It gradually becomes a common work using large seismic wave data to obtain source parameters, such as seismic moment, break radius, stress drop, with completingof digital seismic network in China (Hough, et al, 1999; Bindi, et al, 2001). These parameters are useful on earthquake prediction and seismic hazard analysis.Although the computation methods of source parameters are simple in principle and the many research works have been done, it is not easy to obtain the parameters accurately. There are two factors affecting the stability of computation results. The first one is the effect of spread path and site respond on signal. According to the research results, there are different geometrical spreading coefficients on different epicenter distance. The better method is to introduce trilinear geometrical spreading model (Atkinson, Mereu, 1992; Atkinson, Boore, 1995; WONG, et al, 2002). In addition, traditional site respond is estimated by comparing with rock station, such as linear inversion method (Andrews, 1982), but the comparative estimation will introduce some errors when selecting different stations. Some recent research results show that site respond is not flat for rock station (Moya, et al, 2000; ZHANG,. et al, 2001; JIN, et al, 2000; Dutta, et al, 2001). The second factor is to obtain low-frequency level and corner frequency fromdisplacement spectrum. Because the source spectrum model is nonlinear function,these values are obtained by eye. The subjectivity is strong. The small change of corner frequency will affect significantly the result of stress drop.  相似文献

在充分考虑了岩石的非均匀性引起的Rayleigh散射对衰减测量值的影响后,通过有关理论和计算,将岩石的本征衰减和散射加以区分,对原先以均匀介质为基本假定的频谱比法进行了修正,改进后的频谱比法可在较宽的频率范围内进行Q值计算,避免了传统频谱比法在不同频段上得出不同的Q值的不确定性问题,同时,我们还引进并改进了频率移动法,我们将传统和改进的频谱比法,以及频率移动法应用于同一套实验数据,计算结果符合较好。  相似文献

由于地下介质对地震波能量有强烈的吸收作用,降低了地震资料的分辨率以及地震资料处理、解释的精度,因此选择合适的参数对地层吸收衰减情况进行有效描述是对地下构造进行高分辨率、高精度处理及解释的有效途径。目前品质因子Q是对岩石弹性参数进行有效描述的重要参数之一。用品质因子Q来衡量地震波能量在介质中传播的吸收衰减情况,是目前提高地震资料分辨率的有效方法,同时也是提高含油气地层解释精度的有效途径。近些年,许多学者提出了多种计算Q值的方法,其中谱比法是在实际中应用最为广泛的Q值估计方法。本文在前人方法的基础上,对谱比法进行了改进,并结合走时层析方法反演Q值,充分利用谱比法在精度、稳定性等方面的优势以及走时层析方法计算效率高的优点,不仅可以提高反演的精度而且能够保证反演的稳定性,提高计算效率。通过模型试算证明谱比法衰减层析方法能有效估计Q值变化情况,具有较好的发展前景。   相似文献

黏弹性衰减因子Q的可靠估计可通过Q反褶积来提高地震资料的分辨率并有助于振幅分析. 本文从小波理论出发,结合地震波在黏弹性介质中的传播方程,推导出小波尺度域地震波能量衰减公式. 能量衰减公式具有下列性质:(1)Q值越大,能量衰减得越慢;Q值越小,能量衰减越严重;(2)尺度越小,信号中保留的能量越少;(3)对于脉冲源来说在理想的无衰减介质(即Q趋近于∞)中传播时,信号在不同尺度内的能量相同. 利用尺度能量公式,可从反射地震资料中直接估计品质因子Q(即衰减因子),也可以提取不同尺度的能量衰减剖面作为储层描述的属性参数,用来进行岩性识别和指示气藏,与经典的谱比法相比,避免了谱比法所面临的双时窗问题以及进行谱估计的窗选择问题. 理论模型试验表明了本文方法的正确性和有效性.  相似文献

Ten methods for the computation of attenuation have been investigated, namely: amplitude decay, analytical signal, wavelet modelling, phase modelling, frequency modelling, rise-time, pulse amplitude, matching technique, spectral modelling and spectral ratio. In particular, we have studied the reliability of each of these methods in estimating correct values of Q using three synthetic VSP seismograms for plane P-waves with different noise contents. The investigations proved that no single method is generally superior. Rather, some methods are more suitable than others in specific situations depending on recording, noise or geology. The analytical signal method has been demonstrated to be superior if true amplitude recordings are available. Otherwise spectral modelling or, in the ‘ noise-free’ case the spectral ratio method, is optimal. Finally, two field VSPs in sediments are investigated. Only in the case of the highest quality VSP can significant information be deduced from the computed attenuation.  相似文献

