南海北部陆缘的构造属性问题   总被引:34,自引:1,他引:33  
以1号断裂为界,南海北部陆缘可分为东,西两段:东段包括北部湾盆地,琼东南盆地,珠江口盆地和台西盆地等,西段包拓莺歌海盆地。两者构造形变特征存在一定的差异性:东段盆地边界断层主要为NE-EW向,为分支断层通过不同类型转换坡连接而成的多支正断层系,因断层位移沿走向有规律变化,在其上盘发育相关褶皱,如横向褶皱;西段盆地边界断层也是由多条分支断层连接的多支断层系,但方向为NW向,以走滑作用为主,上盘没有发育断层相关褶皱。结合新生代岩浆作用,沉降和充填作用及地壳结构等特征分析,南海北部陆缘东段在构造活动上可以分成三个相对活跃时期,即50-40,30-28和10-5Ma左右。每一期拥有各自的特点,并具有不同的动力学来源,前两期与南海的扩张关系密切,3则与南海扩张无成因联系。南海北部陆缘虽然有一定的岩浆活动,但不是张烈的同期产物,因而它在形成机制上属于非火山型被动大陆边缘,其活动性因素是受周边板块相互作用的叠加所致。西段从成因机制上来讲并不属于南海北部陆缘,可能与印-藏碰撞关系更为密切。  相似文献

南海西北陆坡火成岩体地震识别及分布规律   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
本文根据南海西北陆坡西沙海区及周缘地球物理资料,分析了火成岩体的形态特征及识别特征,并结合南海及周缘地区岩石学测年数据,对该区火成岩进行了期次划分,总结了各期分布规律。研究发现,本区火成岩体代表性产状主要有平柱状、锥状的喷出型,及星状刺穿侵入型。利用地震反射特征通过火成岩体与围岩接触总结了三个判断火成岩形成时代的标准分别为:接触关系、上覆地层沉积厚度及两侧地层对比,从而识别出同扩张期火成岩,并将本区火成岩形成时代分为三期:南海扩张期(32~16 Ma),岩浆活动主要集中在西北次海盆和西沙隆起边界,琼东南盆地及中建盆地也有零星分布;扩张结束后的早期(16~5.5 Ma),岩浆活动规模小、数量少,只零星分布在西沙隆起内,研究区的其他地方并不存在该期岩浆活动;扩张结束后的晚期(5.5 Ma至今),火成岩体个体面积较小、数量众多、分布广泛,几乎在全区都有分布,并可见部分该期火成岩与南海扩张期的火成岩呈明显的继承关系。本研究证实南海扩张期间,陆坡虽有岩浆活动,但较之火山型张裂边缘其规模较小,没有形成大火成岩省,也没有发现火山型张裂边缘中典型的向海倾斜反射(SDR),为南海北部陆缘是岩浆匮乏型张裂陆缘这一观点提供了坚实的依据。扩张结束后的晚期,即自5.5 Ma以来岩浆活动剧烈,与莺歌海盆地、琼东南盆地及西沙海区异常热沉降直接相关,并推测该期岩浆活动可能与海南地幔柱有关。  相似文献

南海北部陆坡发育海底火山。海底火山的发育是否有利于天然气水合物的成藏是该区进行水合物勘探首先要考虑的一个关键问题。通过地震剖面解释、建立地质模型,并通过模型温度场计算,认为发生岩浆底侵时,高温岩浆使水合物稳定域的厚度变薄。随着热量的散失,水合物稳定域的厚度逐渐恢复。底侵的深度较浅时,水合物稳定域减薄的幅度增大,恢复周期变短。对海底火山喷发的情况,水合物稳定域将完全不存在,但其恢复的时间更短。岩浆底侵深度为6 km时,其对水合物稳定域的影响周期为1 Ma左右。南海北部东沙运动和流花运动都伴随着规模性的火山活动,两次构造运动期间岩浆侵入、侵出引起的热效应到目前为止已对该区水合物稳定域的发育没有影响,但海底火山活动对增大地层的孔隙与通道,从而对甲烷气体的运聚和水合物的成藏都能起到积极的作用。火山活动引起的高地温梯度,对生物甲烷的产生也将起到一定的帮助,从而有利于水合物的形成。南海北部陆坡火山区仍是天然气水合物勘探的有利靶区。  相似文献

