The auxiliary functions, namely amplitude, phase, envelope and instantaneous frequency of Hilbert transform over gravity anomalies of 2-D sphere, vertical fault block and horizontal circular cylinder are studied. The characteristics of these functions are established in locating and identifying the sources. The method is illustrated with a theoretical example in each case and supported by field data of gravity anomaly over Humble dome and spherical model of the Satak-Mansar area, Nagpur District, India.  相似文献

A method coupled with a GUI based computer program, FRGMLSTRK, coded in JAVA, has been developed to interactively model the gravity anomalies of strike-limited listric fault sources where the detached hanging wall of the structure consists of several geologic formations that have different densities and thicknesses. The program is simple and user friendly in the sense that it allows interactive model construction and modification, the display of fault geometry, depth and the densities of various sub-surface formations, and real-time computation of the gravity anomalies arising from the model. The non-planar fault planes are analytically constructed by fitting a polynomial function of arbitrary but specific degree to a set of points selected on the fault plane by means of a few mouse clicks in the structure panel of the graphical layout. Further, input parameters pertaining to depths and densities of formations can be specified by means of mouse clicks in respective panels. Subsequent changes in these parameters can be realized by simple drag and drop mouse operations. The modeled gravity anomalies are automatically updated and displayed whenever changes are made to: (i) the geometry of the fault plane; (ii) depths of density interfaces; and (iii) densities of formations. These changes can be made either independently or in combination. In addition to displaying the results in graphical form, the code also generates the output in ASCII format. The applicability of the code is demonstrated with both a simple synthetic model and real-world gravity anomalies from the margin of the Chintalpudi sub-basin in India.  相似文献

A very fast simulated annealing(VFSA) global optimization is used to interpret residual gravity anomaly.Since,VFSA optimization yields a large number of best-fitted models in a vast model space;the nature of uncertainty in the interpretation is also examined simultaneously in the present study.The results of VFSA optimization reveal that various parameters show a number of equivalent solutions when shape of the target body is not known and shape factor 'q' is also optimized together with other model parameters.The study reveals that amplitude coefficient k is strongly dependent on shape factor.This shows that there is a multi-model type uncertainty between these two model parameters derived from the analysis of cross-plots.However,the appraised values of shape factor from various VFSA runs clearly indicate whether the subsurface structure is sphere,horizontal or vertical cylinder type structure.Accordingly,the exact shape factor(1.5 for sphere,1.0 for horizontal cylinder and 0.5 for vertical cylinder)is fixed and optimization process is repeated.After fixing the shape factor,analysis of uncertainty and cross-plots shows a well-defined uni-model characteristic.The mean model computed after fixing the shape factor gives the utmost consistent results.Inversion of noise-free and noisy synthetic data as well as field data demonstrates the efficacy of the approach.  相似文献

The Delijan region of Central Iran is a popular tourist spot due to the occurrence of hot springs and having the greatest geothermal fields in Iran. In the years 2011 and 2012, an integrated geophysical investigation, using magnetic and gravity methods, was conducted over the hot springs in order to characterize geophysical anomaly sources corresponding to the geothermal resources. The results of the geophysical investigations revealed the heat source and the reservoir of the Delijan geothermal system (DGS). Based on results of Euler depth estimation and 3D inversion of magnetic and gravity data, the depths and extension of the discovered structures were determined with a good correlation with the geological information. The results of magnetic interpretation show that the main source (heat source) of the geothermal system is located NE of the Delijan-Abgarm fault (DAf) zone at depths of 2500 to 5000 m, and the results of gravity interpretation show that the reservoir of the geothermal system is located along the DAf zone at depths of 1000 to 4000 m. Also, the horizontal gradients of gravity data reveal complex fault systems which are acting as the preferential paths to circulate the hydrothermal fluids.  相似文献