当参考场地震源距小于研究场地震源距时,传统谱比法低估了场地放大效应,且参考场地与研究场地震源距相差越大,低估程度越大;当参考场地震源距大于研究场地震源距时,传统谱比法高估了场地放大效应,且参考场地与研究场地震源距相差越大,高估程度越大,计算结果依赖参考场地的选择。上述问题存在的原因是传统谱比法估计场地放大效应时未考虑地震波传播过程中介质的吸收衰减作用,故传统谱比法适用于参考场地与研究场地地质构造类似且震源距相差较小的情况,为此本文通过考虑介质对地震波的吸收衰减作用,提出改进谱比法,可适用于地质构造类似、任意震源距的情况。本文分别采用未改进方法和改进方法估计汶川地震中渭河盆地多个台站场地反应,证实了传统谱比法存在的上述问题。采用改进谱比法估计的场地放大倍数均在2 Hz以下出现1个峰值,且这些峰值多为最大值;采用未改进谱比法估计的场地放大倍数峰值出现的频率多大于2 Hz;改进谱比法可信度较高。  相似文献

The attenuation factor QP at the top of the inner core is evaluated by using the amplitude spectral ratio of PKPdf and PKPbc phases observed at African stations (BGCA mostly), from strong deep earthquakes in the Pacific Ocean area. The maximum depth of penetration of the PKPdf phase into the inner core (IC) is roughly 377 km, and the sampled region of IC is centered beneath the Southern Indian Ocean. The derived mean value of QP is 249 ± 31 (95% confidence level) in the frequency range 0.2–2 Hz, where no frequency dependence of attenuation has been reliably observed. By using Student’s t-test, we show that the value is statistically significantly different (with a probability greater than 95%) from other mean values of Q derived by using the same method, for both the western (180 °W to 40 °E) and eastern (40 °E to 180 °E) hemispheres of the IC. The decrease of Q with the radius of the turning point (denoted by rTP), according to QP = 840 − 0.62 rTP, has a moderate statistical support (the R-squared value is 38%). A slightly increase of Q as a function of the angle of the PKPdf path within the inner core with respect to the Earth’s spin axis is observed, in agreement with various investigations performed in the time domain. However, the value of the anisotropy, if any, is suggested to be around 3%.  相似文献

A Method of estimating attenauation from the first arrivals of VSP data is presented. The motivation is the desire to investigate the effects of scattering on wave propagation, and particularly the apparent attenuation and associated phase delay due to fine layering (the O'Doherty-Anstey effect). In order to take account of the frequency dependence of the predicted scattering attenuation, and to provide robust statistics for the estimates, a beam-forming method is used to measure the attenuation. This simularaneously estimates the slowness and polarization angle of the different wave modes, and results in attenuation measurements which are largely free of interference from reflected and mode-converted energy. By working in the frequency domain and measuring amplitude decay with depth, the frequency dependence of the attenuation is also accounted for. The beam-forming algorithm works in two passes, the first of which estimates slownesses and polarization angles over a small depth range, while the second uses the information from the first pass over a larger depth range to estimate attenuation. An approximate error analysis of the method shows that the standard variance of the estimated Q values is proportional to Q2 and the data quality (measured by its spectral coherence), and inversely proportional to the square of the analysis depth range and the square of the frequency. Hence the depth resolution is traded against the stability of the results. The method is applied to a zero-offset three-component VSP. The data are of good quality, with a bandwidth ranging from 180 Hz in the shallow part to 100 Hz in the deepest part. Stable results were obtained using a 450 m depth range. Above about 50 Hz, there is little evidence of frequency dependence in the attenuation. There is a clear division in depth into layers of higher and lower attenuation, with values of Q typically between 50 and 200. Below 50 Hz, however, attenuation increases rapidly with decreasing frequency throughout the depth range, with values of Q of less than 10 at 15 Hz. This behaviour appears anomalous since on physical grounds we expect very high values of Q at low frequency, and we have no explanation for these observations.  相似文献

回顾了实验室中超声波测量Q值的四种常用方法:上升时间法、回声法、频谱振比法和波形反演法。在综合了回声法和频谱振幅比法优点的基础上,提出等效声阻抗法。该方法借助于参考样品,利用其一、二次波的振幅谱,计算换能器和耦合层的等效声阻抗,进而由等测样品的一、二次波振幅普计算其衰减,求得其与频率有关的Q值。对振幅谱进行了扩散校正,并利用方法一了有机玻璃和饱水岩石样品的Q值。对该方法的可靠性也进行了讨论。  相似文献
