCA特征提取、网格搜索和交叉验证参数寻优构建SVM分类模型,对24组同变质型胡家峪晶质铀矿进行智能识别。研究结果显示:仅使用稀土元素的14维训练集最优模型判定胡家峪晶质铀矿类型的测试准确率为0.4%;由稀土元素、稀土总量、轻重稀土比、铕异常组成的17维训练集最优模型的测试准确率为75.0%,较14维训练集提高74.6%,模型泛化能力强;而通过传统稀土元素配分曲线、w(ΣREE)-(LREE/HREE)N图解不能有效判定胡家峪晶质铀矿类型。本次研究表明,PCA-SVM算法对增有传统稀土判别指标数据集进行挖掘可有效厘定铀氧化物成因类型,效果明显优于单纯的稀土元素数据集以及传统的稀土配分曲线、w(ΣREE)-(LREE/HREE)N图解。  相似文献

Abstract: The black shales of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation in Weng’an, on the Yangtze platform of south China, contain voluminous polymetallic sulfide deposits. A comprehensive geochemical investigation of trace, rare earth, and platinum group elements (PGE) has been undertaken in order to discuss its ore genesis and correlation with the tectono-depositional setting. The ore-bearing layers enrich molybdenum (Mo), nickel (Ni), vanadium (V), lead (Pb), strontium (Sr), barium (Ba) , uranium (U) , arsenic (As), and rare earth elements (REE) in abundance. High uranium/thorium (U/Th) ratios (U/Th>1) indicated that mineralization was mainly influenced by the hydrothermal process. The dU value was above 1.9, showing a reducing sedimentary condition. The REE patterns showed high enrichment in light rare earth elements (LREE) (heavy rare earth elements (HREE) (LREE/HREE=5–17), slightly negative europium (Eu) and cerium (Ce) anomalies (dEu=0.81–0.93), and positive Ce anomalies (dCe=0.76–1.12). PGE abundance was characterized by the PGE-type distribution patterns, enriching platinum (Pt), palladium (Pd), ruthenium (Ru) and osmium (Os). The Pt/Pd ratio was 0.8, which is close to the ratios of seawater and ultramafic rocks. All of these geochemical features suggest that the mineralization was triggered by hydrothermal activity in an extensional setting in the context of break-up of the Rodinian supercontinent.  相似文献

The competitive binding of rare earth elements (REE) to purified humic acid (HA) and MnO2 was studied experimentally using various HA/MnO2 ratios over a range of pH (3 to 8). MnO2, humic acid and REE solutions were simultaneously mixed to investigate the kinetics of the competitive reactions. Aqueous REE–HA complex is the dominant species whatever the experiment time, pH and HA/MnO2 ratio. The value of the distribution coefficients between MnO2 and solution (log KdRee/Mno2) increases with the HA/MnO2 ratio, indicating that part of the REE–HA complexes are adsorbed onto MnO2. The development of a Ce anomaly appears strongly limited in comparison with inorganic experimental conditions. Throughout the experimental run time, for HA/MnO2 ratios of less than 0.4, MnO2 acts as a competitor leading to a partial dissociation of the REE–HA complex. The majority of the dissociated REE is readsorbed onto the MnO2 surface. The readsorption of REE is expressed by an increased Ce anomaly on the log KdRee/Mno2 pattern as well as a change in shape of the coefficient distribution of REE between soluble HA and solution pattern (log KdRee/HA decrease for the heavy rare earth elements — HREE). Thus, REE are not only bound to MnO2 as a REE–HA complex, but also as REE(III). Moreover, the competition between HA and MnO2 for REE binding is shown to be higher at low pH (< 6) and low DOC/Mn ratio. This study partially confirms previous work that demonstrated the control of REE adsorption by organic matter, while shedding more light on the impact of pH as well as complexation reaction competition on long-term REE partitioning between solid surface and organic solutions. The latter point is important as regards to REE speciation under conditions typical of rock and/or mineral alteration.  相似文献

<正>Jinshan gold deposit is located in northeastern Jiangxi,South China,which is related to the ductile shear zone.It has a gold reserve of more than 200 tons,with 80%of gold occurring in pyrite. The LREE of gold-bearing pyrite is as higher as 171.664 ppm on average,with relatively higher light rare earth elements(LREE;159.556 ppm) and lower HREE(12.108 ppm).TheΣLREE/ΣHREE ratio is 12.612 and(La/Yb)_N is 11.765.These indicate that pyrite is rich in LREE.The(La/Sm)_N ratio is 3.758 and that of(Gd/Yb)_N is 1.695.These are obvious LREE fractionations.The rare earth element(REE) distribution patterns show obvious Eu anomaly with averageδEu values of 0.664,andδCe anomalies of 1.044.REE characteristics are similar to those of wall rocks(regional metamorphic rocks),but different from those of the Dexing granodiorite porphyry and Damaoshan biotite granite.These features indicate that the ore-forming materials in the Jinshan gold deposit derived from the wall rocks, and the ore-forming fluids derived from metamorphic water.The Co/Ni ratio(average value 0.38) of pyrite suggests that the Jinshan gold deposit formed under a medium-low temperature.It is inferred from the values of high-field strength elements,LREE,Hf/Sm,Nb/La,and Th/La of the pyrite that the ore-forming fluids of the Jinshan gold deposit derived from metamorphic water with ClF.  相似文献
