A method is presented for the estimation of possible maximum accelerations, as well as of other accelerogram or seismogram characteristics, based on the stochastic variation of the spectral phase of pulses from an observed time series of interest, possibly the ‘design earthquake’. For a seismic source with the same spectral amplitude the variations are caused by slight differences in source time function, source or receiver location, etc. A large number of variations define the range of possible time series, as well as clear and stable relationships between the standard deviations of phase variation distributions (here considered Gaussian) and possible values of the studied features, as well as their distributions and probabilities.  相似文献

为识别年径流量序列的隐含周期,提出基于加速遗传算法的熵谱估计算法,与传统的方差谱和Burg谱相比,该方法由熵谱分析的4个等价条件构建多目标函数,并以加速遗传算法作为优化算法,谱估计结果不依赖于初始值的选取,对数据长度、信噪比和初相位有较强的适应性。在三川河流域后大成站1956-2000年径流量序列周期识别中的应用结果表明,在95%的置信检验水平下,序列中存在着12.29年和2.67年的显著隐含周期,为三川河流域年径流的变化规律和变化的阶段性研究提供了一条新的定量研究手段。  相似文献

Detailed X-ray diffraction analysis of cores taken in the eastern equatorial Atlantic suggest that during approximately the last 600,000 yr a relatively constant background of clay mineral deposition has existed on which are superimposed large oscillations in quartz input (relative to illite). The quartz is transported from the Sahara Desert by the northeast trade winds and the quartz/illite oscillations appear to reflect past changes in the transporting effectiveness (intensity) of the trade winds. Comparison of the quartz/illite variations with paleotemperature variations for the northeast Atlantic suggests that major inputs of quartz correlate with cold periods and that warm periods correlate with low quartz input. The parallelism between the curves indicates a fundamental link between trade wind intensity and past climatic fluctuations, and further suggests that the changes of intensity are closely atuned to temperature fluctuations in the northern latitudes. The relationship between the quartz/illite variations and wind intensity is complicated by the fact that other climatically controlled factors may also affect quartz deposition in the equatorial Atlantic.  相似文献

受大气环境等因素的影响, 高光谱遥感矿物识别难以达到较高的精度.为解决该问题, 根据光谱吸收特征参数在大气变化中能保持相对稳定的特点, 提出一种基于光谱特征参数组合的高光谱矿物类型识别方法.文中计算了多种光谱特征参数, 通过最佳指数因子(optimum index factor, OIF)优选特征参数组合, 选定最佳特征参数组合, 利用模式识别方法实现矿物识别.利用机载可见/红外成像光谱仪(airborne visible infrared imaging spectrometer, AVIRIS)高光谱数据, 在美国内华达州Cuprite矿区进行了该方法的应用试验研究, 并与前人矿物填图结果做了对比.结果表明: 吸收波谷位置-吸收面积-吸收右肩位置(P-A-S2)光谱特征参数组合的矿物识别效果最优, 整体精度达到74.68%.   相似文献

Flood quantiles are routinely used in hydrologic engineering to design hydraulic structures, optimize erosion control structure and map the extent of floodplains. As an increasing number of papers are pointing out cycles and trends in hydrologic time series, the use of stationary flood distributions leads to the overestimation or underestimation of the hydrologic risk at a given time. Several authors tried to address this problem by using probability distributions with time-varying parameters. The parameters of these distributions were assumed to follow a linear or quadratic trend in time, which may be valid for the short term but may lead to unrealistic long-term projections. On the other hand, deterministic rainfall-runoff models are able to successfully reproduce trends and cycles in stream flow data but can perform poorly in reproducing daily flows and flood peaks. Rainfall-runoff models typically have a better performance when simulation results are aggregated at a larger time scale (e.g. at a monthly time scale vs. at a daily time scale). The strengths of these two approaches are combined in this paper where the annual maximum of the time-averaged outputs of a hydrologic model are used to modulate the parameters of a non-stationary GEV model of the daily maximum flow. The method was applied to the Kemptville Creek located in Ontario, Canada, using the SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) model as rainfall-runoff model. The parameters of the non-stationary GEV model are then estimated using Monte Carlo Markov Chain, and the optimal span of the time windows over which the SWAT outputs were averaged was selected using Bayes factors. Results show that using the non-stationary GEV distribution with a location parameter linked to the maximum 9-day average flow provides a much better estimation of flood quantiles than applying a stationary frequency analysis to the simulated peak flows.  相似文献