Inversion of residual gravity anomalies using neural network   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
A new approach is presented in order to interpret residual gravity anomalies from simple geometrically shaped bodies such as horizontal cylinder, vertical cylinder, and sphere. This approach is mainly based on using modular neural network (MNN) inversion for estimating the shape factor, the depth, and the amplitude coefficient. The sigmoid function has been used as an activation function in the MNN inversion. The new approach has been tested first on synthetic data from different models using only one well-trained network. The results of this approach show that the parameter values estimated by the modular inversion are almost identical to the true parameters. Furthermore, the noise analysis has been examined where the results of the inversion produce satisfactory results up to 10% of white Gaussian noise. The reliability of this approach is demonstrated through two published real gravity field anomalies taken over a chromite deposit in Camaguey province, Cuba and over sulfide ore body, Nornada, Quebec, Canada. A comparable and acceptable agreement is obtained between the results derived by the MNN inversion method and those deduced by other interpretation methods. Furthermore, the depth obtained by the proposed technique is found to be very close to that obtained by drilling information.  相似文献

笔者对地球内部压力分析提出了楔状体压力模式,即地球内部某深度单位面积(水平)上的压力(垂向)等于由该截面和所有经由该截面边缘的重力线所围限的楔状岩体的重量。据此模式,理论上地球内部压力随深度呈抛物线状急增,在地心处无穷大。但由于地球固液(塑)圈层交替存在及冷收缩,导致楔状岩体重力引起的作用力可分解成水平的侧向压力和垂向静岩压力,并随深度呈锯齿状升降变化。当岩石圈侧向压力增加导致岩石圈破裂(构成板块),在重力的向心力作用下,板块间相互错动形成俯冲带和拉张带,继而牵引软流圈构成远程对流运动,进而引发一系列地质构造作用。因此认为,地球的构造动力源于地球重力本身,其中侧向压力是地质构造的初始起动力和驱动力,引起的对流运动既是地质构造运动学表征又是动力学作用,重力势能及其转变的热能构成对流运动的最主要动力能源。  相似文献

A simple technique for the interpretation of gravimagnetic anomalies by a numerical differentiation is presented. The ratio of horizontal gradient to the observed field was used for the location of the origin and depth to the causative body. This technique was tested by using fundamental expressions due to sphere, horizontal cylinder and vertical fault models and field data over a spherical body. It has been found that the depth to the centre of the body can be determined accurately by this technique.  相似文献

An automatic modeling scheme is developed in the space domain to interpret the gravity anomalies of sedimentary basins, among which the density contrast decreases exponentially with depth. Forward modeling is realized in the space domain using a combination of both analytical and numerical approaches. A collage of vertical prisms having equal widths, whose depths are to be estimated, describes the geometry of a sedimentary basin. Initial depths of a sedimentary basin are predicted using the Bouguer slab formula and subsequently updated, iteratively, based on the differences between the observed and theoretical gravity anomalies until the modeled gravity anomalies mimic the observed ones. The validity and applicability of the method is demonstrated with a synthetic and two real field gravity anomalies, one each over the Chintalpudi sub-basin in India and the other over the San Jacinto graben, California. In case of synthetic example, the assumed structure resembles a typical intracratonic rift basin formed by normal block faulting and filled with thick section of sediments. The proposed modeling technique yielded information that is consistent with the assumed parameters in the case of synthetic structure and with the available/drilling depths in case of field examples.  相似文献

针对传统DEXP快速成像结果依赖于地质体构造指数的缺点,笔者提出了利用重力异常不同阶垂向导数比值DEXP的方法。该方法使得成像结果独立于地质体构造指数。地质体的深度估计完全自动化,仅需要寻找比值DEXP成像结果的极大值点位置。通过该方法估计出的深度结果,可以进行地质体构造指数的估计。通过模型试验,证明该方法能准确地估计出地质体的深度位置以及地质体的类型。将该方法应用到Bell Geospace公司在Vinton Dome测得的Air--FTG全张量重力梯度数据中取得了很好的结果。  相似文献