辽南变质核杂岩形成于晚中生代华北岩石圈伸展和减薄背景下,其演化过程分为三个阶段:第一阶段(约130Ma),在伸展作用下辽南地区发育拆离断层及其下伏韧性剪切带;第二阶段(130~120Ma),同构造花岗质岩体的主动侵位影响了拆离断层的演化;同时在124Ma变质核杂岩的构造-岩浆活动达到峰值;第三阶段(113Ma之后)花岗质岩体在较浅层次侵位于停止活动的拆离断层带。辽南变质核杂岩发育与演化过程在年代学意义上揭示了华北板块晚中生代时期的区域性岩石圈伸展与减薄过程。本文认为由伸展后期侵位的赵房岩体所记录的拆离断层停止的时限(113Ma)可以作为华北岩石圈强烈构造岩浆活动的转捩点,113Ma之前华北板块广泛发育变质核杂岩、拉分盆地等一系列伸展构造,之后则以平稳的隆升和冷却过程为主。  相似文献

塔里木盆地西北部卷入了西南天山新生代板内造山活动,以发育一系列北东向展布的断层和断层相关褶皱为特征,但该区新生代构造变形的原因尚存在争议。文中以皮羌盆地为例报道了新生代火成岩的地质特征和测年结果,认为构造变形是对幔源岩浆活动的浅部响应,与印度 亚洲大陆碰撞没有必然的联系。皮羌盆地出露有大量的新生代基性岩墙和4个古火山颈,岩墙群整体走向NNW和NNE,产状近于直立,侵入于新生界湖相沉积地层中。火山颈相玄武岩锆石SHRIMP U Pb定年结果为46 Ma,全岩K Ar等时线封闭年龄为(455±613) Ma,表明岩浆活动发生在始新世中期。岩浆活动时间比逆冲推覆构造启动时间(约24 Ma)早约22 Ma。按热传导模式估算,在此期间来自深部热源的热传递距离约为25 km。假定深部热源为底侵或内侵幔源岩浆,新生代岩浆活动可能是塔里木盆地西北部大规模构造变形的触发机制。  相似文献

西准噶尔萨尔托海花岗岩株锆石U-Pb年代学及地质意义   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
新疆西准噶尔萨尔托海蛇绿岩与下石炭统呈逆冲断层接触,后被达尔布特走滑断层所改造,是西准噶尔地区时代最新、规模最大的蛇绿混杂岩带。萨尔托海岩株侵入于萨尔托海蛇绿混杂岩带之中,岩体岩性为肉红色二长花岗岩。对花岗岩样品进行测年,新获得LA-ICPMS锆石U-Pb年龄(309±3)Ma(2σ),代表了花岗岩结晶时代,较区域花岗岩基如庙尔沟、加甫萨尔苏等岩体的形成时代略老。综合蛇绿岩及区域岩体时代和岩石学特征等,认为该年龄限定了蛇绿岩侵位时代上限,揭示其属区域伸展背景的产物,标志着区域俯冲作用已经结束。因此,西准噶尔地区至少在309 Ma以后不存在俯冲作用,该认识有助于理解新疆北部多期次岩浆活动的时限和性质。  相似文献

日喀则蛇绿岩位于雅鲁藏布构造带中段,其成因和构造环境仍存在较大争议。日喀则蛇绿岩下部为蛇纹石化地幔橄榄岩,壳幔过渡带缺失超镁铁质堆晶岩。少量辉长岩脉呈块状或韵律结构并侵入到地幔橄榄岩和辉绿岩中。辉绿岩呈席状岩床侵入到地幔橄榄岩之上,且少量辉绿岩脉侵入到下覆的地幔橄榄岩中。通过野外关系和地球化学研究,日喀则辉长岩可能并不是洋壳中岩浆房原位结晶堆积而成,而是深部位置岩浆囊经过不同程度分异演化形成富晶粥岩浆并向上侵入的结果。而席状辉绿岩床则是基性岩浆沿着构造薄弱面顺层侵入的结果。拆离断层可能导致了岩石圈地幔抬升和剥露,进而引起下覆软流圈地幔减压熔融和岩浆上侵。日喀则辉长-辉绿岩形成于慢速扩张脊较小规模的岩浆供应和不连续的岩浆侵入。  相似文献

华北克拉通由于新元古代早期构造-岩浆活动的地质记录较少,制约了对其新元古代时期构造演化的认识。本文对内蒙古中部固阳地区侵位于渣尔泰群阿古鲁沟组中3个变辉长岩岩床样品进行了锆石LA-ICP-MS U-Pb年代学测试,显示其侵位年龄为-925 Ma,表明华北克拉通北缘存在新元古代早期的岩浆活动。该岩床与同时期华北克拉通中部-925 Ma的基性岩墙群(大石沟岩墙)和东南部945-890 Ma的基性岩床群(徐淮-辽东-沙里院岩床)具有相似的岩石地球化学特征和重叠的Nd同位素组成,表明其可能是新元古代早期华北克拉通中—东部发育的大规模基性岩浆活动事件在克拉通北缘的响应,但其规模相对华北克拉通东南缘明显较小。华北克拉通北缘新元古代早期基性岩浆活动的发现,为深入了解华北克拉通北缘新元古代构造演化及其与罗迪尼亚超大陆的关系提供了重要线索。  相似文献