格尔木河流域干旱少雨,蒸发强烈,为格尔木地区经济发展提供水资源保障。蒸散发是干旱内陆地区地表水及地下水排泄的主要方式,准确估算研究区长时间序列的蒸散量时空分布及其影响因素,对研究区水资源合理开发利用及生态环境保护具有重要意义。传统的蒸散量估算方法难以获取大尺度时空范围参数且估算结果误差较大。文章以格尔木河流域山前平原区为研究区,应用连续序列的MODIS数据及GLDAS气象数据基于SEBS模型估算格尔木河流域山前平原区蒸散量,利用线性回归法及Mann-Kendall显著性检验法分析其连续时间序列内的变化趋势,分析其影响因素。结果表明:研究区蒸散量从2001到2016年总体呈增长趋势,盐沼平原及山前戈壁砾质平原大部分地区蒸散量变化在16年间呈稳定不变状态,盐湖区和绿洲平原呈显著增长趋势。研究区16年间不同地貌蒸散量夏季增减幅度均远大于其他三季,冬季变化幅度最小。  相似文献

A series of experiments have been conducted with polyethylene and polystyrene standards in an attempt to define the advantages and limitations of a vacuum pyrolysis—gas chromatography—mass spectrometry procedure for the characterization of kerogen and other macromolecular substances. Effects of variations in pyrolysis temperatures and times, sample sizes (weights) and thickness were evaluated together with the reproducibility of the nature and abundances of pyrolyzates. The effects of minerals (illite and quartz) admixed in the polymers were also considered with reference to the nature of the breakdown products. Optimal pyrolysis conditions, where primary pyrolyzates were sufficiently abundant and secondary products did not hinder characterization, were attained at 450°C and 60–90 min. The reproducibility of the nature and quantities of pyrolyzates was rather satisfactory at this temperature and pyrolysis time. However, relatively large samples of macromolecular matter, which is considerably volatile at this temperature, led to the synthesis of an abundant yield of secondary products, but sample thickness does not affect the nature of pyrolyzates. Admixed mineral matter affected the nature and relative abundances of the pyrolyzates but did not impede characterization of samples, as primary breakdown products were discernible. Macromolecular substances of limited volatility, heterogeneous chemical composition and containing intractable mineral matter, such as many kerogens, need to be pyrolyzed as relatively large samples. The vacuum procedure used in these studies may be to advantage, as compared with some other methods, to pyrolyze such samples. This method seems to be also suitable for the pyrolysis of volatile macromolecular matter, provided that small samples are employed.  相似文献

Processes affecting groundwater temperature patterns in a coastal aquifer   总被引:2,自引:2,他引:0  
The temperature depth profiles of six wells in the Motril-Salobren~a aquifer were used as a basis for a comparative analysis involving various parameters to determine their relations and factors influencing the different trends. There is a clear influence of ambient temperature on all the profiles, with a lag time of two to five months. Nevertheless, there are clear differences in the temperature depth profile patterns that can be accounted for by other factors. First, there is a greater influence of localized recharge; Guadalfeo River as opposed to diffuse recharge; irrigation return flow and rainfall. Three of the wells located near the riverbed of the Guadalfeo River have extremely variable temperature-depth profiles and show clear river influence. In springtime, during the highest flood stages of the river due to cold melt water from the Sierra Nevada, the groundwater falls in temperature. During secondary peaks in river flow rates during the autumn due to rainfall, the warm water increases groundwater temperature. The effect of the river recharge decreases with distance from the course since there is less mixing with water from the Guadalfeo River. In addition, there are two temperature-depth profiles in which temperature variations remain shallow and follow a pattern that cannot be attributed to the influence of either of the above two parameters. Among these two cases, the most influential factor is the groundwater flow pattern typical of a discharge zone, characterized by vertical-flow components.  相似文献

电子自旋共振(ESR)技术是一种确定物质成分和结构的顺磁性质的分析方法,也能够用于沉积物定年。该方法的测量技术和测年的物理机制等还处于发展阶段。冰川作用过程十分复杂,形成各种类型的冰川沉积物,其顺磁信号的归零机制有显著差异,ESR测年的实验方案也有所差异。因此,识别冰碛物类型,采集合适的样品对于ESR测年的准确性十分重要。冰下融出碛和滞碛经过了冰下磨蚀过程,结构致密,细颗粒基质含量高,石英砂中的一些杂质芯的ESR信号能够衰退。许多冰上融出碛,结构疏松,但细颗粒基质含量高,不但经过了搬运过程中的冰下磨蚀过程使ESR信号衰退,又经历了沉积时的冰上阳光直射过程使信号衰退,一些样品的ESR信号能够完全晒退。冰水湖泊和冰水河流沉积的细砂和粉砂来源于冰下研磨的产物,信号会衰退;在搬运沉积过程中又可能被阳光直射,信号进一步衰退。其它类型的冰碛物的ESR信号衰退机制不明,或粒径不适合用ESR方法测年。采集冰碛物ESR年代样品时,最好同时采集信号衰退机制相同的现代冰碛物样品,以便对照,并用于扣除可能的残留信号。  相似文献