提出利用余弦变换,研究规则体重力异常谱特征及反演方法。推导出球体、无限长水平圆柱体、无限和有限延伸垂直台阶的重力异常余弦变换谱及反演表达式。球体与无限长水平圆柱体的余弦变换谱相似,无限延伸垂直台阶的变化很尖锐,有限台阶的表现为上、下有规律的跳跃。在模型反演算例中,选择了适当的采样间隔和“趋势镶边”法,反演的圆柱体线密度和轴心深度误差分别为0.25%和3.8%。  相似文献

An interpretation procedure is formulated using the Hilbert transform for analysing the gravity effect of (a) two-dimensional horizontal circular cylinder, (b) semi-infinite thin fault block, and (c) a geologic contact. In all three cases the abscissa of the point of intersection of the gravity anomaly curve or the horizontal derivative curve and its Hilbert transform yields directly the depth of the body. The proposed method is tested on theoretical models. Also, the method is applied to the field data of a geologic contact taken over the Himalayan foothills across the Brahmaputra valley.  相似文献

本文对2003年12月26日伊朗东南部克尔曼省巴姆地区发生的6.6级地震产生的位移场、应变场和应力降分布进行了定量研究。首先从差分干涉雷达(D~InSAR)出发,求解出此次地震的同震干涉条纹和雷达视线方向的位移场,并从雷达干涉的相干图上清楚的观察到了发震断层的痕迹,得出此次地震的发震断层是巴姆断层以西的隐伏断层的结论。然后结合 Harvard 的 CMT(震源机制解)结果、Nakamura 的断层结果(Arg-e-Bam 隐伏断层)以及本文 D-InSAR 求解出的发震断层结果,利用 Okada 程序,计算出此次地震的北、东、垂向三个位移分量,投影得到雷达视线方向的位移,将投影结果与由 D-InSAR得到的位移场比较,看到我们所讨论的断层模式可以很好的解释差分干涉雷达的观测结果,可以合理的解释 Arg-e-Bam 隐伏断层为此次地震的发震破裂断层,通过分析地震的破坏程度分布图,隐伏断层为发震断层的解释可以很好的符合巴姆地震的等震分布图。最后,本文利用 Okada 程序计算得到了此次地震所产生的应变场和应力降场。  相似文献

This report details the result of geophysical exploration for iron ore; which involved vertical magnetic intensity (?Z) and gravity measurements, to delineate the geometry and depth extent of the deposit and acquiring quantitative and qualitative information for pre-drilling purposes in Agbado-Okudu. It is located about 3 km from Jakura along Lokoja-Jakura marble quarry and within low latitude precambrian basement complex district of Kogi State, Nigeria. A total of 517 magnetic measurement points along 16 traverses and 330 gravity reading along 11 profiles on the deposit in northeast–southwest azimuth were undertaken. The magnetic and gravity data enhancement involved linear regression curve fitting and fast Fourier transform, which were used to construct residual magnetic (RM) and gravity (RG) anomalies, analytic signal amplitude, Euler deconvolution at varying spectral indices (SI), power spectrum, and source parameter image (SPI), using the submenu of Geosoft Oasis Montaj software. Interpretation of the RM and RG anomalies revealed a primary causative body which perfectly correlates the positive anomalies and iron ore deposit, in form of a horizontal or gently dipping dyke with strike length of 600 m and average width of 110–130 m, within the gneiss complex in the north and trending south of the area. A secondary causative body associated with the negative anomalies and inferred as a vertical/near vertical thin sheet striking northeast–southwest coincided with the granitic and quartzitic intrusion. The NW–SE and E–W lineament trend conformed Kibarian and Liberian orogeny cycles of generally known structural trends in Nigeria, which shows that the iron ore deposit is structurally controlled. Depths to sources were estimated within range ≤ 2–24 m and 37.5–60 m, regarded as shallow and relatively deep depths, respectively. Ten vertical boreholes ranging in depth between 50 and 100 m are recommended, five of which require a priority attention to ascertain the thickness of the primary causative body.  相似文献

