文章把一维热扩散湖模式成功地耦合到中尺度天气研究和预报模式WRF3.2中,建立了湖气耦合模式。并用太湖区梅梁湾获得的2010年8月11—28日的观测资料对该耦合模式模拟湖温的能力进行了初步评估。设计了3组方案进行对照试验,分别为:(1)没有加入湖模块的WRF模式试验(WRF);(2)没有对参数进行优化的原始耦合模式试验(WRF_Lake_Old);(3)对3个参数进行优化后的耦合模式试验(WRF_Lake_New)。结果表明耦合了湖泊模块并且参数优化后的湖气耦合模式(WRF_Lake_New)比没有包含湖面方案的WRF模式对太湖水温的模拟能力有了很大的改进。WRF_Lake_New能够合理地模拟出太湖梅梁湾上湖表温度的日变化,模拟的湖表温度误差范围平均在±1℃左右,模拟的空气温度平均误差范围在±0.5℃以内,模拟的感、潜热通量也与观测更为接近。该耦合模式在太湖的初步评估结果表明,该湖气耦合模式为下一步研究湖泊过程和湖气相互作用提供了重要的工具。  相似文献

Summary We investigated the effects of climate variability on the thermal structure of Lake Tahoe, California-Nevada, 1970–2002, and with principal components analysis and step-wise multiple regression, related the volume-weighed average lake temperature to trends in climate. We then used a 1-dimensional hydrodynamic model to show that the observed trends in the climatic forcing variables can reasonably explain the observed changes in the lake. Between 1970 and 2002, the volume-weighted mean temperature of the lake increased at an average rate of 0.015 C yr−1. Trends in the climatic drivers include 1) upward trends in maximum and minimum daily air temperature at Tahoe City; and 2) a slight upward trend in downward long-wave radiation. Changes in the thermal structure of the lake include 1) a long-term warming trend, with the highest rates near the surface and at 400 m; 2) an increase in the resistance of the lake to mixing and stratification, as measured by the Schmidt Stability and Birge Work; 3) a trend toward decreasing depth of the October thermocline. The long-term changes in the thermal structure of Lake Tahoe may interact with and exacerbate the well-documented trends in the lake's clarity and primary productivity.  相似文献

Abstract

The wind generation of transverse thermocline motions in an infinitely long two‐layer channel is studied theoretically. Winds both along and across the channel are considered. Horizontal momentum transfer is parameterized by a constant coefficient of eddy viscosity. For a channel narrow compared with its internal Rossby radius of deformation, the transverse motions are uni‐modal and generated most efficiently by long‐shore winds. Theoretical results in this narrow channel limit agree well with observations made at Babine Lake, British Columbia. For a channel wide compared with its Rossby radius, the response is multi‐modal, especially for cross‐channel winds. For a model Lake Michigan, computed interfacial displacements due to a steady wind either across or along the channel are small compared with the observed displacements. However, a semi‐diurnal wind (in either direction) is in near resonance with the seventh transverse mode. Thus multi‐modal displacements as large as those observed could possibly be generated by semi‐diurnal winds across or along the channel.  相似文献

Cross-spectra between wind speeds on several masts in Lake Ontario have been analyzed. As previously predicted, coherence over water (small intensity of turbulence) between wind speeds measured on masts lined up with the wind appears to be larger than over land, and increases with decreasing Richardson numbers. As a result, in cold air over warm water, wind speed fluctuations are well predictable from upstream measurements. For large angles between the anemometer line and wind, the difference between coherence over land and water disappears. Furthermore, there is no significant difference in vertical coherence between water and land. When the wind is parallel to the anemometer line, small eddies travel, in agreement with Taylor's hypothesis, with the local mean wind speed. Large eddies travel significantly faster. Vertical phase delay increases with increasing Richardson number.  相似文献

Wind, temperature and humidity fluctuations have been recorded using a sonic anemometer-thermometer, a thrust anemometer, and a La humidiometer. The two anemometers agree in wind speed and stress. 利用2004年12月至2009年2月无锡马山自动站和无锡学前街自动站气温数据,分析了太湖地区局地小气候的变化特征。结果表明:太湖地区局地小气候特征非常显著,总体上表现为年际、季际、月际和各时段的平均气温较其他地区异常偏低。但在不同的气象条件背景下如晴天、雨天和各种特殊天气存在不同的特点。晴天太湖地区主要表现为气温偏低;雨天春夏秋季主要表现为气温偏高,而冬季表现为气温偏低。高温、暴雪天气条件下,太湖地区主要为气温偏低但强度上存在很大的差异,而寒潮天气条件下太湖地区气温相较其他地区则时高时低。  相似文献