南海大陆边缘盆地由于边界条件的差异,不仅形成了不同类型的陆缘盆地,如离散型、走滑伸展型和伸展挠曲复合型,而且这些盆地构造演化存在明显的非同步性。这些陆缘破裂过程与南海扩张作用过程呈现明显不一致性。研究表明,南海扩张时期南海南、北大陆边缘均形成了一系列裂陷盆地,然而,南海南部、北部大陆边缘盆地裂陷作用结束时间不同,北部大陆边缘盆地裂陷作用结束于23 Ma或21 Ma,而南部大陆边缘盆地裂陷作用结束于15.5 Ma,显然北部大陆边缘盆地裂陷结束时间明显早于南部大陆边缘盆地。南海扩张停止后,南海南、北部陆缘仍表现出明显差异,北部陆缘仍以伸展作用为主,晚中新世以来出现快速沉降幕,而南海南部陆缘则以挤压作用为主,且其挤压时间及强度呈现南早北晚的特点,即南部曾母盆地明显早于南薇西盆地和北康盆地。南海南、北大陆边缘盆地形成演化的差异性,特别是构造转型差异变化,为新生代南海扩张的迁移性提供了有力的佐证,可以推断南海不同期次海盆扩张可能存在向南的突然跃迁。因此,本次研究梳理出的南海不同陆缘盆地张裂伸展的非同步性可为南海洋盆扩张演化过程解释提供新的证据。  相似文献

An extensive suite of igneous sills was intruded into the Tertiary sedimentary section of the Jiaojiang sag,East China Sea.This suite has been well imaged offshore through 2D and 3D seismic surveys,showing a close relationship with CO2 content in nearby gas discoveries.A new observational model,which incorporates simple upward propagation,simple horizontal propagation,and transgressive propagation,was proposed to interpret these sill intrusions.In this model,the source magma of the saucer-shaped sills was injected from their lowest points near the center.The transgressive propagation can be interpreted as a combination of the vertical and horizontal propagation.Most shallow sub-volcanic intrusions in the Jiaojiang sag exhibit fingered characteristics,both vertically and horizontally.The vertical fingered propagation produced saucer-shaped sills arranged in the flower style.Along the brims of lower sills could usually be found the upper sills,which are interpreted to have formed simultaneously with or later than the lower feeder sills.In the second type,the chilled paths of the older sills were reutilized by subsequent intrusions.The horizontal fingered propagation formed sheet intrusions that exhibit groove,lobate,tubular,and crevasse splaylike geometry in plan view.In 3D view,the sheet intrusions have still preserved the lower center and higher rim that similar with the sub-rounded saucer-shaped sills.Although fracture propagation may be important,flow inflation was the key mechanism of magma intrusion.Further consideration of the mechanisms underlying sill formation may help explain the fingered characteristics of sill propagation.  相似文献

The South Yellow Sea Basin is partially surrounded by the East Asian continental Meso-Cenozoic widespread igneous rocks belt. Magnetic anomaly and multi-channel seismic data both reveal the prevalent occurrence of igneous rocks. We preliminarily defined the coupling relation between magnetic anomalies and igneous rock bodies. Some igneous complexes were also recognized by using multi-channel seismic and drilling data. We identified various intrusive and extrusive igneous rock bodies, such as stocks, sills, dikes, laccoliths and volcanic edifice relics through seismic facies analysis. We also forecasted the distribution characteristics of igneous complexes. More than fifty hypabyssal intrusions and volcanic relics were delineated based on the interpretation of magnetic anomaly and dense intersecting multi-channel seismic data. It is an important supplement to regional geology and basin evolution research. Spatial matching relations between igneous rock belts and fractures document that extensional N–E and N–NE-trending deep fractures may be effective pathways for magma intrusion. These fractures formed under the influence of regional extension during the Meso-Cenozoic after the Indosinian movement. Isotopic ages and crosscutting relations between igneous rock bodies and the surrounding bedded sedimentary strata both indicate that igneous activities might have initiated during the Late Jurassic, peaked in the Early Cretaceous, gradually weakened in the Late Cretaceous, and continued until the Miocene. Combined with previous studies, it is considered that the Meso-Cenozoic igneous activities, especially the intensive igneous activity of the Early Cretaceous, are closely associated with the subduction of the Paleo-Pacific Plate.  相似文献