This paper shows the potential of gravity data to map a buried landfill bottom topography. To this end, a gravity inversion method is presented for estimating the landfill’s bottom depths at discrete points assuming a decrease of the density contrast with depth according to a hyperbolic law. The method’s efficiency was tested using synthetic data from simulated waste landfills, producing estimated bottom topographies very close to the true ones. The method’s potentiality has been further evaluated in applying it to the gravity data from the abandoned Thomas Farm Landfill site, Indiana, USA, whose bottom topography is known. The estimated topography showed close agreement with the known Thomas Farm Landfill’s bottom topography.  相似文献

利用重力归一化总梯度方法可以寻找场源位置,通过“两高夹一低”的典型场特征可以检测油气构造,传统的方法主要采用的是别列兹金法(即傅立叶级数法)和傅立叶变换法。利用DCT法计算重力归一化总梯度是最新研究方法。从理论上给出了基于DCT的重力异常转换公式,进而研究了无限长水平圆柱体、三度体非含油气球冠以及储油球冠模型GH场特征。模型实验证实:随着地质体埋深的增大,谐波数会逐渐减小,GH场奇点极大值向下移动,且呈现线性衰减的特征;储油球冠GH场等值线表现出明显的“两高夹一低”的储油气藏典型标志;用DCT法计算的GH场具有优良的稳定性,而且能够增加向下延拓的计算深度。  相似文献

Boundary faults associated with thick sedimentary basins are more often curved in cross section rather than planar. We develop a space domain-based automatic gravity inversion technique to quantify such listric fault sources from a set of observed gravity anomalies. The density contrast within the hanging wall of fault morphology is presumed to be known according to a prescribed exponential law. Furthermore, the fault plane is described by a polynomial function of arbitrary but specific degree, whose coefficients become the unknown parameters to be estimated from a set of observed gravity anomalies in addition to the thickness of the fault structure. Using a set of characteristic anomalies, the present inversion identifies approximate parameters pertaining to the origin of fault plane and depth to decollement horizon. Based on the errors between the observed and model gravity anomalies of the structure, the algorithm constructs and solves a system of normal equations to estimate the improvements in depth and coefficients of the polynomial in an iterative approach until one of the specified convergence criteria is fulfilled. The efficacy of the algorithm is shown with the analysis of gravity anomalies attributable to a synthetic model of a listric fault source in the presence of pseudorandom noise. Application of the proposed inversion technique on the observed gravity anomalies of the Ahri-Cherla master fault of the Godavari subbasin in India using the derived exponential density contrast model has yielded an interpretation that is consistent with the available/reported information.  相似文献

To estimate the groundwater flow around a borehole heat exchanger (BHE), thermal properties of geological core samples were measured and a thermal response test (TRT) was performed in the Tsukuba upland, Japan. The thermal properties were measured at 57 points along a 50-m-long geological core, consisting predominantly of sand, silt, and clay, drilled near the BHE. In this TRT, the vertical temperature in the BHE was also monitored during and after the test. Results for the thermal properties of the core samples and from the monitoring indicated that groundwater flow enhanced thermal transfers, especially at shallow depths. The groundwater velocities around the BHE were estimated using a two-dimensional numerical model with monitoring data on temperature changes. According to the results, the estimated groundwater velocity was generally consistent with hydrogeological data from previous studies, except for the data collected at shallow depths consisting of a clay layer. The reasons for this discrepancy at shallow depths were predicted to be preferential flow and the occurrence of vertical flow through the BHE grout, induced by the hydrogeological conditions.  相似文献

为研究北京西郊玉泉山地区岩溶水径流路径,需查明区内地层结构和断裂构造发育情况,故在玉泉山周边地区开展了综合地球物理勘查工作。完成1∶25000面积性重力测量3670点,在重力数据解释推断成果基础上,有针对性地布设可控源音频大地电磁测深(CSAMT)剖面测量5.1 km及微动测深点4个。综合研究了基岩起伏形态和构造展布特征,新解释推断了10条可能存在的断裂构造。结合区域水文地质资料,对主要断裂的水文地质意义进行了分析,形成了玉泉山地区岩溶水强径流路径新的认识,部分成果与最新的同位素水化学研究成果一致。本研究为玉泉山泉恢复确定合理的回灌方案提供了地球物理依据。  相似文献