在重要的岩土工程中,确定大样本岩土参数的概率分布对岩土工程稳定性和可靠性分析有着极其重要的意义。为此,基于积分均方误差最小计算得到的最优窗宽,提出了推断大样本岩土参数概率密度函数的正态信息扩散法。该方法基于信息扩散原理,从试验样本和信息论的角度出发,充分利用样本提供的数据信息,而不是先假定成经典的概率分布曲线拟合检验,数学意义和物理意义更加充分和严密。以推断压缩指数Cc的概率密度函数为例,分析了窗宽对信息扩散估计结果的影响规律,说明了该方法在大样本岩土参数概率密度函数推断方面的合理性。用该方法推断了大样本岩土抗剪强度参数的概率密度函数,通过K-S检验,验证了该方法的正确性和实用性。  相似文献

粘土矿物组合和绿泥石成分常被用来讨论盆地沉积物的成岩作用和埋藏古温度。许多沉积盆地的研究结果显示,泥 岩和页岩中的粘土矿物组合和绿泥石的成分与埋藏深度/温度有关。但也见有例外的现象存在。文中主要探讨了新疆塔北隆 起泥岩中的粘土矿物组合和绿泥石成分的特征,以及与盆地古盐度的关系。研究结果表明:(1)在塔北隆起泥岩中,埋藏 深度2777.37~4604.41m,地层单位为J1-N2的粘土矿物组合为I+Chl和I+Chl+Ka; 埋藏深度5071.52~5299.37m,地层单位为 T1的粘土矿物组合为R0I/S+I+Chl和R0I/S+Chl。(2)研究区的成岩绿泥石为Ⅱb型铁镁绿泥石,其成分特征主要表现为: ①配位八面体中阳离子的占位数为11.532(总平均值);②ⅥAl含量明显大于ⅣAl含量;③(Fe+Mg)为4.016(总平均值);④ Si/Al比值>1。(3)根据研究区盐类矿物的分布范围以及古盐度的数据,讨论了古盐度对该区粘土矿物组合和绿泥石成分的 影响,指出古盐度是影响本区粘土矿物组合和绿泥石成分变化的主要因素。用古盐度解释了<5000m深度的粘土矿物组合 中不含无序伊/蒙混层(R0I/S)矿物,而>5000m深度粘土矿物组合中含有无序伊/蒙混层(R0I/S)矿物的异常现象。揭示了 在一定的深度范围(2777.37~4405.27m),一定的古盐度条件下(Sr/Ba比值≥0.4,并有盐类矿物出现),绿泥石成分受到 古盐度的制约,并且随着古盐度的增高,绿泥石成分中的Al、ⅣAl、Na、Na2O、Al/Si随之增高,而Si/Al则随之降低。由 绿泥石成分温度计获得的温度值也伴随着古盐度的增高而增高。因此,由绿泥石成分温度计所计算的温度不能代表本区实 际埋藏的古温度。(4)研究区内绿泥石成分中的SiO2和FeO与母岩的对应成分之间有一定的相关性,其SiO2绿泥石与SiO2岩石、 FeO绿泥石与FeO岩石呈负相关的线性关系,并且这种关系在古盐度的干扰下也未受到影响。  相似文献