The modification of a relatively cold air mass over the warm water of Lake Michigan is studied by using a two-dimensional nonlinear mesoscale model. Considerable amounts of heat and water vapor are supplied from the water surface to the lower atmosphere by turbulent eddies. A convective mixed layer develops and grows toward the downwind region with stratocumulus clouds over the lake.The model simulates the warming and moistening of the mixed layer, the development of a boundary layer, the divergence and convergence of wind near the coastlines, and the turbulent fluxes.The model warming of the mixed layer across the lake was about 2.2 °K and the moistening of the mixed layer was about 0.8 g kg–1, which are comparable to 2.7 °K and 0.8 g kg–1 observed by Lenschow (1973). The convective boundary layer, which includes the cloud layer, subcloud layer, and superadiabatic layer near the water surface, is well simulated. The tilt of the inversion which coincides with the cloud top is also well reproduced. When a prescribed cooling rate is applied at the cloud top, stronger turbulence and a deeper cloud layer are generated. Without the cooling, the cloud is shallow and the shape of the cloud base is determined by surface conditions. The rise of the inversion is due to upward vertical motion, and deepening of the convective layer in the downwind region.  相似文献

Idealized large-eddy simulations of lake and sea breezes are conducted to determine the sensitivity of these thermally-driven circulations to variations in the land-surface sensible heat flux and initial atmospheric stability. The lake-breeze and sea-breeze metrics of horizontal wind speed, horizontal extent, and depth are assessed. Modelled asymmetries about the coastline in the horizontal extent of the low-level onshore flow are found to vary as a function of the heat flux and stability. Small lake breezes develop similarly to sea breezes in the morning, but have a significantly weaker horizontal wind-speed component and a smaller horizontal extent than sea breezes in the afternoon.  相似文献

Abstract

The characteristics of microseisms measured in four vaults of the Southern Ontario Seismic Network within 30 km of the shore of Lake Ontario are analysed. It is shown that the rms values in the 1–3 Hz band are coherent between the stations, indicating a common generative mechanism. A distinct onshore intermittent flux of Rayleigh‐like wave energy was detected at a site near the shore. Microseismic energy in this band is distinctly correlated with the wind speed. The incremental microseismic energy above an absolute minimum activity as a function of wind direction, for a given fixed wind speed, correlates with the average fetch of the wind over the lake, indicating that the source of microseisms is the lake itself. The sensitivity to fetch effects is similar for both onshore and offshore stations indicating that shoaling is probably not a source. Niagara Falls, which also can have a wind‐dependent flow from Lake Erie, causes a measurable effect to at least 25 km but does not significantly affect stations at a distance of 150 km.  相似文献

The evaporation regime of Lake Ladoga is specified using the renewed meteorological data. The traditional approach is supplemented with a new method of estimating the impact of shallow-water zones on the evaporation intensification worked out by G.N. Panin. The obtained results corroborate that the level of precipitation minus evaporation varies in different zones of the lake that can influence the water mass redistribution in the lake in certain seasons.  相似文献

流域洪涝与干旱对流域水资源利用及生态平衡具有重要影响。探讨流域水文要素与气候因子的关系,是应用气候指数进行流域旱涝监测和影响评估的重要前提。基于四湖流域8个气象站及洪湖湖区水位代表站逐月观测资料,从月、季及连续时间序列月平均标准化水位距平与不同时间尺度SPEI/SPI干旱指数的相关分析,研究洪湖水位对不同时间尺度SPEI/SPI指数的响应。结果表明:四湖流域洪涝与干旱主要受降水控制,洪湖水位与SPEI/SPI干旱指数具有较好的相关性,但其相关程度因不同月份和季节及干旱指数的时间尺度存在一定差异,总体上洪湖水位与4~6个月时间尺度SPEI/SPI干旱指数相关性最为密切,表明洪湖水位对降水及蒸散发导致的水分盈亏的响应具有时滞效应和累积效应,当前月洪湖水位受当月及前3~5个月水分盈亏的共同影响。基于5个月时间尺度的SPEI/SPI干旱指数监测历史时期洪湖水位变化具有很好的一致性。研究结果为基于常规气象观测资料进行四湖流域旱涝监测提供了理论依据,同时可为其他流域旱涝监测与评估提供借鉴。  相似文献