Various types of igneous suites occurred between 930 Ma and 890 Ma in the North China craton are known to represent a large igneous province (LIP). However, the magma plumbing system of this LIP and its potential consequence to a breakup event are poorly understood. We report morphology, crystal size distribution of plagioclase, and whole-rock and mineral geochemistry profiles of this LIP represented by the two decoupled mafic sill complexes (Niutishan and Pingshan) in the Xuhuai basin. In terms of petrography and whole-rock geochemistry, unlike the lower-level doleritic Niutishan sill, the Pingshan sill is subdivided into an upper and a lower sequence that meets at a Sandwich Horizon but lacks stratification. The significant En reversals present an almost M-shaped profile that differs from a C-shaped profile as previously revealed in the Niutishan sill. Quantitative textural analyses show relatively strong plagioclase orientation in the lower sequence of the Pingshan sill, which is attributed to magma flow. The Pingshan sill is interpreted to have been constructed as multiple magma injections from crustal magma chambers based on the crystal size distribution and the varied crystallization pressure (5.1–7.5 kbar) of clinopyroxene crystals.Similar to the far-field radiating Dashigou dyke swarm (c. 925 Ma), the Niutishan sill is enriched in incompatible elements, which may represent the initiation of the Xuhuai rifting. However, the depleted features of the diamond-bearing Pingshan sill and the other coeval doleritic sills (916–890 Ma) were probably related to the subsequent process switched from continental rifting to lithospheric rupture in the divergent stage of the Wilson cycle. The occurrence of the intrusive rocks evolving from an early radiating dyke swarm to later sill complexes indicates a time-transgressive change from radial to planar patterns, implying that it was the upwelling asthenospheric plume material, instead of plate boundary processes, governed the initial and early evolution of this intracontinental rift.  相似文献

Five Paleogene volcanics sampled from the northern South China Sea were analyzed via LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating,including basalt and andesite from Borehole SCSV1 and volcanic agglomerate from Borehole SCSV2,respectively.A total of 162 zircon U-Pb dates for them cover an age range from Neoarchean to Eocene,in which the pre-Paleocene data dominate.The Paleogene dates of 62.5±2.2 Ma and 42.1±2.9 Ma are associated with two igneous episodes prior to opening of South China Sea basin.Those pre-Paleocene zircons are inherited zircons mostly with magmatogenic oscillatory zones,and have REE features of crustal zircon.Zircon U-Pb dates of 2518–2481 Ma,1933– 1724 Ma,and 1094–1040 Ma from the SCSV1 volcanics,and 2810–2718 Ma,2458–2421 Ma,and 1850 –993.4 Ma from the SCSV2 volcanics reveal part of Precambrian evolution of the northern South China Sea,well comparable with age records dated from the Cathaysia block.The data of 927.0±6.9 Ma and 781±38 Ma dated from the SCSV2 coincide with amalgamation between Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks and breakup of the Rodinia,respectively.The age records of Caledonian orogeny from the Cathaysia block are widely found from our volcanic samples with concordant mean ages of 432.0±5.8 Ma from the SCSV1 and of 437±15 Ma from the SCSV2.The part of the northern South China Sea resembling the Cathaysia underwent Indosinian and Yanshannian tectonothermal events.Their age signatures from the SCSV1 cover 266.5±3.5 Ma,241.1±6.0 Ma,184.0±4.2 Ma,160.9±4.2 Ma and 102.8±2.6 Ma,and from the SCSV2 are 244±15 Ma,158.1±3.5 Ma,141±13 Ma and 96.3±2.1 Ma.Our pre-Paleogene U-Pb age spectra of zircons from the borehole volcanics indicate that the northern South China Sea underwent an evolution from formation of Precambrian basement,Caledonian orogeny,and Indosinian orogeny to Yanshannian magmatism.This process can be well comparable with the tectonic evolution of South China,largely supporting the areas of the northern South China Sea as part of southward extension of the Cathaysia.  相似文献

The sedimentary sequence mainly of fluvial deposits comprise an important component part of the low-stand system tract and transgressive system tract in the study region. The plannar variation and spatial association of the sedimentary features such as incised valley fillings, deltaic foreset wedges and block slides of shelf-marginal fans reflect the palaeogeographic environment during the fall of the regional sea level in the northern part of the South China Sea. Based on the high-resolution seismic reflection data and gelogical data from boreholes, the present paper makes an integrated interpretation of the Quaternary ancient river channels in the shallow sediments of the study area, studies the sedimentary features of the ancient channels such as their spatial distribution, seismic facies reflection indicators, sedimentary facies and sand -body types, and discusses thei  相似文献