The palaeontological site of Venta Micena (Orce, Andalusia, Spain) lies in the eastern sector of the Guadix–Baza basin, one of the best documented areas in Europe for Plio‐Pleistocene biostratigraphy. The combination of biochronological and palaeomagnetic results, combined with the radiometric data obtained for Atapuerca Sima del Elefante, indicated that the Venta Micena stratum was formed between the Jaramillo and Olduvai palaeomagnetic events, most likely between 1.22 and 1.77 Ma. Five fossil teeth from two outcrops (sites A and B) were selected to assess the potential of combined uranium series–electron spin resonance (US‐ESR) dating of Early Pleistocene sites. Although the US‐ESR results of the first outcrop showed a large scatter between the three teeth, the mean age of 1.37 ± 0.24 Ma can be considered a reasonable age estimate for Venta Micena. The mean ESR age of 0.62 ± 0.03 Ma obtained for site B seems to be a severe underestimation when compared with the independent age control. This underestimation is attributed to a relative recent U‐mobilization event that led to some U‐leaching. The results show that any ESR age calculations of old samples are extremely sensitive to variations in the measured 230Th/234U ratios in dental tissues. Although the results demonstrate that ESR can in principle be applied to Early Pleistocene sites, they also reveal the complexity of dating such old teeth. It is necessary to continue research in several directions, such as study of the behaviour of ESR signals in old teeth and understanding recent U‐mobilization processes, to improve the reliability of the combined US‐ESR dating method applied to Early Pleistocene times, a period for which the number of available numerical dating techniques is very limited. Bamboo corals (Order Gorgonacea, Family Isididae) are attractive prospects for deep-sea paleoceanographic reconstruction, capturing trace elements in their calcitic skeletons that may serve as environmental proxies with subdecadal resolution over multi-century timescales. We study the reproducibility and fidelity of trace-element profiles (Ba, Mg, Sr, Mn, U, Pb) in a 420-year-old specimen of the bamboo coral Keratoisis sp. from the SE USA.Using laser-ablation ICP-MS to obtain multiple replicate profiles, we use spectral techniques to distinguish noise and irreproducible variations from fully reproducible geochemical fluctuations that are candidates for environmental signals. By quantifying variability between profiles, we assess the fidelity with which the corals potentially record environmental information.Barium is the most reproducible element in the skeleton, with large fluctuations along different growth radii reproducing to within 4%. Both Mg and Sr have very uniform levels within the coral, but display low-amplitude irreproducible variations that might represent an internal biological process. In the case of Mg, which has been proposed as a paleotemperature proxy, this irreproducibility would represent an intrinsic uncertainty of ∼±0.1 to 0.4 °C. Both Mn and Pb contain some irreproducibility superimposed upon broad reproducible profiles that may be environmental signals. Some of the irreproducible Pb fluctuations correlate with cracks and dark bands in the sample suggesting detrital or surface contamination. Uranium displays large amplitude variations which are not reproducible along different radii. This suggests that uranium cannot be used for paleoenvironmental reconstruction, and may show signs of early diagenesis - a possibility that could complicate attempts to date young Keratoisis sp. samples by U-series geochemistry.The highly reproducible Ba signal allows precise alignment of profiles and thus we can show that growth rate along one radius can vary by a factor of two relative to growth along a different radius. There is no evidence that this large variation in relative growth rate affects either the Mg or Sr incorporation. In addition, geochemical anomalies in Ba and Mg indicate that the very central axis of the specimen may represent a different mode of growth.This study suggests that Keratoisis sp. corals are imperfect recorders of geochemical information, but do contain reproducible variations which are good candidates for environmental signals.  相似文献

Using artificial samples, it is shown that, even for the method of maximum entropy spectral analysis (mesa) evolved by Burg, a presence of a linear trend gives distortions (frequency shifts) in the low frequency (high periodicity) region and hence, it is advisable to eliminate linear trends before attempting spectral analysis. The effect of the presence of a non-zero mean is not very definite; but, very large mean values seem to reduce the sharpness of the peaks. The implications of these findings for the results by Jin and Thomas for some geomagnetic parameters are discussed.  相似文献

Calcite grains from 19 composite dolomite-calcite marble samples from the Marmorilik Formation, West Greenland, have been analysed for Ca, Mg, and Fe with the microprobe in order to estimate metamorphic temperatures using the calcite-dolomite solvus geothermometer. The results show that there are large variations within single samples, and, insofar as any thermal gradient can be detected, it is the opposite of that indicated by mineral parageneses. Current practice in the application of the method is therefore questioned.  相似文献

Mean tendencies and variances of ad hoc mean estimates (field estimates) of some engineering geological parameters were compared to statistically obtained reference values. The latter correspond to the “best” estimates in the sense of approximating so-called reality (Einstein and Baecher, 1982. Probabilistic and statistical methods in engineering geology. The study was carried out by means of a demoscopic field study on 43 engineering geologists. “Professional experience” was examined by comparing the estimation results of two trial groups, one consisting of people with several years of professional experience, the other one consisting of university students. The biases of the ad hoc estimates due to subjectivity and the limitation of working time at the selected reference outcrops follow statistically describable trends and thus can be analyzed by univariate and multivariate methods. Some geological and psychological hypotheses concerning the mean estimation trends, correlations and discriminations are postulated. Implications on commonly used field estimation methods are discussed.  相似文献

根据西藏矿产资源潜力评价的实践成果,针对第一批"全国矿产资源潜力评价"项目中资源量估算过程中存在的问题和不足,结合实践和认识,系统总结已有潜力评价工作中资源量估算过程中的经验和方法,进一步完善了全国矿产资源潜力评价中资源量估算流程和方法,提出了成矿地质体体积法中面积、延深、相似系数等重要估算参数的确定思路和方法。在综合矿产资源潜力评价中资源量估算方法和西藏矿产资源潜力评价实践成果的基础上,应用VBA编写而成的资源量估算辅助工具软件包"地质体积法预测辅助系统",可以很好地应用于矿产资源潜力评价中资源量估算,为新一批全国矿产资源潜力评价项目工作以及其它相关矿产勘查和预测工作提供帮助和参考意义。  相似文献