湖陆下垫面的非均匀性对强对流天气的发展演变有很大的影响。鄱阳湖是我国最大的淡水湖,湖面积具有明显的月变化和季节变化,而模式中的下边界一般默认湖面积不变,这与实际情况的差异较大,必然带来模式预报误差。利用WRF模式对夏季夜间发生在鄱阳湖地区的一次强对流天气过程进行数值模拟,并通过湖面积变化的敏感性试验,深入研究鄱阳湖对强对流天气发展演变的影响及其机理,结果表明:夏季夜间湖面上空2 m温度明显高于陆面,向湖陆风在湖面上空辐合上升,岸边则存在下沉辐散气流。这导致降水在湖西岸减弱、湖上空增强。随后用去湖敏感性试验印证了鄱阳湖的暖湖效应,湖泊的存在能够通过激发陆风次级环流对湖西岸(湖面)上空降水起抑制(促进)作用。去湖试验的降水在湖西岸增强20%,在湖面上空减弱16%,体现出湖泊对降水强度的重要影响。此外,还发现湖面积扩大1.5、2.5、3.5、4.0倍的扩湖敏感性试验的降水在湖面上空分别增幅7%、16%、30%、43%,进一步证实了强对流强度对鄱阳湖面积变化较为敏感。这指示我们在预报夏季夜间穿湖而过的强对流天气时,应重点关注其可能存在的入湖前减弱、入湖后增强的变化趋势。同时,在利用数值模式模拟湖区强对流天气过程时,如果湖面积与模式中默认的湖面积相差较大,则应考虑将实际湖面积引入模式下边界,以期提升模式对于湖区对流的预报能力。  相似文献

Summary Net radiation is an essential parameter for estimating evaporation from large water surfaces by energy balance method. Net radiation has been measured for the first time over the Aswan High Dam Lake on the Nile River for 132 days including warm and cold seasons. A high multiple linear correlation coefficient of 0.98 was obtained between the measured net radiation on the one hand and the global solar radiation measured at Aswan and the difference between water and air temperatures measured over the Lake on the other hand.Seven different empirical formulae for estimating the effective outgoing radiation have been applied on the average data measured over the Lake for days of clear sky. It has been found that the Swinbank formula is the best one suitable for the location of the Aswan High Dam Lake.With 2 Figures  相似文献

基于江西79个气象站1961-2010年逐日气温和降水观测资料,采用滑动t检验和Mann-kendell法对鄱阳湖流域年平均气温进行突变检验分析,利用线性回归方法分别对鄱阳湖流域气温、降水量、降水日数、降水强度等要素的变化趋势进行了分析。结果表明:(1)1961-2010年鄱阳湖流域年平均气温为18.0℃,升温趋势明显,升温率达0.16℃/(10 a),在1996年出现显著突变。冬季升温趋势最明显,夏季气温虽呈上升趋势,但不显著。(2)流域平均年降水量为1643 mm,呈略增多趋势。20世纪60-80年代和21世纪00年代降水量偏少,90年代降水量相对偏多。最大年降水量出现在1975年,为2149.6 mm;最小年降水量出现在1963年,为1111.6 mm。(3)流域年降水日数总体呈现下降趋势,下降率约为6.9 d/(10 a)。其中,小雨日数下降最为显著,下降率约为7.1 d/(10 a);中雨日数呈略下降趋势;大雨和暴雨日数呈现略增加趋势。(4)流域年降水强度总体呈现上升趋势,每10 a上升约0.52 mm/d,说明流域降水集中度增大,强降水事件增多。  相似文献

利用艾比湖流域近40a来气温资料,分析了气温的变化特征,结果表明:艾比湖流域气温有着明显上升的趋势,尤其以20世纪90年代最为明显.艾比湖流域的气温升高具有明显的季节性差异,表现为冬季变暖明显,而春季变暖的趋势较为缓慢,艾比湖流域年气温的演变特点与新疆的基本一致.艾比湖流域最高和最低气温的变化普遍存在不对称性.  相似文献

鄱阳湖是中国最大的淡水湖泊,水位与面积是湖区生态系统中的重要参数.主要研究鄱阳湖水位与面积的数学关系,以便用水位来快速推求湖面面积.利用美国EFDC水动力学模型对典型年份面积进行模拟,得出逐日模拟面积,而后根据康山、棠荫、都昌和星子4站实际水位与模拟面积建立数学关系,最后使用遥感数据对模拟面积进行验证.结果表明,典型年份鄱阳湖水位与面积具有高动态性,平均相对误差为4.14%,模拟面积与实际面积误差较小.  相似文献
